Mr. Amin runs a very clean hostel/hotel and it is PERFECTLY situated at the ferry landing. We’d thought the location was pleasantly quiet and extremely convenient. The location has two wonderful balconies which overlook the river, perfect to have dinner or breakfast upon. AND there is wonderful food and coffee available within arms reach! (Check out SudaNuba for fresh roasted coffee beans)

Great hotel, very good value for money, and the owner/manager is very helpful. The location is superb, with wonderful views over the Nile to Aswan. Elephantine Island is very quiet and a good choice for travellers/tourists. The ferry to the mainland costs 5 Egyptian pounds one way and it goes frequently, until midnight.

Amin is a great host. He takes care of everything you need to do, so you dont have to deal with the touts or con artists. He goes out of his way to get things done like booking bus tickets and even arranging a covid-19 test for our future onward travels.The property is right at the ferry landing so very very convenient especially if you are going across to the city often.For our family we took the three-bedroom penthouse apartment. Every room has air conditioning including the living room, so its a great place to hang out in the middle of the day when its hot. At other times, the very large top floor terrace overlooking Aswan is awesome

Great choice of accommodation to stay in Aswan.The property is located on Elephantine island, a Nubian island away from the busy and noisy Aswan city center. It takes a 2 min ferry ride to get there. The property is clean and the hosts are wonderful. Nice, serious and caring people! Plus the view on the Nile is beautiful! They offer to organise tours and excursions from Aswan. Stayed 3 days there, I could stay a week as it felt so peaceful. I thank Mr El Amin for everything! God bless your family and your business!

Best Nile view ive ever seen, great hospitality. Amin and his family are taking care of us, and always offering help. The apartment is located on the Elephentine island, Ferry from KFC in Aswan ran all day to El Amin Guest house every 10 minutes, so its easy to get around.

Definitely a great location, good rooms and a great host. We liked the views and breakfast. Pricing all over Aswan is to high, maybe because of the big names to compete with.We booked Abu Simbel trip and Nubian village trip with Amin. Very friendly and we would recommend this guesthouse.

Great place to stay a few nights while beeing in Aswan. Both Rico and Mr. Amin were very friendly and helpful. Public ferry (5 LE the return trip) is right next to the guesthouse.

For the price you pay, its so worth it for the apartment, location on the nile and service from the owner Amin, who was a genuinely nice person. Shukran Amin. The only thing to keep in mind is that you need to get a cheap (2EGPpp) two minute boat ride to the accomodation as it is on elephantine Island.

Lived in the topmost suite with a veranda in January 2022. By Egyptian standards, the place is beyond praise.Pros: the roof is completely at our disposal, there is a hot shower with a toilet in a separate room, a canopy with sofas, something like a barbecue area, a balcony, there are two single beds in the room, there are nets and shutters on the windows. The room has a huge ceiling fan and air conditioning for cooling only. There is a minimum set of dishes and detergents. Nubians are cool, friendly and helpful guys, they cook deliciously: tomato soup from the oven and shakshuka won us over. We solved our plumbing problem on the same day. They can organize you a transfer, boat tour, hookah, beer and something else on request.Cons: there were warm blankets, but no duvet covers. There were no towels (bring your own!). It was very cold in the room at night, no heating in winter is provided, the floors are ice-cold, it is better to take slippers with you too.

Very nice owners! Good-natured, thorough and responsive. House directly at the pier of the regular ferries plying non-stop until 00:00. The house and rooms of peace and quiet. The room is clean, tidy and warm. With an excellent view of the Nile. There is a wide terrace where the evening nice swing on the swings. On the first floor - a shop with products. On an island near the cafe with inexpensive pizza and a hookah for 150 rubles. In general, the place is ideal for traveling !!!

Incredible place, room, attention, everything perfect! The only thing that we went on a tour, we left our bags in the lobby (since we were returning after check-out) and when we returned our bags were at the door outside the hotel. Nothing happened, but it wasnt pleasant.

Innkeepers very hospitable, English communication is not much problem. Large rooms plus a super comfortable balconies and delicious breakfast, the focus is still very cost-effective price. Location is very good. On the left hand side of the KFC is a 5 round trip round trip to the island. The hostess Al Amin is also very friendly and has a canteen and a restaurant.

Nice apartment facing the Nile on Elephantine Island and directly at the foot of the ferry, convenient for visits but be careful not to exceed midnight at the risk of having to pay a private boat for the crossing (80 ~ 100LE) instead of 2 LE by ferry.M El Amin is adorable and will answer all your requests. Just on the pier of the island, the traffic is very convenient (the ticket is 5LE round trip). It is much quieter than the noisy urban area. The best is the beautiful view of the Nile River. The room is clean and there is a small kitchen on each floor. Brew tea.

To get there is a small motor boat in front of the KFC (5 Egyptian pounds). The place is in front of the Nile and has 3 floors. The first is lodging, the second is a store belonging to the owners family (Amid) and the third is a lodging plus a terrace.Amid speaks a little English and will try to make your stay as good as possible.The place is unbeatable with a spectacular Nile terrace and facing the center. It is all clean and has the essentials for a stay.
