We ordered chicken with honey sauce that wasn’t too sweet to cover the taste of the chicken and i’m sure honey lovers will fall in love with it. And chicken with garlic sauce, for me the taste wasn’t strong so I didn’t like it. However, both of them were fresh and crunchy and very tender from the inside.The star is the sweet potatoes. That was exquisite.

I just didnt understand why they dont put spoons and chopsticks as a normal serving and when I asked them for both they seem like they wanted to say youre wasting our assets although its not single-use item :)They told us there no tapokki or kimbap and then I found that they served another table with the items I requested and told me theyre not available.It took about an hour to get the food done.The place has no network and that gave me the feeling that Im going to disconnect the noise of social media for a while.. although if you wish to connect to wifi its available.The food was really tasty although it wasnt the one I wished to try..

Hands down my favorite meal in cairo. Must eat at the restaurant though. Soy chicken 10/10. Honey glazed tenders 10/10. Spicy chicken 9/10. Pickled cabbage also really good. Quality of chicken is the best I’ve had in Egypt. I’ve been to kokio 6-7 times in the last 3 months and it’s never disappointed.

The food was bad and cold . The manager was so rude to us we even asked them just to reheat the food and they refused saying that the sauce might damage the pan.It was very bad experience . I don’t recommend it by any means.

It is Korean restaurant but mainly specialized in fried chicken.Food was good but service was poor that is why I did not give it 5 stars.I shared with friends the following :1 Spicy fried chicken (the best)2 soy fried chicken3 kokio chicken ( the worst)4 spicy rice cake5 fried seaweed rollsGenerally chicken quality is good and well-cooked reflecting a good smooth texture and mouth-watering marination.Spicy fried chicken it was the best plate with hot and sweet jam (probably)Soy fried chicken was good and rich in flavor but mainly of garlic rather than soy which was weak.Kokio chicken was like they say in the menu “crunchier and with less flour” but was extremely dry and flavorless not recommended at all 👎As for the Spicy rice cake it was my first time and it was average , nothin special it feels like a chewy giant oversized pasta cut into pieces.Fried seaweed roll was amazing . Outer fried coat of nori seaweed stuffed with what I believe was seaweed-based gelatinous rods whatever it is😅.The only setback besides the kokio chicken that the service was poor and 2 plates were not even being made by the time the rest were served.

This place is the fried chicken heaven no doubt! Their chicken is extra juicy and the crunch is amazing! I tried the soy fried chicken and the garlic wings and both have a very subtle, yet very distinct taste and very fresh. The lovely thing about the chicken is that each time the batter has a different taste with every dish and you would easily feel it. Try other things on the menu...the fish balls are TO DIE FOR..!!! Can eat tons of that without any chicken...the fried sweet potato is satisfying by itself...and they serve the chicken cups with a strawberry cinnamon syrup....! Oh and I ate all that in one sitting!

Been wanting to go there for a long while and finally did it.The place has many authentic Korean dishes but its more known for the fried chicken. We ordered 3 types: spicy chicken, soy sauce chicken and Kokio chicken, which is supposed to be fried differently.The kokio chicken was not that special, even though the honey sauce that came with it was absolutely incredibly delicious. The soy sauce was very crunchy and not oily, but the best type was without a doubt the sweet spicy chicken. It had a scrumptious tangy feel to it couples with a mild spicy punch that went together very well!All in all, very enjoyable experience.

The food was just so good for the words to describe. Also, they provide gloves so you can eat freely and a bucket for bones (pictures not included) Look at the pic and judge by yourselves.

I was alone but the place hospitality was great, the Korean man was veryyyyyyy friendly always smiling which is rare 😁 the welcome starter was popcorn.They have a good korean menu not only fried chicken.They serve a plate,fork, basket for bones and gloves to eat freely with your hand.The chicken was soooooo tasty, clean and soaked well in the sauces, the soy sauce is to die for, the spicy is sweet and spicy at the same time, the dukbokki was not the best but was so delicious.The atmosphere was so cozy, but I would prefer adding korean soundtracks rather than the english ones to have a complete korean experience.The bathroom was so clean.The waiter girl is Egyptian and very friendly too, always smiling and she was explaining the whole menu to the table next to me.One of the best korean restaurants experiences, highly recommend!

Surprisingly i had the worst experience at Kokio Maadi branch. I brought my whole team (16 member) to enjoy a good meal yet the owner wasnt friendly at all and for real he made us very stressed and upset. The service was disappointing and the food wasnt the usual. Wouldnt recommend this place if you are thinking of having fun.
