The goat cheese pastry is deliciously out of this world! I don’t think i’ve ever tasted tomatoes so juicy and rich in flavor. And oh my the goat cheese… so fresh and bright.I also had the caramel croissant which, you guessed it, was the best croissant i had my whole life! Real caramel, crisp layers, airy and fluffy on in the inside… yummmm

If you visit Cairo you must come here. Make sure to be there early in the morning before 8:30am to try the salty options.The food is delicious and with high standards and quality ingredients.Sophi is the spirit of the Sublime and she brings a lot of joy and happiness to you with a warm talk with her.

Probably the best pastry in Egypt. They dont hold back on quality ingredients and they know what theyre doing. But this reflects heavily on the price. Theyre pretty expensive. However, the portion is pretty big, so its like buying two eclairs, for example, from a normal pastry shop. I recommend it as an experience for someone who loves french pastry. It would be a great gift, too.

This was an amazing experience. Didnt get the chance to try dessert but the cheddar meat croissants are excellent. The fillings in both the salami and turkey are great and worth every penny, it is so hefty and generous. Quality is something smelled and tasted in this place.Thank you keep it up!

I went on a friday, and it opens at 8, i was there at 8:02 and there were already a long line, so much so that i actually got my turn after an hour. But the quality of the food is worth it for sure, but its expensive, i got one soar pate and one sweet croissant for 155 le.

Charming little family pastery shop. Famous for their freshly baked goodies, which brings a touch of France to central Cairo. The shop is clean and Sophie the seller is friendly and chatty. All the ingredients are specially chosen to complement the suburban french aura. Portions are big and hence the goods are a little pricy.The only downside is you cant grab n go because theres usually a waiting line.

Beyond expectations ❤ madame sophie is a very decent woman with a beautiful smile in the morning, the pizza was wonderful every tastes perfect, the chocolate tarte loved it

Were blessed with a piece of France here in Egypt, and despite the long distance that I have to cut its absolutely worth every minute , the timing is strict and they run out quickly I wonder why! They specialize in eclairs, tarts and croissants ,the eclair I had came with a bit of a story and it was delightful to say the least , there is a balance between the flavours ,I had a dark chocolate caramel eclair with a heavenly portion of whipped cream , its not too sugary at all from what I just explained Just perfect in every sense ! Thank you so much Sophie and Thomas I cant wait for the next weekend already!

Definitely a solid french patisserie. Croissants are exceptional, their tarts are good and the salmon mini pizza was surprisingly good. I liked the capers touch, the salmon chunks and the dough consistency. Having said that, there are two glaring problems with my experience that needs mentioning. Firstly, I have had the misfortune of walking in while a fight broke out between the manager and a staff member and i felt extremely uncomfortable because there was a lot of passive aggressiveness which almost made me walk out the door. So i don’t know if this is a recurring theme or what but, definitely was not a good look whatsoever. Secondly prices are relatively high but i understand it is a small business so the margins need to be higher than that of a big franchise. I honestly hope them the best cause there is potential and i can see them being extremely successful with some convenient adjustments to the place.

I was so excited to try all the bakeries there. I tried sweet and salthy ones. The portions are really huge and the quality of everything is really great but I just felt nothing went well together.Like I ordered croissant filled with different types of cheese and turkey, it was huge and very heavy. Everything tasted good alone but together they just didnt make any sense.Plus each item really costed a lot. I would not have minded the price if the bakery tasted heavenly but it was average. Just huge portions with no art.

By far the best tart i’ve had has been here. The place is very cosy and inviting. Smell of freshly baked goods filling the place up. Extremely friendly and welcoming staff. Croissant is so crispy and flaky, pizza super delicious. Definitely worth visiting and trying.

Dropped to 3-stars from 5-stars due to huge increase in prices.I have known the bakery way before it became popular and was featured on national television.Honest to God, one of the very few places that make genuinely amazing baked goods and one can see and taste that in amount and quality of raw ingredients that go into making a single item. However, recently their price-per-item doubled and, as of the date of this review, I cant find an alibi for that absurd increase given that the price of fuel has dropped and so has foreign currency (since that is what business owners usually blame) .Still, I would highly recommend you try it at least once to understand the extraordinary quality that I mentioned. Sadly though, either I will only be able to afford half the quantity I used to buy from them, will only be able to invest in their baked goods every once in a long while or the bakerys target customers will shift to higher classes since Im sure that even the middle class see it as expensive.

Regarding the bakery whatever I would say that would not add enough to the places reputation built by its popular friendly owners Sophie & Thomas... But let me point out that its the Cleanest & most hygienic food offering place Ive ever visitedUpdate: The White Chocolate is Heaven on Earth

The place is run by a family and they provide very limited supply of home made, very fresh and delicious french pastry. It opens at 7 in the morning and closes when the supply is over, so you have to be early. The croissants are heavenly and I definitely plan to go back to try more of their stuff

Very overpriced and very overrated! It’s generous in the ingredients but really tasteless and you can’t see the fluffiness in its layers. I don’t recommend it at all unfortunately and I’m really surprised from that all good reviews.

Im speechless by the beauty and pure taste of the bakery. Very high recommended, I never tasted this croissant or tart before in Egypt. The chef is Francais and they are very clean. Lovely

I know this may come as a shock to many, but I think this place is overrated. 😅You have to get up very early in the morning, get there as early as you can, stand in a loooong queue, and wait for your turn just to get your bakery.The bakery is good, but it’s nothing like French bakery... Most of the bakings are overstuffed with pastrami, cheese, cream, cocoa cream or whatever so it leaves quite an impression but it’s not that wow.I can’t deny that I loved the items I bought the couple of times I went, yet I don’t think it’s worth all this.
