Very good hotel & have a very nice view

Huge confusion regarding the room we had booked and the room we were eventually assigned, only after waiting a good few hours. We had no choice but to stay in an alternate room instead of the suite we originally booked - which they did try to correct after we cancelled the remainder of our stay.If you are not Muslim, your bags will be searched for alcohol upon arrival without prior warning.Geysers are shared between rooms so you can enjoy all 2 minutes of your shower before the hot water runs cold. This happened every time I had a shower.Only looks good on paper, save your time and patience and stay somewhere else. Highly disappointed.Added an extra star for the view.

Other Cairo hotels of similar price served much better food.5. Location too far from main tourist attractions. Down town is better.6. Worst of all, we came back to the hotel at night to find some other guest was staying in our room! Imagine our shock when our room key didnt work and a stranger opened the room door! When asked, hotel said they moved all our stuff to a different room, without our consent! The hotel argues they had told my friend beforehand but my friend is adamant the hotel only mentioned they MIGHT need to change our room. The hotel had our phone number but never called us to ask permission. And it gets worse...a. All our stuff were dumped in big plastic bags, it took AGES for my friend and I to sort out and repack.b. Luckily nothing major was missing but my friend lost her face wash.c. The hotel personnel was extremely rude and unapologetic. When asked to speak with his manager, he even lied and said he is the manager. Only when we threatened to give bad reviews did he ring his manager.d. After a very long argument, the hotel only offered us 15% discount. This just shows how little respect they have for their customers.Have never experienced such anger, frustration and waste of time with a hotel.

We were a family of 4 travelling .We arrived early after a long flight. No rooms were available for early check in which was okay but when we got back to check in at 2 only one room was available and we waited over 45 mins for our room to be available. We booked 2 single beds and one double bed as we are a newly married couple only to find they had two single beds available for us. Huge confusion with rooms reserved . We were so tired and just wanted a hot shower so we kept the single beds. Jump into the shower only to find out theres no hot water ! Which they sorted but we share a geyser with the room next door. And you only get 2 mins of hot water before it goes cold again ! Our bags were searched upon check in without informing us why. My brothers shisha was confiscated although the hotels menu offered shishas. The stuff were helpful but only one spoke English. Which was rather difficulty to Express our concerns. They did however offer us another room for one more night but we didnt feel comfortable there and decided to cancel our booking and left the very next day . The view is good and staff are helpful but I think its mainly for locals, we felt very unsettled there .

Upon our arrival our bags were opened and searched without any prior warning from the hotel, which was very upsetting. Imagine arriving at your hotel after waiting 7 hours to check in, and the first thing that happens is that you have your luggage searched. A hookah I had bought was confiscated we without any reason being given although smoking cigarettes is allowed all throughout the hotel.Once we got settled into our rooms after a 30 minute wait, I went to take a shower. Only to discover a few minutes after I jumped in that the hot water had run out. Oh yes, Ive also been having problems with the wifi .Kinda really dissatisfied and upset.

Very good staff, rooms are clean and new, amazing view. But breakfast is bad. Recommend the Bed and breakfast

All bags were searched upon arrival?? WiFi terribly slow. No hot water. They took our hubbly away even though our room allows smoking. Youd much rather stay somewhere else!

Its a beautiful place and everybody there is so professional and kind and they always offered to help u everytime.. its so quiet and relaxing.. special thanks to Mr.Mohamed Hussein you were so kind and sweet and made everything is possible to us to enjoy our vacation

Friendly staff, with military system, food is not bad room is spacious, Nile view is amazing, room cleanliness is really poor however the room is really good

Don’t do this to yourself!Bed bugs everywhere and ripped and torn bed sheets.No shampoo or basic amenities.We slept with full clothes on and escaped on the morning.

The hotel organizes boat trips.. at a reasonable price..But the sweet doesnt complete it.The site is relatively far from the services.. And the security procedures are a lot of inconvenience and are too tight.. Bags are opened and manually inspected.. The hotel door is closed at 11 pmFor Saudi families, especially grooms, sometimes they ask for a Saudi family card as proof.Management is unprofessionalFor example: they tell you that breakfast is included.. and you are surprised that there is no buffet.. except for a popular breakfast request, falafel, some beans and boiled eggs only.. and if you ask for a cup of tea with breakfast, they will charge you for it!!!Of course, the reservations in it change and you dont know anything about it..and sometimes you have to wait for a long time until you receive the room..and most rooms have two beds..There is a brother named Islam who is very polite and tries to please everyone.I hope from my heart that the hotel management will develop and solve all the defects and reservation problems .. because it is really the best place to live and directly on the Nile.
