The hotel disappointed me. First of all, food that was not only boring but just plain bad and caused me stomach problems. Secondly, service - so far in Egypt I have always been delighted with the service to guests, but not at the Novotel. This, of course, does not apply to everyone, because there were also great people there. I was outraged by the staffs approach to the hotel cat, who had a terrible wound and no one even tried to help him. As guests, we tried to help him as much as we could, but none of the staff showed any interest in him. Are you not ashamed? As for the room, I cant complain. It was large, comfortable, cleaned daily. Beach is very nice.

I had stayed there for 6 nights with my family. The atmosphere of the hotel is very nice especially staff are friendly and helpful starting with reception team are welcoming, Mohamed from housekeeping always surprised us by lovely towel decorations and Mohamed from recreation. Difentely i will come back and i will recommend it to my friends.

1. The buffet is far below average in every way. This included the cleanliness, the quality and variety of food and drinks, but the worst bit was the attitude of the majority of the staff. The chef at the egg station and cheese bar were hostile. One of them was called Kamal he was particularly rude. Generally Egyptians are known to be friendly but not here.2. The rooms are spacious and relatively clean with comfy beds. The rooms were stocked on day 1 with toiletries ( soap, shampoo and shower gel), tea and coffee making facilities but these consumables were not necessarily replaced daily. We had to request them. We also requested shower caps and slippers and were lucky to get them! Other members in our party were not given any.3. The pool is heated but each guest is allowed one beach towel per day!!! This is what the beach attendant told me explicitly because they won’t have enough towels if the guest needed to replace their wet towel! One day I was given a damp towel which was obviously used but folded to look new because it was the last one.Pros:My wonderful friends who made the stay enjoyable despite all the above.All in all there’s no way this hotel is 5 stars. I will write to Novotel because we assumed that there will be certain standards being a Novotel hotel which were non existent at all and neither myself, nor my friends will stay in this hotel ever again. In fact we will think twice before staying in any Novotel hotel in the future

I was here for a week in January 2022 with my family. We really enjoyed hotel and staff. The hotel has a nice beach and offers a plenty of entertainment for kids and adults. The staff is super friendly and ready to assist with different requests. I recommend this place

Very good hotel, rooms are comfortable and clean, very good service of house keeping, very good service at the restaurant (I think are necessary more fruits, like banana, apple, strawberries, watermelon…).They have very kind staff, also animation team so good and funny

Our room was great, quiet, had one huge bed. Food was very good. My only complaint is about the wifi. It kept disconnecting all the time and when it was connected, the speed was really slow, like 200kb/s and one day didnt work all day. When I ask staff on reception, they said its slow because there are lots of guests connected. Seriously?

I liked the Hotel itself. Large clean rooms. Service ok. Acceptable restaurant even if you are vegetarian. To be highlighted: if you want a very fun photo time with excellent results, ask for Rony. A photographer with a lot of charisma. We have enjoyed it very much. And the photos were excellent. On the other hand Spa, another point to highlight. If you want a quality massage and a lot of care, ask for Valía. A charming woman and very professional. And of course the dock they have to enter the sea, is a total success. If you want to enjoy spectacular underwater views, it is the best place. Cons: They tried to charge me quite high price for reparation of shower head that literally fell on my sons head when he was taking a shower. Luckily we were able to reach an agreement.

Excellent hotel! Very comfortable rooms, nice and well maintained. Clean beach, pool, lots of greenery (palms, bushes, flowers). Friendly and helpful staff. Rooms are cleaned every day.The food is delicious, especially meat. There are practically no fruits: only oranges and melons (I did not like them) and few fish (((The animation is very good, they will not let you get bored!The hotel has shops, a pharmacy. You dont have to go anywhere)) The hotel has everything❤️

Good food, each morning stretching by animators really gets the day started in the right way. Pool bar with great bartenders. All other employees very friendly, jokes around all the time. Good atmosphere. Clean rooms.

We have been coming to Egypt for 20 years and have never disappointed in hotels outside of this Novotel. We choose a hotel with a heated swimming pool in December or January, unfortunately there was a problem here, the water was either cold or a little wart and the interventions at the reception improved for a while (a few hours). In addition, you can see that they are saving (after all, its the French Accor group, so there is nothing to expect) - a problem in the rooms with hot water, first it was not there at all, then after the brawl, it was but after 22:00 until the morning there is cold water.Rooms cleaned poorly, but its hardly surprising if a guy has the whole building to service, he wont have enough strength (they save money on staff). You can see further savings, be it in the garden or in technology (non-stop broken elevators, work for a while, not anymore) - comparing to Jaz Lamaya or Hilton Nubian, which we have visited in previous years, you can see the difference to the detriment of Novotel.Meals and drinks were normal, the dining room was worse, the outside terrace was not covered so it was windy (it was enough to put on a 5m foil and it would be great.The Christmas Eve dinner was also a failure. We never had to pay extra for it because it was included in the price in previous hotels, then it suddenly turned out that you have to pay extra. It is not about the surcharge but the mere fact of surprising guests, it is not fair.The animators who were nice and helpful, who improved the mood in this neglected place were a big plus. Anyway, all the hotel staff were nice and tried hard what they could do when the decisions are up to the management.It is definitely not a 5 * hotel, at most 3.5 *. We will not come here for the second time and we will not recommend it to anyone we know.

The location of the resort is good, not too far from Marsa Alam International airport. The resort is clean and rooms are of a good (but not 5*) standard. Numerous bars and activities on site and the staff were very good.Unfortunately the food in the restaurant was that of 1-2* establishments on the red sea of Egypt and needs major improvement.

This my 4th stay at Novotel Marsa, it made our Vacation a remarkable one once again, Staff is the main assets that Novotel already has. all the property facilities are always ready and properly operable.

- a great place to lay down everything behind.- Perfect service, staff and food quality.- has a good pools and big wide beach.- rooms are designed modern style and perfectly clean.- the only con is its location .. its too far from the airport or the city.

This is not my first experience with Novotel, but the experience in Marsa Alam is different.. The place is affiliated with Al-Qusayr and close to it and also close to the airport. I did not talk about the service because it decreases and increases from time to time according to the season, but the staff are mostly nice and treat them respectfully.. The swimming pool is rather small What is suitable for children and young men and the sea is very close and has a marina and you can do snorkeling at your own risk The only drawback of the beach is the lack of the possibility of swimming on the beach because it is rocky but at the end of the marine it is possible to swim and snorkel as well.

Good animation team, I like to play valleyball, stretching, ping pong, darts. It’s a really good reef, short road to the sea, clean beach. Not to much choice in the food

Good place for someone who seeks calmness. Place not crowded, staff trying to support you, not annoying. Animation teams is so terrible that thats an added comic value in itself. It is a very windy region, for snorkeling its best to leave the compound and head towards Utopia around 40 mins walk and enjoy the coral there. Food here was ok, i have serious food restriction, staff tried their best to support me even though they did not have to. Cleanliness as for Egypt was OK, I think there should be more information about the fact that first 200 meters from the beach inside the sea is coral and it should not be walked on. There is a sign that people should not walk on coral but I feel that foreigners do not realize that whatever is in the water just off the beach is already coral. So they go on it and lifeguards spend their day whistling like match referees and shouting to unaware foreigners to leave the water.The only way to enter water is through 200m long pier, open from 7am to 6pm. This comes certainly with bruises and scratches. Beach itself is clean, calm, relaxing, infrastructure good, and the photo model camel called Mickey Mouse is well feed and well treated. For calm relaxing time, especially for family is a good choice, not loud, not overcrowded, a lot of Egyptians on holidays there, everyone taking care of his own business.

We visited the hotel on December 4-11. Everything is really great. The area of ​​the hotel is very large and tidy. We paid for a better room upon arrival and were not really disappointed. The rooms were tidied up every day, and we still found surprises in the room (elephants bent out of towels, etc.). The food is good and varied. I’m not a fan of fish dishes, but the fish was fanatical every time. An Italian restaurant is available once per visit. It’s a shame we only visited last night because the food was amazing. There were show performances every night. The sea - the beach is very big, you can dive from the bridge (you really dont have to go anywhere else, because the corals are impressive). Separate boarding for anyone who wants to dive, or for children. A full body massage left me speechless at all. We went to repeat 3 more time. I also celebrated my birthday on the trip, so I was very surprised by the hotel’s surprises. The Italian restaurant was decorated with garlands and balloons. At the other bar I was greeted like that with balloons, jellies, cake. We visited Epiphany 5 times and I can safely say that this hotel was the best. Huge thanks to Abdel Naby, who works in an Italian restaurant, animators Walid and Mody, and Ahmed a bartender. And all other staff. We had a wonderful trip with you!

We had a great stay at Novotel Marsa Alam. The hotel is great, the food is great and the people are very friendly. The rooms are big and clean.The animation team is very friendly, except for Mody, who was always pushing us to give him a good review. After 2 times that we refused, he still kept pushing us every day again and he got irritated when we kept saying no.The nice guy from the perfume shop (Fady) is so friendly and kind. We were a bit sick and he gave us herbal tea every day until we were better. He also explained about Egyptian history and Egypt in general. We really like him a lot. He made us feel very welcome and calm.

The Service and stay where excellent.The food and service were excellent I enjoyed every moment at this place the best three days I’ve ever stayed in a resort.It was enough swimming pool actually so many swimming pool and mini bar drinks so the drinks and food is too much.Above all the security is very very good you have a security but you don’t feel that you are secureSo it is in a plain English that you are very secure you’re not bothered by anyone and and I wish to come back again and again thank you.

About hotel: this place become home to me for 1 month. What I can say: its A quote good hotel especcialy in price/quality rate!Good rooms with A big size (more sq.m compare other hotels)Food: its not A big choise, but everytime you have something to eat and its very taste. In 1 month I hadnt any problems with stoma (its very important in Egypt)Animation: I expected no activities at all, but here is abimation program, some action in the Day and evening/night. Big thanks to animation team: they are overhead in what thay do. The problem is that hotel management doesnt Care about tech equipment (problems with microphones, bad sound quality). Management need to do something becouse its unacceptable for Novotel brand.But thanks for the animation team, thay try to do maximum (I really think so)Staff: Thank for all they team! The are really kind, helpful and they are spirit of the hotel. I felt very comfortable with them. Its important too.As a resolution: its a real good hotel (price quality) for quiet stay of for fun with company (you need equip yourself by soundspeakers and duty free alcohol)P. S. I enjoyed the hotel a lot. I had a really pleasant stay. It took me only 5 minutes to get to the beach where I could watch beautiful fish. Food was great, but we hoped to find more fruit. Animation was wonderful too. If you are looking for a peaceful and relaxing vacation, dont miss your chance to come here.

When we arrived to reception at novotel hotel, everybody was kind. The recptionist were quick in giving us room. The hotel is superb.

Overall it is a good hotel, most of the staff are kind and helpful especially Ahmed Aljazzar and Adel from the restaurant staff.Pros:1. Good value for money2. Room service is excellent3. Has a small kids area, it is really small but nice to have one4. The restaurant has a great sea viewCons:1. Food was delivered many times without being hot enough2. Some staff act sharp and silly3. WiFi is not stable and with low bandwidth4. The overall service is worse when the hotel is fully booked than how it was when it was less crowded.

Overall you will enjoy your stay if you are looking for relaxation and quite vacation.Lets start with the positives, hotel facilities are great, pools are clean and well maintained. Rooms are very modern and tidy. Animation team is very active and provides nice shows, especially fire show by Mohamed crush .For the nigatives, food is average, (salads and bakery ) are even below average and some times tasteless. Most of the restaurant staff are unfriendly and not smiling and the service is really bad. If the food is big deal for you then you will not like it there.For the location the hotel is far from Marsa Alam (110 km) as it is considered very near to Qussier.Like most of Marsa Alams hotels, beach is rocky however snorkeling is absolutely amazing and the coral reef is colorful and full of marine life.

Nice views, spacious rooms, cozy lounge bar.Minuses:1. Sunbeds at swimming pools - at 8 everything is taken :)2. Meals - vegetables (tomatoes, salad, cucumber, carrot... Thats everything. Fruit - even worse: melon, orange, grape...3. Room we received was not prepared. No towels, safe closed, sink leaking, mirror-lighting doesnt work.4. Internet - doesnt work or work at ~40kbps...5. Drinks - glasses only in lounge bar or at the restaurant (if anyone proposes you - there is no bar).I strongly do not recommend.

One of the worst hotels Ive ever been to the stuff are rude we came at 12 and didnt go to rooms until 3. The food is badand there is no variety and not that it will make difference except for the italian restaurant. The snacks are so bad too. The towels cannot be changes unless u order it which Ive never seen in any other hotel. I booked a 3 beds room and after i came they told me that they dont have this here and gave me a babys bed. The sea is only the marina in deep and no shallow water and they told us there is no guard here which is ridiculous. The house keeping are so rude they didnt change my towels even though they were dirty and i called them to change the towel and the pool towels the man whom they sent told me i told you to give them to me while i was cleaning your which wasnt possible cuz i was in the pool and he told me that the dirty towel got an unremovable stain which i didnt really get how to put a stained towel for your guests. Aboslute rude staff and not exprienced at all in any thing. Not recommended at all.

My phone was stolen at the hotel and I spent half the duration of my stay trying to locate it. The cameras did not show the incident, although I was in a public area when the incident happened that should have been well surveyed by cameras. The phone was also instantly locked after it was stolen which alludes that the incident was premeditated. So, safety-wise, this is not the safest place you can stay in.

(First day lunch was taste bad)• at breakfast:: the pastries not fresh sometimes it was be from two days before.• at dinner: there is no fresh or different food just some kinds from lunch.• at all times there is no fruits!!!!!! Just few pieces feom oranges (looks yucki!!)• just one type of deserts all days all the time• about meat in all kinds of food tasting very bad i dont know they get it from where?• tables not cleaned properly between meals.• 95% from the staff dont care to any egyption they are caring just for foreign i dont know why!!• today my fifth day in the hotel and we are so regret to book here it will be the first and the last time.• we went to taba,dahab,hurgada and sharm elsheikh for several times to different hotels and we didnt saw that before.But the good things was* the place too relaxing, good view.*pools,rooms & beach cleanning well.* receptionist and room service was friendly.

Unfortunately it wasnt a good experience in this hotelWe arrived at 11:30 am and checked in at 2:30 pm !!!!Rooms are well furnitured but not clean enough, we found ants on the bed !!Starting from the staff attitude majority of them were significantly unprofessional and not friendly and they didnt deal with with the Egyptians the same while dealing with someone foreignerThe ones who are working in the reception has no idea about how guests must be treated andThe food variety was not that good and also the taste and qualityThe overall hospitality was not satisfying at all and if I am doing to re-visit Marsa Alam again, definitely Novotel will be excluded from my selection list

During 4 nights and 5 days at The hotel, food was good, the land scape and sea side at the end of the marine was fantastic, full of sea live and great coral views, diving or snorkeling at marine side shouldnt be missed just you have to be prepared by your snorkeling tools or for diving you can utilize the diving center at beach side inside the hotel.The hotel has 2 main pools one with par and one withoutThe seaside has one additional bar also the main building have a third barNight parties every night at 10 pmOnly missing the aquapark to be the best.Rooms size above normal housekeeping is good.
