We have been here many times and this time was the best! We were welcomed like family. The whole hotel feels like coming to our second home! The food was amazing, the rooms are clean and comfortable and the staff are so friendly. There is an amazing house reef for snorkeling and 3 swimming pools. Cant wait to come back!

We had a wonderful stay in December 2021 at Solymar Reef. The hospitality of the staff impressed us, beginning from the receptionists, room cleaners, barman, animation team and ending with the restaurant waiters - all were exceptionally kind and always at our service.Special thanks to the restaurant chef especially for a variety of desserts, which were fresh, delicious and prepared with love. We liked baklava so much that even bought some from the restaurant and brought them home ❤️The territory, although small, is well-kept, the pools clean, the beach is beautiful and the coral reef is amazing!Another plus is that the hotel is about a 20-minute drive from the airport.

Very good hotel! Most of all I liked the large area, lots of greenery, pleasing to the eye. Entertainment on a wonderful conditional, responsive staff. A free water park on site is something I should stay here for. We advise! . Housekeeping good

This resort has been the best resort I have ever stayed in. The staff, was by far amazing. There are no words to describe how at home I and my family had felt. I have a 16 month old baby and she is a picky eater, the chef and kitchen staff made accommodations and cooked certain dishes to her liking. My husband requested a few dishes he wanted to try and the next day at lunch time the chef had them all on display. Everyone including the chef, kitchen staff and hotel staff were constantly asking if we needed anything or any food, drinks, or towels. Food was excellent, they have a huge variety of food in their buffet. Breakfast, lunch and dinner AND snacks were just perfect. The hotel room, bathrooms and entire resort was super clean and beautiful. I highly recommend this place to anyone and everyone. My family and I will definitely be coming back to this resort. I am so pleased with our stay that I’d give this place not even a 5 stars but a 10 star rating. Thank you Solymar for this beautiful experience!

Excellent stay. Really, just really amazing!In addition to this- A LOT of small tiny details that make your vacation great. Cleaning is super. Towel service - perfect! Clean beach towels are delivered to your room every evening!Reception is very helpful. We asked for a breakfast to go in the day of check out, and it was prepared for us.Beautiful territory. Buildings and rooms are well maintained. Food is delicious and various. I was able even to find healthy options. Not only deep-fried😄Several pools with different temperature.Also you can use (some of) the infrastructure of all the hotels nearby as they are of the same chain. So this loooong beach is so nice for promenade, walking, running, taking pictures or choosing the best place for sunbathing. Solymar also has its own swimming place (long peer to go further and swim deeper than corals). not every hotel of the chain owns it.We also visited a nice lagoon which is 10mins walk by promenade. Perfect snorkeling!!! Dolphins come sometimes! Corals are wonderful! It is open all the time despite any wind, because it’s a quiet small windless bay👍Animation is fun and not annoying - which is very important! All the staff just do their job very well and don’t bother you if not necessarily. They are not obsessive and very kind.Water Park was included in our stay. Have you even been to a hotel with free Aqua Park?! I know they exist, but the price is higher. And I mean, not just 2-3 slides and a couple of pools, but a REAL, not huge, very decent park to spend around half a day! We’ve been there 3 times. Slides are open with different schedule, so make sure to come before and after lunch as well.A big thanks to the entire hotel team (and especially Omar cleaning guy) for making our vacation so pleasant and unforgettable!If there just could be something to mention to help you to become even more perfect… oh, the doors. They are so heavy (high-quality and very expensive wood I guess), so I could barely move some of them😄 please use some oil to get rid of creaking sound 😉

We had an amazing stay,snorkeling is superb, 2 decks with surveillance allow you to swim on the corals with 1 million colourful fishes, one on the bay and one on the reef.We did scubadiving with Scubaworld (6 certified dives) the staff is really kind and helpful and the guides were really nice.Food is good and changes everyday,design of the hotel is nice (dinner room is a little sad but everything else is good).You can go around all the Jaz hotels it makes a big area.I dont recommend taxi with the commercial at the hotel, the prices were not fair.

Perfect place for relaxing and calm holidays. Well come back!We really felt in love with this Hotel and its staff. We had a warm welcome and felt like home from the first second.First we have to say that the food is very very good. This is very important for us in our holidays. The food is fresh, the taste is very good and you have many different meals. In two weeks the food didnt become boring. You will always find something you never tried before. Also the beach Bar had very good food. We loved the Burgers, Pizzas and Pastas. They prepare it fresh when you place your order. Its so yummy.All of the Staff (Barkeepers, waiters, roomboys, gardeners, chefs, managers and the animation team, Tour Guides, Taxi Service, Dive Center, Quad Safari) were very friendly, polite, honest and funny. we had a lot of fun with them.The Hotel itself is very charming and cozy. Its not that big and this is what we like. You feel like home away from home. After a few days you know everybody from the staff and they know you. You will have a lot of fun with them and its also a lot of fun to strolling around the beautiful Hotel and the beach. Also the garden is very beautiful. The rooms are spacious and clean with a nice balcony. The Hotel is well maintained. You have a Poolbar, a Beach Bar and a Lobby Bar. Billard, Kicker and Tabletennis is for free. There is also a Animation Team they entertain you the whole day and these guys are so funny. Stretching, Yoga, Aquagym, Volleyball and evening shows. They really did a great job.Also important for us is the reef and the marine life. At the house reef you can see many colorful fishes and corals. When youre lucky you can see turtles, barracudas, lionfish, moray, eagle rays and even dolphins. But the best is if there is a red flag (because the waves are to high) at the house reef you can walk just 7 minutes to Coraya Bay and you can snorkel there.Overall we can say that we had perfect holidays. This was our 7th time in Egypt and this was definetily our best vacation. For sure we will come back. Not only to enjoy the great food, the nice weather, to relax and enjoy the snorkeling. Stayed at Solymar Reef Marsa from 1st to 8th January this year. Made our decision based on review score and recent reviews and it was totally worth it. Territory is well maintained and connected to other hotels of Jazz group so you can explore them as well. There is a spectacular running route along the bay.Can admit very friendly and helpful staff. Animation team were there to entertain us during the whole stay.Food variety is good and every day we had a plenty of choice from vegs to meat. Chef is always there to hear your feedback.Hotel has a very nice coral reef just in front of it. Dont forget to bring a snorkeling gear with you. 10 mins walk to Madinat Coraya and you will enjoy sandy beach with nice chances to meet turtles.Some places worth visiting nearby accessible by taxi:- Mubarak beach for dugongs (wild beach, fantastic animals)- Abu Dabad for turtles (well maintained beach with 9$ entrance fee)Beginning of our stay was a bit windy but sea temperature was ok for swimming. With every next day was becoming less windy and warmer.Will definitely come back to Marsa Alam

The hotel was very good. The staff were very welcoming, helpful and cheerful. The rooms were neat and clean. The pools are big, clean and being taken care of. The animation team and the shows were fun. As for food, it was not bad but I would the hotel to add fresh juices.

Perfect location and one of the best hotels in this destination. High level service, everything is fresh and “in-time”. Hotel provide us with the best program and attractions. Animation team will not give you time to be bored in here

I spent one week with my wife in this lovely place. We like literally everything about this hotel - food is very delicious, mostly European dishes, but there are also local options. Honestly i didn’t expect to enjoy this much. I had a fear of the sea and i managed to overcome it thanks to the help of the diving team.The staff overall is amazing and super friendly. The food and the drinks are great.It was a fun vacation and the animation team was very entertaining!

Now its two weeks were back to reality and still dreaming about our stay in Solymaar Reef Marsa. If youve read all the other positiv reviews, I can tell you, theyre all true and I have not much things to add. We stayed for 3 weeks (end October to mid November) and had a great time over there. The hotel was only occupied by maybe 30% due to Corona so there was enough space for everybody. The hotel itself is very charming and well maintained. Have a look to the pictures on their page, they are not faked. We loved to wander around in the garden or had a walk at the beach. There is a beautiful way around 4 km long and youll pass the other hotels in the bay.We arrived after 9 pm so the restaurant was already closed. Without asking we were served after the fast and friendly check-in some fresh fruits, bread, cheese and saucisse to have a late dinner in our nice and very clean room. Even the hotel was not full, the buffet was every day filled up with different specialties, where everybody could find something to his/her taste. The food changed from day to day and was all well prepared and seasoned. If you had a special wish, they did all they could to fulfil. in the whole 3 weeks we were never bored and found always something we never tried before. In the beach restaurant you have a small menu with only few dishes on but they are all prepared fresh for you the moment you order and...you can imagine...they were all very tasteful.Coming to the bar...even with local spirits, we got delicious and well created cocktails and of course anything else you can imagine. In the main bar was every evening an animation team giving their best to entertain us. Well, done guys. We had a lot of laughs with you.But was is a hotel without its staff? I can tell you, they are the most amazing in this hotel! We traveled to many countries in the world but we never had such friendly, polite, respectful, funny, attentive, etc. personnel as we had in Solymar hotel. Everybody, without exception, did the best they could to satisfy the hotel guests and delivered a service wed never have expected. Bravo! Id like to say thank you to all of you and special to Moustafa and Samy (main restaurant). Karim, Mahmoud and Mahmoud and Mohamed (main bar). Mohamed and Mahmoud (beach bar/restaurant). And for a very outstanding service Taha from the pool-bar (he topped everything).For sure well be back on day to this amazing place.

Everything here is incredible. The hotel is super clean. The reefs are a wonderland we did not need to go outside a lot as the hotel has all what we need. All the staff are friendly to the max. Mr. Saad made sure that our stay is beautiful. The food is super delicious thanks to Chef Saleh and all the restaurant staff who always kept our expectations so high. I have stayed in many hotels all over the world but the food here is exceptional. Moustafa in the lobby bar and Mohamed in the pool bar were very friendly and always smiling back to everyone. The housekeeping also was very attentive to all our requests. Overall this is the place to be for unforgettable vacation, it felt like home away from home ♥️

Perfect place for relaxation with superb beach full of fish and very suitable for snorkeling.. Actually it was a beautiful vacation, and the employees was extremely helpful. There are a lot of activities, so there was no time for Boredom. The meals was on average, and there were a lot of varieties. For example, I am vegetarian, and I was not struggling to eat. However, I enjoyed the meals. The chef also was helpful and made me a vegan pasta. For the animation show, it was exciting. We danced a lot and we watch a magician show and the belly dancer. Thank you Solymor, we enjoyed our vaccination.

Its a good hotel with nice animation, restaurant. The beach is really nice.Has some problems but managers of this hotel try to do them best.

We had an amazing 7 days holiday. The resort was breathtaking, the food was of high quality and with lots of variety. Best hotel in marsa alam thanks to the professional staff and Saad front desk.The food here won’t cause any trouble except gaining weight hahaha, it has the best variety and freshness. Thanks to chef Saleh’s management of the kitchen along with the other chefs, every dish is absolutely delicious, fresh and well seasoned. Its amazing and lots of features main things are that the place beach 🏖️ inside it amazing fish colours. We started our by Calling manager of the reception of hotel and he explained to us the way in amazing way and fast average 5hours when we entered we took our welcome drink and entered the room and it was so clean sea view the next day we were at the beach we so amazing types of fish and we ended it bycheck out . All of it beginning with The staff , every one is friendly and smily ( especially Mr.Saad , Mostafa ,AMR ,Mostafa and Shef Belal) , the rooms were clean and tidy. the water is very clear so bring your snorkeling kit and watch all the fish . The food was great and in variety, great entertainment shows at 9 pm , i had a wonderful time and will definitely come again

Rather small hotel but cosy with nice staff and good food. All you want from Egypt is here, pools, beach and sun :) Recommend for people who doesnt like hudge resort. Very close to the airport in Marsa Alam.

I went there with my friends for the weekend and we had so much fun! The food is good and the drinks are amazing! The beach isnt sandy so u need a shoe but the water is so clear and there are a lot of reefs and fish u can see. They also schedule trips to other beaches for snorkeling and diving. The staff and animation team there are very very friendly especially luka, karim and anna! Also the show every night is very entertaining

Food, Despite the small variety of products, the food is excellent. Every day there is a selection of fresh fruits and vegetables, soups, meats and desserts.Helpful and friendly staff at the reception.Bar service surpassed my expectations - a wonderful man Karim - serves delicious fruity drinks, takes care for all guests, even those sitting on a beach, making sure they have something to drink. Cant thank u enough all for making our vacation super delightful , such a cozy place. from the elite supervisors to the prof. staff. Food, beverage, music taste and specially animation team. Clean, and on point everything was perfect.

Awesome stay!!Huge variety of food and lovely beach but most important were the people from the animation team who were the absolute best. They kept everyone busy, provided us with plenty of programme and activities. Will come back

We really enjoyed our stay ,everything was so great, the food was super, the bar, the beach , the staff,the aqua bark everything was so good we really liked the animation team, they put so much effort to make your stay the happiest possible especially luka who was always gathering us and leading us to the show enjoying what they are presenting . Only the internet speed was really bad thats worth mentioning.
