Riding a balloon was a new experience.Try it and you will love.Captain Kareem had a smooth landing ,I enjoyed it very much ,thank you captain Kareem and hos assistants Mostafa and Mahoud.

Its very lovely, a feeling you have to experience, you get to go up to 1Km above the land and see the sun rise over there, Its very safe and quite amusing, strongly recommend.

This was 1 of the highlights of my trip, seeing the 1st sunrise for 2022 from a hot air balloon. It was all a little too chaotic getting everyone allocated to a basket, but once we were in our baskets the flight was amazing. I think that we were very lucky with our pilot Khaled Marghany, as majority of the other balloons went straight up, our pilot gave us a bit of a sightseeing tour flying over Al-Deir Al-Bahari Temple. He was also very good at turning the basket regularly so that everyone got their time for photos with the sunrise.I would definitely recommend making the effort to get on the 1st flight for sunrise, as it was truly spectacular.

Flew over Luxor on Nov. 23, 2021. It was the thrill of a life time.All the balloons in the air, gliding over the temples and tombs of Luxor with the Nile in the background.The sun came up over the East and cast a pink hue on the land.It was so peaceful. We were with friends, taking pictures of each other and just feelingvery fortunate for the experience.The ground team was very professional and made us all feel welcome and safe.Gabriel was our lead person and made sure we were all takencare of with instructions on how to get in and out of the balloon and safety procedures. He was also very professional and kind. His excitement rubbed off on all of us.Our Captain Khalid, was a lot of fun. He pointed out all the interesting structures on the ground.Again, very professional and made us feel very safe.I would highly recommend this company to any one.The thrill and adventure of a life time and worth every penny. Just do it.

Excellent experience. We went by motor boat taxi w guide who picked us upon Nile cruise boat. Then by air con van to balloon launching site. Gabriel and staff were great.Sunrise and temple views were fantastic.

We were somewhat scared to go for a balloon ride in Luxor but the experience turned out to be great. The customer service was fantastic - the person who made the booking for us over the phone was very helpful, the pick-up from the hotel was punctual and the ride itself was excellent with views of the temple and valley of kings.

Sunrise with a dozen other balloons from other companies. We were the last up in the air and the first down. 23 minutes total. Terrible as to time in flight. Landed in a field and had to walked out.

Amazing. Really worth the money

SCAMMERS! They took twice the price I shouldve paid which I learnt after the trip. They said they paid commission to the brokers - the carriage guy who brought me to their office (also scammers of course). I was convinced if I pay at the office directly (not to any carriage guys or other shady people), I just pay the right price. When guys at my hostel couldnt believe how much i paid! When I complained they said its my problem, my fault and also WELCOME TO EGYPT. They deleted all the rude messages they sent me (I wish I had taken screenshots back then). If you dont want to support scammers dont go there - any other company will provide you with exactly the same service. Rude, disrespectful, dishonest. AWFUL!

What a nice experience

Sharing my experience for hot air balloon in Luxor Egypt. Its a great experience everyone should have a ride. Tourist just BEWARE for the Price of balloon ride. GUIDES will ask you to book it through them and ask for 125 USD per person for a ride which is far too expensive. My suggestion to everyone is to book is directly from the Ballon company office available in main market opposite to Luxor temple. Direct booking will cost you 70-80 USD for 30-45 minutes ride. Please dont buy from from tour guide. Also ballon ride is operated early morning so you have to get up around 4 a.m. Please feel free to ask any questions for it.

Awesome experience. Its one of the highlights of my trip to Egypt. We never felt unsafe during the whole flight as the staff and pilot are professional. It was our first time ever taking a hot air balloon. We enjoyed every minute of it, including the landing. I had very bad experience. as i booked air ballon ride and i confirmed with sindbad company that i will pay as soon as i arrive to luxor prior to the ride with one day. i called them once i arrived to luxor and was surprised that my trip was cancelled as i didnt pay the money. They didnt try to call me before cancelling my ride and didnt tell me that i have to pay otherwise my ride will be cancelled. unfortunately, i couldnt manage to book air ballon ride with any other company as it was before the ride with just one day and they ruined my trip. im very disappointed.

I and my friends had the most amazing trip with Adel - he is the kindest, most informative guide/captain ever. If I could score him 10 stars then I would. My trip in the balloon was a memory I will never forget and hope to do it again some day. Adel, you ate a wonderful man and my whole experience in Egypt was one that I will never, ever forget. We woke at 3 AM and left our Nile cruise at 3:30 AM to a Sunrise ballon ride. Went straight to a boat to cruise nile and had to wait some minutes to another group. When we arrived at the ballons we had to wait more then 1 hour. In the meantime, 2 ballons from Sindbad left with groups that arrived later then us. We lifted off at 05:40 AM, loosing the sunrise we paid for. Extremelly bad transportation to the lifting place and extremelly rude personal. The only good exception was the captain, who was skilled and friendly. Cant recommend the company to anyone.

Took a tour with them. The guide was funny and all staff made sure that we were landed safely. Beautiful unforgettable views possible only seen from a hot air balloon during sunrise.

Magnificent view with the sunrise over the whole city and view of some monuments (eg Valley of the Kings).Here is some information to help you plan this flight:Price: personally, I paid 45 € through my guide with the bluebirds company.On forums, I have seen that some people pay less (between € 15 and € 30) by booking directly via a standard hotel (eg: Bob Marley hotel luxor) or directly via the agencies on site and others paying more expensive (between € 85 and € 100) via the internet and on cruises (boat on the nile).Apparently if you book overnight it is possible to have negotiable rates (I think its to fill incomplete groups).Here is the schedule for the morning:1. Pick up at the hotel or boat around 3:30 am - 4:00 am.2. Drop off the group at the port to then take a boat to cross to the west side of the Nile (free tea and coffee).3. Another mini bus will be waiting to take you to the hot air balloon site.Travel time in the hot air balloon: between 20 minutes and 45 minutes depending on the wind speed and the weather in general.Please note, cameras (compact or reflex) + video camera are not allowed during the flight. On the other hand, smartphones are allowed.Finally, an employee of the company will film you as soon as you arrive at the boat until the end and then offer to buy the DVD for $ 15 (video on which you will see all the passengers of the hot air balloon).
