Do not hesitate to use the services of the Allsports kite club. We didnt rent any gear but we made use of the supervision, storage and rescue. The club is professional well organized and they provide good advise. They are always ready to help when launch or landing the kite or even to store your equipement. You need some experience to start from the beach, but if needed they can bring you by boat to the lagoon, it is only 5 minutes from the kite centre. This way you can ride close to the marina where it is not too crowed as in the lagoon and they keep an eye on you in case you need to be rescued. They also repaired my kite the same night. The kite club is rather small which offers you a personal service !

Great surf-center directly next to the Carribean World Resort.Friendly and more important experienced staff, who is also able to give advise about the spot and the material itself, which is under good condition and high-quality. Additionally, the surf center offers familial atmosphere.I recommend the Allsport Surf School Soma Bay for beginners as well as more experienced kiters and windsurfers.

Organisation: easy booking procedure via Planet Allsports, the owner himself took care of us = )everything worked perfectly smooth from airport shuttle over hotel room to kite classesStaff at station: superfriendly and helpful local station managers/teachers and boat drivers, we always felt save and looked after, the place is familiar and not so crowded as other stations around so staff can take time for youEquipment: almost new kite stuff in top condition, 2 boats (1 lagoon shuttle, 1 rescue/lagoon base)Kite station: equipped with everything you need, changing and storage room, fresh water for shower and kite cleaning, much space to set up and dry the kites in sun/wind shadow, couches to hang outKite spot: we can recommend the frequently leaving lagoon boat shuttle. in the lagoon there‘s a marked teaching area for planet allsports only which is also the lagoon base for boat shuttles. depending on tide and moon constellation the lagoon is filled 15-80 cm. during our stay in october wind blew constantly from morning to 1-3 pm and we could kite every day. next to the base deep water starts so you can choose to kite the lagoon or „open“ water (it‘s a big bay so not really open sea). if experienced you can also start/land directly in front of the station, but there are wind shadows due to a nearby hotel.

I had an amazing experience with those guys.Mahmoud is such a great windsurf instructor. He made things extremely easy, kept the downtime to a minimum and insisted on every detail until I was executing it the proper way. Hard to believe, in 3h I managed to complete a 2 days course and I was riding along him for 4km after that.Highly recommended!

Very friendly, helpful and committed team. 💙 They speak German, English, Russian, Arabic...Water sports beginners are introduced to new sports competently and with the necessary sensitivity.Experienced Water People will find a warm and chilled basis here, strogage, rescue and helping hands.SUP, kite, windsurfing and wingfoil courses for beginners to advanced and the appropriate material are offered.A special feature of the spot is its suitability for wing foiling. Even at low tide you are already at foil depth after 15 meters from the shore, there are hardly any corals or stones in the shallow water. The offshore wind in the morning is sometimes quite gusty, but manageable for wings. The wind usually shifts to side shore at midday, is then very even and offers enough pressure thanks to the thermals. (I was there in January, the conditions in summer can of course vary.)The forecast directly in front of the station is often higher than the actual wind conditions, so it is better to bring a few more square meters of sail/kite/wing!On days with unfavorable winds, you can shuttle to better spots by boat.Kiters - especially beginners - may be better off taking the shuttle to the second, shallower Planet Allsports station further north because of the frequent offshore winds and deep water. The Caribbean World Resort right next door is suitable for accommodation with acceptable full board, offers a wonderfully green garden and very good massages for water sports enthusiasts who have really worked out.

Was there at Planet All Sports at the end of October and rented wing equipment. From the registration to the borrowing and also the material everything was great. Boards are 130l Quattro WingDrifter with Slingshot FSup 84cm wings and North Nova wings. The spot has cross-offshore wind in the morning and then turns to sideshore at noon. Due to the covering of the surrounding hotel buildings, the cross-offshore wind is gusty, which is completely clear and from midday you have to go further out for good conditions. But then you also have the chance to see animals in the water, such as To see turtles. In an emergency there are boats everywhere in the bay that come immediately and ask if everything is ok, should you lie in the water a little longer.Otherwise the station has everything to offer. Separate changing room, toilets, drinks and coffee and good material. It could get tight here if there is a lot of crowds, as the choice of materials is limited. The briefing about the conditions of the station as well as information about the spot were very detailed and helpful.Maybe until next time, best regards, Rico

In short: dont go there! What reacts there is only greed for money and pure arrogance, especially from the station manager Alina. She doesnt even have to say hello to a new customer when you arrive. It does not matter whether you have an acceptance or not which one has been discussed with Diana in advance. Let alone not take the time to check it out (Alina). The spot itself is to be forgotten because it is in a bay where the wind is at least 5 knots (or more) less than what is indicated by Windfinder. That means you either need a 17 mm kite or you cant go out at all! Everything Diana said to me about this is simply not true. You can go out with a Zodiac, but then you wont be on the beach. Youd better go to Mövenpick because the service is much better there and you are still valued as a customer. The PalmRoyal is best because it is at the tip of the lagoon where there is no wind shadowing. There you can kite directly from the beach or go up to the other lagoon, where practically all kiters are. Kite (or surf) everywhere but please not at Plantet Allsports!

We booked a 5 day course in October 18.The course takes place in the shallow water area of Soma Bay above. There is a separate area for the Planet Surf School here. You can get there with the stations own boats.Coco, our kite instructor, who is also the station manager, showed us the two of us through the course. It has to be said that Coco is an excellent teacher. In his calm, yet attentive way, he was able to respond very individually to the different learning needs. He brought us from zero to a super level in each of the 5 days. Were still excited. Thank you Coco !!!Due to its proximity, the station is ideal for guests of Caribbean World. It is a bit smaller but very well maintained, equipped and very personal and familiar. That cannot be said of the neighboring stations, which despite their size are very overcrowded at hitting times. The team is super nice, courteous and the atmosphere in general is great. We think the slipstream area in front of the station is not worth mentioning. If the wind blows enough (4 Bft) you can slide almost to the station (windsurfing) - and when does the wind not blow like that here! We definitely didnt see it as a disadvantage. All in all, we were totally satisfied and had a great time. Irresponsible handling of beginners! The students are sent across the deep area without sufficient safety distance (no possibility for the teachers to intervene or the boat only arrives as soon as it is too late anyway). As soon as they have slid across the other kiters, the instructor drives up to the starting point and the drama starts all over again. When I kindly pointed out to the Egyptian teachers, I was answered with very aggressive demeanor, insults and the statement the spot is theirs. Qualified and responsible staff looks different.

Everyone was super helpful and always on support. The kite repairs also went overnight and Alex & team were always on hand to offer advice and assistance. If necessary, we were always and immediately taken to the lagoon and back by boat. Everyone was especially attentive when we were on the water. Rescue of person and material in particular is great!
