Located in a peaceful little area, this was a great change form the noisy streets we were used to. Walking distance to the Nile and felucca rides. Close to shops, eateries embassies. The room was not amazing, very old look and furniture, but the staff were really welcoming, helping and kind and that made all the difference. Its not the fanciest of places but they were really hospitable. One issue I had though, no kettle for tea and coffee in room, you have to buy from their cafe. A hotel room must must have a tea coffee station. Breakfast was nice. Exploring the area was lovely.

Very kind staff and generous service. The rooms are kept very clean and the complimentary breakfast is wonderful. Would definitely recommend eating outside if weather allows. If you are visiting from another country, dont forget a power adapter for your room!

Dont even think about it it is the worst hotel . worth internet. If i know then what I know now I wont even give them a dollar a night

It could be that my previous hotel was ghastly (and yes it was) but this felt like angels massaging me. The room I had was lovely and large. Beautiful showers! The only thing is there seems to be smoking allowed inside. The hallways smelled of cigarette smoke.Theres a restaurant downstairs and you can order room service straight from them. The foods not bad. Not great but passable.The staff are super efficient and helpful. Very friendly and always willing to see to what you need. I would only suggest making sure rooms are stocked with toilet paper.If you dont want to eat downstairs, there are plenty of options just a few metres away over the railway tracks. There are plenty of options, from street food and ice cream all the way to coffee shops, cafés and higher end restaurants. I highly recommend the Pearl Maadi Hotel.

Its very nice hotel, great location, very clean, breakfast is really good, smiling people, receiptionest is very helpful, the house keeping smiling all the time, staff r very friendly, wifi is not bad,

I stayed for one night in one of the renovated rooms, it was clean and cozy. Next morning I had breakfast it was good. the restaurant with the outdoor area is well renovated. The staff are very decent and helpful. The price is good , I would recommend it.

As foreing resident I found the hotel and restaurant very clean and renewed, unfortunatly the price on booking different than the real cost when you are going to check in they dont explain that for resident price they mean working resident and not foreing resident..there you will have a surprise with a cost for a room of 80$ per night...quite expensive for a 3 star in Cairo

Great, very homely hotel. The staff are very accommodating and courteous. The morning breakfast is delicious too! Love the local feel in this location. The area is refreshing distance away from the tourist madness. The neighborhood was also very clean, safe, and friendly.

Just a friendly advise for the ones who are trying to stay there. I did a booking through booking.com and when I got there they overcharged me because Im foreign. Yes, they asked me for more money. I accepted because I was already there, but in the app it wasnt say ANYTHING about it. The only thing that was there is “Under Egyptian law all foreign guests must pay in a foreign currency, not Egyptian currency” and guess what? Their machine just accepted Egyptian currency. Also I mentioned that I was booking for two days, but I would probably extending for more days and GUESS WHAT? I saw in a few minutes the value in the app go up from $ 35 a day to $ 40 till get to $ 53. IN MINUTES.I came alone to Egypt to work as a volunteer and I’m so DISAPPOINTED because it was the second problem in one week here with hotels.

Staff is very attentive and helpful no matter what you ask for ,they are there to accommodate. Mr Mohamed Soliman is a stand out by all means ,very knowledgeable and professional gentleman in all aspects.As for the hotel ,its the the most glamorous I have stayed at ,but definitely the most comfortable and convenient that I didnt want to leave. Will be back again soon .
