Definitely one of the best kite spots I’ve ever been in a distance of just 4,5 hours of flight from Europe. Great people. All of them speak really good English and German. Great wind conditions, almost no waves and this awesome color of the Red Sea with the mountains in the background. Perfect for absolute beginners and for pro’s. And if there is now wind you still have plenty of possibilities to enjoy your holidays there. I’ve been already 6 times in Soma Bay and Kitehouse is now my second home ;) Looking forward for my next return in October.

Nice place with friendly staff and good equipment. My kite coach Dahshan was very good, patient and got to me level 3 quite quickly. Bar is a little expensive.Go there for kiting!

The lady at the front - black hair German - tried to over charge me $20USD because she didn’t have change to give me. If it’s your first time, don’t do the group lessons. It’s a waste of time - you will maybe get 45 mins of time with the kite and spend 2 hours waiting for the others to get your turn. Watch out for the he over charging - the prices are always changing.

Amazing kite spot in november or spring time. In this time it isnt so hot to compare to summer. Enough wind for beginner and advanced kiter. Thx to Shaban the best instructor! Pricing is not cheap but the service/organization is top.

Great kite spot with nice chillout area, showers, clean restrooms.Only downside is the offshore wind condition but the rescue boats (2-3) are very attentive and always help you quickly. Good food, very friendly staff.Overly expensive beverages: water:2€ beer:4€ small cocktail:7€ (not acceptable in Egypt!)Small tube of sun screen 15€ (buy it in the marina for 2€).Cool extra activities like beach volleyball, slack line, battle ropes, wakeboarding.I didnt rent kite equipment since I had my own, but from the looks of it mostly quite used and old core kites. Board selection was also limited and you need to hurry in the mornings to find the right one..Conclusion: Cant wait to go back there! Ideal spot for beginners, intermediates and pros.

Kite House with all you need! Rescue by boat, shower, storage, rental, classes, bar, restaurant... Everything organized and clean! The average 15€ euros /day is worth!

Its the 5th time here and its still awesome. The water is very flat thanks to the offshore wind. My non-kiting girlfriend loves this place too. There is a bus to the hotels nearby every 30minutes. The place is quite busy in high season, but there is still enough space to safely do some tricks.

A star for the spot, its very good. Not to be recommended for beginners, however, as there is almost no standing area. (Better across the street from Peter Müller) 2nd star for the staff in the rental and on the beach (very nice) Abdalla is particularly worth mentioning. The rest is a disaster.Material is extremely bad and old. Very slow in service (e.g. Elfi) and not really nice. We will take our own material with us on the next visit.

I was here in the last week of January 2021, for the first time and will be back!Fantastic location for a kite house. Super friendly staff who speak very good English and some German. There is a shuttle bus from the hotels to the kite house every hour. Small shop for equipment and clothes. Very good food and service. Highly recommended for all possible kite courses. (I had a refresher course).The Kite-House offers the purchase and update of iko & VDWS licenses.Beach volleyball, beach soccer, a training area and lots of chill-out opportunities are offered. Foosball table inside the house. Hygiene areas very well maintained. If you want, you can also have pictures taken and then purchase them.In addition, the kite house offers a down-winder tour, which is accompanied by a boat, for those who wish to return.I was there for a week and will definitely come again.Thanks to the whole 7bft team, you are awesome!

Ive been coming here on and off for years and was last there in November 21. Unfortunately, I have to say that the kite spot at the 7bft Kite House is already practically unusable due to the massive new building of the Steigenberger hotel due to extensive wind cover and correspondingly poor wind quality. The former icing on the cake of the bay directly on the shore (wind comes offshore) is now a large bathing zone separated by buoys☹️. And the construction work isnt finished yet... So I definitely cant make any recommendations for the spot at the moment; Beginners in particular have to struggle with the gusty conditions. I cant say anything about the rental material and the quality of the training, Im always on the road with my own material. A real shame...

Hands off this kite school. There were three of us and we paid 360 euros for 3 hours standing in the sand. That is pure usury. In addition, the equipment is now very out of date. We received torn suits. And for one of us, they didnt even have a suitable suit.There are better and cheaper schools nearby!

The kite station is getting on in years, the staff partly rather moderately friendly and not very helpful, especially at the reception. The prices were excessive. The storage is dirty and costs 20 euros per day. For 2 weeks you get 3 vouchers for Rescue which you have to attach to the harness! Even if I havent needed a rescue for years, I think the regulation is a joke. The food is moderate and more expensive than in the beautiful 5 star hotel 300 meters next door. The spot is very crowded, has only a small standing area and is therefore not suitable for children and beginners. Once and never again, there are much nicer kite stations on the Red Sea!

I think its a good spot thanks to the steady wind and calm water. Since the kitehouse for the Breakers always has a well-prepared and very helpful staff. Great atmosphere

However, there were many loungers, but not on all cushions (not due to Corona, because the back rows were all empty) so there was too little space for my companion, as all the comfortable loungers were already occupied, some only with kite material or backpack. The Kitehouse has a very pleasant and comfortable infrastructure. Say moorings, beach volleyball field, beach football fields, indoor area cooled etc. The staff is on the whole friendly and helpful (the Baarmensch is great ;-)). The food is very good and tastes good. The prices are relatively high compared to the surrounding kite spots.The area is suitable for advanced riders. There is shallow water and enough space. However, a large hotel complex is built below the kitespot, which leads to a very böigen wind in this area. Say the spot will be much smaller.My girlfriend visited a beginner course at this spot. However, this was very sobering !! Unlike BigDayz (kitespot & provider further down the bay) there is hardly a standing area. Say + -50m. The result is that when the water start is practiced, you are immediately out of the standing post and the teacher is no longer able to help. So you are immediately on your own. As a result, the boat has to move out very often to collect the beginners. Say the air is drained and then it goes back to the beach where everything is pumped up again. As a result, a lot of practice time is lost. Nice kitespot, nice staff, unfortunately too full. There is not enough room to practice tricks. (5x start for 1x jump)Kite courses, especially group lessons are NOT! to recommend. Price / performance is very bad and borders on rip-off. The group course is 80% only waiting on the beach. Beginners are also not allowed to practice without a teacher. Better to dodge Bigdayz on the other side. They really care about the students.

Terrible for beginnersWanted to learn kiting, but there was no wind (nobody can do anything for that). However, € 210 was then charged by 3 people (€ 70 each), so that it was once shown how to set up the kite, one of 3 people was allowed to hang the kite as an emergency exercise and a book was recommended.I have been doing weather-dependent outdoor sports for a long time and know that the organizer can not do anything for the weather, but 3 times € 70 without a return that I think is appropriate is not possible.

Unfortunately, I cant really say much positive about the kitehouse. Some of the employees are very nice. A beginners area is advertised, but this may only be used if you are completing a course there. My friend already had a course elsewhere and wanted to practice waterstarting. We were then informed in a friendly way that we had no business there if we werent attending a course (we paid € 25 per person per day!) So we switched to the area for the other kiters and were there again even more friendly pointed out that we had no business there either (there werent 10 kiters at the spot over Christmas). Well whatever, it came as it had to come. She had to use the rescue service once - but it needed something in between 5 - 10 minutes before something was moving and only after loud whistles and additional calls from a kite instructor.Because we had already paid for two days, we got 50 € per person for the second day where we didnt want to go again not get our money back as we didnt think the service was great.So in a nutshell:1. Spot is by no means suitable for beginners / intermediates if there is no supervision by a course, the advertised standing area is ridiculously small compared to other spots in the area2. Staff is only partially friendly and helpful (the guy behind the bar was the nicest)3. In a rescue situation it can take quite a while before someone comes4. Compared to other spots in the corner, totally overpriced in terms of price / performanceIt was definitely an experience for us and next time we will do a wide berth in the kitehouse.

They had called in the morning and because of the wind conditions one had agreed a later time.I had enough then. And also said that I am angry. Since then I was offered to begin with the theory.Too late, I tried to save the day and leave the Kitehouse.It is a pity that the organization is so bad. The place is nice and chilled.

Nice kite station with everything you need.The only point of criticism is that you have been able to book an extra for 1-2 years where the kites are set up and taken down.Unfortunately the people (beachboys) who should normally be busy launching and landing kites are busy building kites up and down.This led to the fact that one often stood on the bank and no one was there to take off or land. I wouldnt necessarily bother me at another spot, but if you pay 89 € for 7 days, then I dont want to stand for 10 minutes at 30 knt on the beach and wait until someone has pity to land my kite.

Great spot, standing area, nice people and friendly trainers. The offshore is great for starting water without always ending on the beach. And material rental and shuttle to the hotels works without any problems.

Super spot with sand and large standing area, all surrounding kite centers have a coral reef through which you have to walk out.The staff was always nice and helpful and the training made a competent impression
