This is by far the best resort/ hotel I have ever stayed in. Beautiful, fantastic staff, beautiful beach and reef. I literally cannot think of anything that could be improved. It’s still Corona time and everything felt super safe but not restrictive. Cannot wait to come back.

We had an amazing stay here in the Mövenpick Resort. The staff was very helpful and extrordinary friendly. The friendlyness was even contagious! The resort and the diving center were very clean and the covid resteictions were always respected! The kitchen and service team fullfilled each of our wishes! The design of the hotel looks so unusual like a fairytale. Very quiet place for recovering after noisy cities. High Quality food and drinks. If you want a quite holidays that’s exactly what you need.

One of the most amazing hotels across the Egypt Red Sea coast. Quiet place, with an outstandingly high level of service, having both sand and coral beach, professional diving spot, delicious and high quality food. I dont have any single cons for this hotel. For sure one of the best Egypt hotels these days!

We returned to the Mövenpick Resort for the fourth time for a diving vacation. As always in the past, the stay was great. What is really important to us and outstanding in Mövenpick is good food that does not make you sick. It is really difficult with a European stomach in Egypt. But in this resort, we never had any problem due to the German chef Thorsten. Also this time there were some specialties: the hotel was fully booked and still we had the feeling that we were taken care off, many of the staff greeting us by our name. Finally, we needed an early checkout due to change in travel plans. The reception and reservation staff was VERY helpful in organizing this to our advantage. Thank you, we will return next year.

Perfect getaway hotel. Location is spectacular, an amazing stretch of beach, surrounded by beautiful coral. The design is very well thought out, and feels part of the overall landscape. We throughly enjoyed our stay here, thanks to the staff for the warm welcome and friendly hospitality!

We had a fabulous week-off @ moevenpick resort El Quesir!Very friendly and always helpful stuff in all areas. Clean room, kitchen and toilets. The food excellent and various.Very nice bay wirh a outragous snorkeling area and a lot of activities.We enjoyed the well organized diving centre and the outragged diving spots.Just a perfect week to forget home… we will be back again!

Beautiful location, food above average. We were disappointed about the New Year’s Evening / Silvester celebration, which was very low key, compared to our friends hotel.All of the hotel staff are Egyptian men, which makes it hard for some travel partners to get a room with double bed. We stayed in lower class hotels before - with European Guest Managers - where this issue was handled way better and descreet.

The resort with its perfect style and atmosphere, stuff is really nice and friendly , on the rock cafe is most certainly my favorite spot .. the resort has many activities, so i didn’t need to go somewhere else outside the resort

The hotel is wonderful. Staff and service is super amazing, 101/10. Food 8/10. Cleanliness 10/10. Wifi 8/10. The sea and reefs are 10/10. You can rent an equipment for snorkeling and diving in the divers club on the beach. Great advantage is lack of animation, so animation is 10/10. There is live calm quite music during diners, covers on radiohead and duft punk (What?? Yes!). You can meet hotel guests only in restaurants and on the beach, it seems like you live alone in all the hotel sometimes. Hotel audience is really calm, you won’t meet any mad crazy and loud guests around there. Perfect for relaxation. All in all the hotel is really 10/10

Best vacation I had in years!It was a yoga retreat trip, the place is really cozy and clean with amazing sea view and the staff are really friendly and caring. They really know how to make their guests happy and comfortable. Definitely will go back again and again.

The hoyel is super, I stayed there for 5 days and I will come back again for sure, the staff over there is amazing, very helpful and friendly, the rooms are good neat and clean, the buffet is sligtly limited due to Covid-19 restrictions, but yet still super tasty, the pools are always clean and heated during the winter, if you are going to stay there I would reccomend a full board option to avoid the hight prices of some items, the beach there is very good the reef there is one of the best in the world ammmmaaaaaazzzzing experience under the water. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED

Very calm and nice hotel. Huge territory, quite big and well equipped stylish rooms with terraces, perfect cleaning service. I was now animation which was fantastic to us. Dinners was slightly accompanied with quiet music. And it was a bit of traditional flute playing at top of the rock bar. Beach facilities in good condition. It was a lot of space between them and well protected from sun. Also you don’t need any special swimming shoes because of the sand entrance. Food&beverage service is on the very good level. We were surprised with quality of Wite wine included in a package, it’s not common for Egypt. Meat dishes was absolutely fabulous, but fish usually overcooked. Enough variety of fruits.The conclusion is we are going to come back;)

A really nice hotel with a really bad service. Long service here, terrible alcohol and unfriendly staff. Never book a transfer here - the transfer will not arrive, you will have to get there yourself, but the hotel will still charge you money!

One of the best hotels Ive ever been. Its perfect mix of civilization and wildlife, very vivid sea and nice corals. When arrived, we were greeted Welcome home, and thats exactly the way we felt during the vacation. And yes - food - its top notch. Will surely come back!

Great resort and scenery. The hotel theme is one of a kind with a nubian style. Staff are amazing and food is good. The restaurants are great as well. Beach is a bit small if ur not doing snorkeling or diving. But overall the hotel is different than any other hotel in Egypt

Almost everything was excellent. The staff was friendly, the food was delicious. The only moment which I didn’t like: incredibly high prices in the restaurant (30-40 EUR for buffet in the evening) and SPA treatment (80 EUR per person). The hamam did not work for 3 days while we were here as well as one of the swimming pools.

We spent our honeymoon at this lovely place. The Movenpick Quseir is a beautiful, relaxing, calm resort in the historical cute city Quseir at the red sea. We loved the accommodation here very much and there are a lot of small things letting the place being authentic.Only a small remark: Its unnecessary that the staff wears masks in outdoor areas (beach, pool), especially when its not weard in outdoor places anymore in Switzerland ;)Many Many thanks to Mr. Wael Lamei and the whole staff which are very friendly and know what warm hospitality means. Nice hotel great for diving. Employees are mainly friendly and try to help you, but there are some unmotivated ones as well. Distances between hotel rooms and beach/restaurants can be quite long.

We had a great stay here. The resort is located in a rather lonely place, which was perfect for our holiday. I wouldnt necessarily go there with little kids - other Hotels offer more for families (this also wasnt a bad thing for us). Staff was helpful and nice and they offered a great choice and quality of food and beverages. Overall I would fully recommend this place and hope they will make it through this difficult pandemic time.

Such a great Hotel and Ressort! The staff is super friendly and carrying! The food is great and even during the pandemic they have a great choice of fruits, meat and everything your culinaric heart is looking for.The hygene safety rules of Accor are meticulously followed without being a burden to your holiday experience.

We had a great time here! The setting was great, the beach peaceful and the reef beautiful. The dive shop, though quite expensive, is very well organized. Its great to be able to just take your gear and dive in with your buddy. Staff is always on the pier to help out.Special thanks to Mr. Mahmoud for helping coordinate our babysitting situation. Their regular babysitter was sick, and Mr Mahmoud went above and beyond to make things work. Thanks!

Very nice and pleasant hotel! The rooms are very well equipped and really clean. The staff is very friendly and the food was always tasty. There were different meals throughout our stay and everything tasted really good. There are also a lot vegetarian options available. The beach was always very clean and snorkeling is fun. You can see a lot of fish in the sea. We surely will come back!

We stayed at a few hotels in Marsa Alam area and really liked this one, particularly the excellent fresh food, the friendly service, the amazing beach and the corals for snorkeling. The atmosphere is more relaxed, by default breakfast only included but you can upgrade to half board or all inclusive. Less of the entertainment style show that you get in all inclusive hotels and more of a relaxed atmosphere. Also less people so feels more personal.

Your diving center management is very un professional,not strait forward and cunningall papers presented for diving course where in German.Payment terms are manipulative and illegal.A 2% increase is added on payment by credit card, and when I asked why thy said its fees for any payment by card. Which basically is a fraud for a five star hotel like movenpick diving center to do.

We had a truly lovely stay at Mövenpick Resort El Quseir! The hotel is perfectly located if you are looking for a unique snorkeling or scuba diving experience since the reef in front of the hotel is everything you can wish for. The rooms are clean and spacious, the food is amazing (every day, there is a different buffet offering a great variety of dishes) and the staff is more than friendly. We felt comfortable and welcome the minute we arrived. The hotel’s employees always try to make your stay as perfect as possible. I would definitely come again!

Even from upon arrival the resort screams Middle Eastern architecture. It made me insanely happy, it is absolutely gorgeous!! The resort is outstanding with a killer view of the ReD SeA!! Clear turquoise water with mesmerizing corals. The staff and the chefs were so so polite! I enjoyed the buffet, and the rooms are good too! The bed was comfy, we hung out by the cute balcony too. The bathroom shower kinda had me confused as to the design, I feel like they should’ve made it a bit lower / deeper unto the ground because when I came out from my shower, the water had spilled everywhere, so that was kinda annoying. Nonetheless I loved walking through the resort! The mocktails may not be their forte but the ice cream was pretty good 😋!! I still miss the desserts, cheese and bread options!

What really makes this place special is the amazing staff, very welcoming and helpful, they made our trip exceptional. The hotel itself needs some renovation, its not luxurious. However theres a great spot for snorkeling and swimming.

We had a great stay and felt safe at all times. The staff is well trained in Corona Prevention measures and took great care of all guests. Masks for staff as well as the checking of temperature of guests entering restaurants and bars are very simple but highly efficient measures to reduce the risk of Covid-19 infections without limiting the comfort of your stay.Food and dive centre are both great as well and allow a great dive experience at a fabulous house reef or the surrounding dive sites that can be accessed by bus.

The hotel is beautifully merged with the landscape, which I find to be a true asset. The beach is also very pretty with amazing corals. The rooms are modern and very clean. The personal is so friendly, kind and welcoming. The Gastronomie is also great. I as a vegetarian was in paradise. So many great options and a balanced combination of local dishes with other more European ones. The hygiene standards are also very high. I ate plenty of fresh fruits and vegetables as well as I drank beverages with ice. None of these less careful behaviors has caused any kind of problems

Fantastic location, wonderful resort, not brassy or trashy, but comfortable and with good service and lots of smiles. Food excellent.The only reason I did not give a 10 is that sometimes the drinks service was very slow at tables, both to get the drinks menu and then for them to arrive. Otherwise the service was excellent.Diving is great but no need to go far out or deep if you dont want to.

The hotel is very nice, tidy and clean. The food is awesome (gained 2kg) - thanks to the German/Swiss? Chief. The lunch and dinner in the Orangerie was always very good, so we didnt even use the vouchers for the other restaurants!The stuff was always helpful and very friendly.The snorkeling and diving experience was great, thanks to Extra Divers.Also very helpful the Austrian customer care lady (Alice) - good to have a native speaker for all the small things to check.

We never visit the same hotel twice but for this one we decided to make an exception. This is our 2nd stay (8 months apart) and we already booked our 3rd at Mövenpick El-Quseir. This speaks volumes about how much we enjoy our time here.The resort is located directly on the wonderful Quadim bay, between sandy mountains and the deepest blue seas. The resort blends in with the surrounding nature due to its construction in the Nubian style and it includes about 250 rooms distributed in a group of stone-clad houses with high vaulted ceilings in atmospheric style.As soon as we entered the hotel, we were greeted with a nice hibiscus cold tea and were invited to have breakfast till the room is ready (we arrived a lot earlier than we were supposed to). Check in was fast and smooth thanks to Mohamed from the hotel’s front office.The room is ample and spotless and it has absolutely anything you need for a comfortable stay. Comfortable bed and electricity plug next to each bedside so you don’t have to worry about charging your phone, but the bedding desperately needs an upgrade as sheets, pillows and duvet cover definitely show signs of wear and felt harsh on the skin.There is a mini bar in the room but take notice that beverages come with an extra charge. Bathroom is equipped with a nice hot shower cabinet, hairdryer, fluffy towels, toiletries and a huge mirror (and a small magnifying mirror).Housekeeping was impeccable, everyday room was cleaned, bed made, towels changed, two small water bottles, toiletries and tea/coffee were replenished.I really liked that they changed their pool towels system, so now we can use cards to get the towels directly at the pool. The old system of leaving the towels at the room was not very convenient.Breakfast was delicious with a very fine quality but after the 3rd day it became repetitive. The dinner was the best we had in a hotel in Egypt. It’s not the average items you normally find at all inclusive hotels, but the buffet rather had many tasty offerings and a different theme every night, we particularly enjoyed the international night. Ice cream was only available on Sundays though and it was Nestlé not Movenpick’s, I hope they change that! Unfortunately, we weren’t very fond of their desserts menu and felt they lacked quality and creativity.The hotel follows the half-board international standards, that means beverages (even water) at dinner are against extra charge.If you book half-board or AI you will get two vouchers per stay to try Al Fresco and Seagull restaurants, but you need to reserve each visit in advance. Seagull was perfect in every aspect specially staff, they were all delightful. Unluckily, dinner at Al Fresco was average at best and the chairs were super uncomfortable that we didn’t enjoy our dinner and couldn’t wait till it was over.The beach and the house reef are one of the best in Egypt hands down! The water was refreshing but warm enough to make swimming enjoyable, scenery is beyond breathtaking and weather in September was AMAZING!What makes the place a paradise on earth is the staff. Every single one in the resort is polite, experienced, attentive, friendly and very professional. The whole resort is very well managed.In short words, Mövenpick El Quseir is a unique oasis of Egyptian charm and Swiss efficiency.

We had a wonderful time at the Mövenpick El Quesir. The staff is absolutely lovely (special thank you to Gaber who looked after us perfectly!) dive centre and house reef stunning, relaxing massage and delicious food. The Covid rules are strictly enforced and we felt safe and welcome during our whole stay. We will definitely come back to El Quesir. The best place Ive stayed on the red sea!

We were all in all very satisfied with our stay. The staff is extremely friendly, the rooms and all pubic areas are clean, the food quality is good. A little bit more choise of grilled food at dinner would be excellent.The room we stayed in was rather dark due to small windows and for the adults with the third bed the room was very small.We were very happy with the dive center Extra divers in the hotel and loved snorkelling at the house riff.We will surely recommend your Hotel to others and come again.Thanks for the excellent holiday.

When its a very nice hotel, nice design, nice room not luxurious but more of a basic one. Beach is beautiful with lots of corals and good swimming area with sandy beach. Best to reserve your sunbeds before breakfast but dont leave it more than 2 hours its not fair really and towels will be removed I think. Dinner is really basic we didnt like it, the manger Yasser was really helpful and recommended to try the ala-cart restaurant, so we tried the Italian one and it was delicious.

Very nice resort in El Quaseir. The service was outstanding. The stuff is always kind and helpful. You getting not rooms, but part of the building with lot of space. Roommate clean and the complimentary water is very kind. Drink it and even more to not be dehydrated. The dining is also top of the line, so get ready to gain some kilos during your stay unless you strong enough to resist the perfect cousin. Multiple restaurants are available, in case you want else, than a nude style. Beach is nice with one of the best house reefs in area - if you lucky can see dolphins and whale sharks come to the bay. For pool lovers also OK, since this resort got multiple pools. Additional activities are also available, like horse riding , archery, quad trios to the desert ... just nape it. But the best thing is the Red Sea and the snorkeling and diving. Just visit the Extra Divers diving Center at the other side of the beach.

All together it was nice, our beds are slowly getting used, the rooms were altogether clean even if the toilets were not always very well cleaned and the carpet could have been changed. The waiters are sometimes to familiar with us, they do not understand where their limits are. The food was good but there was never enough salt.

This hotel is magnificent! The beach is amazing and the corals are very pretty with lots of fish. You will love snorkelling there.The staff are beyond professional very helpful and friendly. I would like to thank Mr. Wael from the reception and Mr. Shazly from recreation who made sure that our stay is smooth.I highly recommend this hotel to anyone who would like to visit El Quseir. Also Marsa Alam will be 2 hrs away for outside trips.

The stay was very pleasant, the the resort is beautiful, the beach is well taken care of and thought of, the rooms have been renovated, which gives them a fresh and clean look. The service in the restaurant used to be more prompt, it sometimes took quite some time for the dishes to be taken away, and the system with coffee in the morning sometimes took a long time. We would certainly recommend the resort and hope to return.

Great resort, right size, collected and quiet.Very good beach, spacious and pleasing to the eye with its peculiar curve.Very nice reef, specially 40-50 meters offshore (no turtles in this part of the coast, you need an excursion). Pier for diving. Specific entry from the shore for all others (strictly forbidden accessing in the water anywhere else, because of corals).Precise and accommodating staff both in reception and various restaurants.Very good food (and Im italian) and its really rare here in Egypt.Recommended for those people seeking tranquility and relax. No evening shows.Rooms always well cleaned and especially safe with an honest staff.Riding school under payment.Suggests:allow the choice of double or single bed at the booking to avoid room changes on site;make more evident on the site the presence of a fabulous, modern gym and two tennis courts;allow the use of the table tennis and biliards also in the late noon/evening (maybe with more lighting and shelter) especially in winter when the sun sets early.Very good experience

We were delighted, especially recommended for activities like diving and snorkelling. The access to the sea for swimming is kept narrow. For this one is compensated with an appropriate underwater world. Despite good occupancy of the hotel, we never had the feeling that there were too many people, it was very well distributed in the wide open spaces of the complex. No crowds are on deck chairs or at the buffet.

Great layout and truly beautiful location and swimming, snorkeling, diving. Water is crystal clear. Amazing staff cant say enough. Highlight of my stay. However amenities were okay, they looked great but too oftenhard to book and figure out. Food at buffet was very good but at the restaurants it was a terrible rip off. Avoid at all costs and eat at the buffet. The flies are merciless, they will ruin your sleeping, eating and beach experience and they detract from the whole experience.

A very friendly well run hotel. The room we had was a little dated but very clean and well serviced. The gardens are lovely and the whole resort well looked after. The food is excellent. Our only slight problem was with the fishermans hut. We expected a restaurant but it was more an experience. Not to our taste. Fantastice house reaf which is carefully protected. Accessible straight from the beach makes the reaf ideal for all abilities.

The hotel was perfect for us and the staff should be applauded and duly rewarded for their dedication and attentiveness. My only suggestion would be to reduce the cost of alcholic drinks. I am not sure why you charge more than a UK city centre establishment paying higher rates and wages. I would have liked to enjoy a cocktail or occasional drink but could not justify the extortionate cost charged by the hotel. This is why I score you 9 instead of 10. Traffic noise was a problem on some days but that is out of your control. Food was excellent.

Everything was wonderful. The Seagulls restaurant was average but the daily buffet was great. Hotel is very COVID safe and many precautions are taken.

We love staying here !!! Now in those strange days this hotel is great because it’s so well done to keep it secured against covid !! Everything is desinfected !!The staff has masks on and the clients only have a mask when they are in reception or in the restaurant!! We all eat outside and we don’t touch the food. You just see the food and you tell the staff what you want for breakfast and they give it to you!! For dinner you choose your menu and you are served at your table were you don’t wear your mask no more !!! Everywhere you can desinfect your hands, get a new mask!!!You can also do a PCR-Test in the hotel before going back home. Very easy to do !!! It’s just excellent, the hotel, the room, the food, the diving, the transfert, the weather and especially the staff !!Really a must to do on your bukkett-list !!!! We had a very pleasant and relaxing stay at the Movenpick El Quseir Resort. The food and service was very good particularly in the A La Carte restaurants. We enjoyed the peaceful and natural location of the resort. Our room 1103 was very comfortable although the air conditioning was not so good during the second day when there was a hot north easterly wind.The resort grounds are extremely well maintained although there is a problem with tar on the beach which is almost impossible to see and avoid which meant we had to remove the oil from our feet each evening.One other downside is the extremely high mark-up on all drinks. For example the retail price of a 500 ml Stella is currently EGP 19.00 in Egypt but with 14% VAT and 12% Service the resorts price amounts to some EGP 100.80 per bottle. While I agree that the cost of transport has to be factored in this is an exorbitant price by Egyptian standards.

The hotel is very nice, especially all the staff was wonderfull! Great architecture, great gardens. great Orangerie-cooking. the food in orangerie was wonderful. the food in Al fresco and in Seagull was not good. we did not understand how the food can be so good in Orangerie and so boring and untasty in the a la carte Restaurants. next time i will only eat in the orangerie.thanks for great overall service in the Hotel.the rooms are very nice , and the beds are wonderfull. the best Hotelbed i ever had, very very cosy.the road that passes by the beach is sometimes a bit loud. we hope that the new road that seems to be build more away from the beach will relax the road passing the hotel :-)hope to come back!!!

Whatever you search, youll find it there. Recommended for a period of 7-9 days. Snorkeling (big house reef), diving (extra divers), and a lot of other sports. Friendly service staff. Awesome high quality food every day with changing topic for dinner. Perfect fitted rooms in nubian style arranged in small houses like a village.Relaxed at all.

The Movenpick resort in El Quseir enjoys an exceptional location on the coast, with stunning preserved coral reef which allows for very enjoyable snorkeling. The property is very beautiful and graced with hundreds of superb palm trees, well-trimmed hedges and green lawns. However, the distances between the lodgings and the restaurants or beach are quite far. Be prepared to walk distances. April is not an ideal time as it may get extremely windy for days on end.About the hotel :The hotel is well staffed, well-equipped and well kept, with nice gardens and superb buffets. Everyday there is a very impressive choice of foods to suit the most demanding gourmet. Eating on the terraces with see and pool view is very nice but lots of small flies may convince you to retreat indoors.Our lodging enjoyed a very nice ample well-designed adjacent bathroom. It’s a pity, however, the sleeping room was so dimly lit and the duvet cover too thick for the season. There is a need for an extra window closets.Somewhat dull and pale decoration and paintings in the main building areas lack the character one might find in other arabic countries such as Morocco.I cannot comment on the atmosphere amongst clients at the hotel as it was virtually non-existent. Nobody seems to mingle. Everyone sticks to themselves. Most clients appeared offstandish like they expect you to leave them alone. Come prepared and bring your own party.The hotel staff is numerous and helpful. Employees are ready to help but it seemed a put on act. Most are really obsequious. While most people would enjoy this, we did not.To end on a excellent note : the beach is amazing: well-kept, superb sand, ample umbrellas. Beach service with food and beverages is readily available. Amazing snorkeling only meters away. Beware of scorching sun.

Admittedly, the resort has something extra.The structure, the location, the bay, the beach, the sea and the coral reef and the whole landscape are enchanting.Add to this the very good food and the kindness of all the staff, without exception.Impossible not to always returns willingly.

Super nice staff. The rooms are cleaned everyday really nicely. Bathrooms are perfectly clean and have all important features need for all your needs. The food in the restaurant is awesome quality and waiters are really sympathetic and quick. Recommend this place a lot.

This hotel is our second home , for me and my husband; in last July it was 10° time we came in Movenpick to El Quesir. We love this place so much for the sea, for the amazing private beach that is directly on the one of the best reef we sow in many years in Egypt. The services, the staff, the rooms, the cleaning, the international food ... all is very good. and we also love that there is no animation or very very little and we love that because we search relax and peace in summer and here is a little paradise. Perhaps it could be better the wifi system in every parts of di Resort and the air conditioning system in the rooms: some time this year, we found the room or too cold or too hot and we were not able to set the conditioner in a good way.

Food at the beach was awful we changed it few times and came wrong - simply fish and raw - fried seafood food was tasteless. Staff was kind and friendly though.Dinner Buffet has very limited varaity - no poultry at all - no good meat - very low and poor quality fish were available - all hot food was tasteless.Bath - tap water was smelly all over the hotel - ( smells literally like Diesel) when I talked to reception they said it’s water station which I don’t accept an execuse in a Movinpick hotel.I puked all the dinner after all.The property is nice, staff is nice however it’s not a MovPc hotel, it need lots of attention.Regards,Mo Rayan

Been in the resort the 5th time - last time was 12 years ago. Many things really aged and are not state of the art any more. The Nubian Suite we lived in is been told to be the flagship of the resort ... old sunbeds and not closing doors, many ants everywhere and old furniture is not what we expected for > 200$/nightOn the resort there are some places that urgently need a refurbishment too - like the multi-purpose court, this looks like a junk-yard - what we haven`t seen 12 years ago when even the fences of the tennis court had been polished shiny.The staff is divided: 50% are extremely friendly and helpful - highlight is the kids care with Saffah - such a nice nanny for our daughter - we want to take Saffah with us to Germany.On the other hand there some staff members who are not too motivated - and please tell the drivers not to drive like F1 Pilots on the road from ElQuseir to Hurghada (we met many guests who complained about the hell-trip)The Diving base is a little bit disappointing, the change from Subex to Extra divers has not improved the quality. However, the house-reef is still one of my favorite dive spots.The beach still is a little bit noisy, a wall between the street and the beach would be a good idea.On the beach some the umbrellas and wind-shelters are old and rusty - like in many places a little bit of painting would work wonders.Best of all and outstanding is the food - in many many vacations in so called 5-6 Star resorts I did not experience any thing that is coming close to the delicious food served here. Especially the local cuisine served in the restaurants is unbelievable good.Summary:Food: 6 Star - excellent - outstanding - fantasticRoom: Nubian suite disappointing - old furniture - ants - old sunbeds (for >200$ night!)Resort: Lot of work to do .... replace sunbeds, take some color for painting old and rusty equipment and then it would be one of our favorite places in the future again.Staff: 50 / 50

We are return visitors and spend our holiday the 10th time in the Moevenpick El Quseir. We are very satisfied with the service, comfort and food. The only point of criticism is the new price pricing. So we are divers and we always used the sauna after diving in the winter month - usually only for one sauna passage. After the renovation work in summer/autumn 2019 the sauna is no more included in the price, and 15 €/dollar for each person is too expensive for one sauna passage. So we dont know if we would visit the moevenpick resort farther in the winter month, because we had to add a few hundred euro only to feel warm after diving. Too bad.

We enjoyed a lot for a second time and will certainly come back. we`ve been told that the spa and recreation center will be renovated and be part of the hotel...that will be wonderful to have good quality in massage and beauty after diving....staff so friendly...really good identification with the Mövenpick family....all inclusive a bit too expensive in our opinion..otherwise everything perfect

Very bad and expensive.LocationThe hotel is situated directly on a motorway that goes along the coast and connects Marsa Alm with Hurgada and other coastal towns. The road is heavily frequented by trucks supplying local construction sites. The beach in particular is affected by noise and exhaust fumes. The beach only borders on the side of the hotel grounds. Its length is directly adjacent to the busy road. The distance between the last beach chairs and stinking and honking Egyptian trucks is just 30 meters. There is no noise protection fence, only a privacy fence and a few bushes.Nowhere on the Internet you can find a hotel map. Not without reason. I have attached the plan to my report.Power supply in the region is not reliable. The hotel therefore uses its own power generator, which burns kerosene. This generator is located directly behind the reception and runs 24 hours a day. It is very loud and produces deep noise around the clock. Especially in the evening and at night when a lot of electricity is consumed by the lighting and air conditioning, it is especially loud. The windows and doors in hotel rooms are old and do not protect from this noise. Depending on the wind direction, this noise can be heard everywhere in the hotel. It also smells like kerosene.At the demanded prices, the absence of a noise protection fence and the loud and smelly electricity generator, which stands without any protection simply in the middle of the hotel, is from my point of view an insult to all guests.The staff is very badly trained. The work is avoided. For example, if you ask for an extra spoon, it takes 20 minutes until something happens. If you order a tea, you get a coffee and vice versa. If you have a problem and want to clarify something at the reception, then you have to come later or wait 1 hour, because the responsible manager is in the meeting / further education / etc..Many employees at the reception also have trouble speaking English. German is not spoken at all. Not a single woman is occupied in restaurants, entertainment or housekeeping. Only Arabic men who also like to approach younger female hotel guests. Personnel is basically in a bad mood and not service-oriented.Food is ok. we could enjoy breakfast. Lunch and dinner are rather boring. And be careful with the fish dishes. I have a food poisoning after a cooked fish dish.The house reef is beautiful. My husband could use the diving school well.Apart from absolute rush hours the hotel is half empty. No wonder with the high prices and other facts.

I enjoyed my stay alot at this resort. the room was very cosy. I liked the heated pool and the food was excellent. What can be improved would be better lighting in the room and having a kettle

Very good service and friendly staff. Clean and nice resort. Good to very good food - always enough food in the buffet/pots. Just the dessert was to much repeating and rather from average to good quality.The all inclusive card/choice for the drinks is not satisfying. And why is it not allowed to take drinks to the beach? Why is there no snack bar at the beach for all inclusive? We stayed all day at the beach and did not use the included snacks because they are only in the Serena bar available.The generator for electricity is far to loud for many bungalows nearby - consider to move it to another place. We moved to another bungalow because of the generators noice and hat to pay 15 Euro more per day to have a more quiet but also a smaler room. Thats not really OK especally because it was low season and we were surprised that we were only offered to change to a room (with a masterbed) with an upgrade.

Holiday resort right in front of the Red Sea coral reef! The resort is well kept, clean easy to orientate very kind personnel international cuisine. Perfect if you are a scuba diver, the resort has its own center which offers dives for every level and thanks to a long dock you can dive directly beside the reef without the need for a boat.

Wonderful beach and landscape. High cleanliness stander. Helpful and professional staff. Breakfast is very special. I had to stay longer to enjoy every facility .Thanks to the whole staff members. We will be back again for sure.

We are already the fourth year guest of Mövenpick and were again delighted to find this place very recommendable because of the beautiful surrounding, the excellent service in all parts of the resort, the good food (even though we were sometimes missing more condiments/Würze) and the very familia, well educated and polite attitude of all the hotel crew. The diving (which we did not try) seems to be very interesting and the diving teachers make a very professional impression.

My orded room was excelent . In the Orangerie was the selektion of the food very great ... !All the day , breakfast-buffet , lunch and dinner-buffet are super .the service are all very friendly . The beach is very well looked after . the way into the red sea isvery easy ; to snorcel at the coral reef !All in all a nice place for doing holidays !
