2 star hotel by western standards, still better than a lot of places in town in Marsa.

We stayed through AirBnB, the room itself was decent and for the money it’s a decent value, however the place was deserted, the facilities not really maintained, there was no real staff to speak of so no one to help or answer questions when needed. The owner although friendly at first was providing us some conflicting information when we were trying to book diving arrangements. Also as mentioned above the location on the map is I correct here.No kitchenette or any amenities. Expect just a room. If you want to go diving maybe best to book through a dive shop directly to avoid misinformation and take any information given by hotel with a grain of salt.

We had a stay through Airbnb. I must say that the hotel is nice, staff was professional, I enjoyed the pool and we had a confi room for good price. But the coordinates in the google maps are incorrect. We could not find the place till some locals brought us there. The contact person on Airbnb was unable to send us GPS coordinates and insisted that the place marked in google maps is correct. I called him like three times and could not get an appropriate information where the hotel is. This really pisses us of. You can tell me hundred times that it is right but if I stay on the place which is marked in google maps as the hotel and it is not there, then IT IS SIMPLY NOT THERE. I do not understand what is wrong with somebody to understand this if you tell him three times. So please be so kind, for your own business good, make this correct and do not try to convince your guests they are wrong if you do not even know how to get and send the GPS coordinates of your hotel. Thank you in advance. Other things were fine so if you are so lucky that you know where the hotel is, I recommend to stay.

This is really a great place to stay. I arrived and in that moment I felt a bit like coming home. Mohamed is a great guy who always wants you to feel relaxed. He supports you whenever he can. Diving was fantastic and I felt really secure going down with Mohamed. He always helped me to improve myself and has been aware of all the divers going down with him. The rooms are clean and very comfortable and theres a great atmosphere at this place.If I ever come back to Marsa alam, Im gonna stay here again.Thank you Mohamed for the great time with you.

Came here from Canada with 7 other women and we had the time of our lives. Our host, Mohamed was very approachable, hospitable and kindly took to our requests when asked. Probably our best host in Egypt.He was also a spectacular diving instructor and in fact, we all are aching to come back. I will never forget such kindness and hospitality. I highly recommend visiting here to dive. None of us will forget it, especially seeing 2 sea turtles, tons of fish and spotted stingray! A highlight was also going to Al-Nayzak rock pool which is just a few minutes south of the hotel. This place was heaven and at one point, we had it all to ourselves.If anyone is even slightly considering visiting Marsa Alam, I couldnt recommend this place more. Mohamed will ensure you are well taken care of.We truly hope to be back someday... Thanks Mohamed!!!! You have a kindness we will never forget.

This is an amazing quality safe, comfortable, clean place that you can feel at home. Whoever wrote the 1 star has not stayed at the same hotel I did :). Ive been traveling around the world going to different hotels and hostels and this is definitely a place you cant go wrong. Mohamed, the owner is super welcoming and has a nice alive vibe to him. Warm Egyptian welcome. This is a hotel, but not as you would expect. No desk, you have to find the guy working there. No restaurant. Just rooms and the pool. Comfortable and clean room with working aircon and fridge. Great for divers. Budget about €600 for a week of incredible diving Inc. boat excursions and park fees. A few of us also went for a day in Luxor booked through Bob Marley Peace Hostel. A very long day, but worth it. Definitely a place for the more independent traveller. Its not Europe.

Really good place to stay in marsa alam if you are the kind is exploring a lot and just need something clean and comfortable to sleep .very helpful people specially a guy called hamada and the owner mr Mohamed salama ..you have a gym and boxing .Very recommended

Room ok. The rest all very overlooked. Breakfast jam, eggs and frozen bread. The hotel was empty, me and a couple from the Netherlands.Dirty pool not usable, it was cleaned the day we left.

We (PADI Divemaster and Instructor) stayed at the Blue Vision Diving Hotel for 10 nights. So much in advance: It was perfect all around and will be repeated!We stayed in a room with two single beds for the 10 nights. The room was very large, nicely decorated and clean. Even a balcony, TV, air conditioning and refrigerator were available. Since the hotel is quite new, the furnishings were in top shape. So everything is there that you need.The hotel itself has a nice Egyptian-style sitting area (cushions on the floor), a large dining table, buffet for breakfast and a really large pool. In the pool it is also possible to practice skills for a diving license. So perfect for divers or those who want to become one. There are some sun beds around the pool.We liked the fact that the hotel was not a hotel castle, as you usually find it in Egypt, but rather small and familiar. You can quickly get into conversation with other guests of the hotel. The hotel is located near the center of the city of Marsa Alam. The market and restaurants can be reached in 5 minutes on foot. It was also easy to order food in the hotel if you were hungry after diving.We went diving every day during our stay with the owner of the hotel who is a staff instructor. We could choose the dive sites ourselves. If there was a little too much going on in one place, we drove straight to another. Perfect!In terms of price, everything was also much cheaper than in the large diving centers in Egypt. Just ask!We will be back!
