The food and service are outstanding. Great menu with healthy options, like tasty salads and smoothies. You can also bring your dog! It’s pet-friendly in the outdoor area. Pleasant location also.But it’s so popular that it’s very crowded and packed with people, and if you care about Covid precautions even the outdoor area will be uncomfortable for you. And it’s loud too.

Best place for early breakfast. The food is fresh and just delicious. But the best part is the stuff they are super friendly and helpful not in annoying way so they create a happy environment

Service was fast, attentive, and efficient. Food was excellent and portion sizes were huge. Juices and smoothies were cold and of a wide variety. Our family of 5 was each happy with their orders. We took some fresh honey to go.

Went to Ovio Restaurant in old Maadi in September 2021 for the first time and I really liked it. The outdoor area was cosy and comfortable. The food - had a great Burger with French fries - was delicious. Waiting time was not too long, though all available seats were occupied! The staff was friendly and they were wearing masks 😷👍🏻!!! Prices are €€€! Can absolutely recommend this place to anybody 🍔🍟🥗😊👍🏻!!!

Spacious restaurant with both indoor and outdoor tables and decent staff. Their pancakes are delicious. The seafood pizza was mediocre though with a huge empty crust. Everything is overpriced and also their air curtain for flies isnt working apparently and one landed on our pancakes, and another was having a stroll on the table but before the food was served--which I squashed. The manager supposedly changed the pancakes, hopefully, and apologized for the situation.

Our first time Ordering from Ovio. We ordered one cheese pizza. Part was over cooked burnt crust the other part was undercooked raw dough in pizza. Clearly rushed. Not sure as first time customer I would order again.We decided to eat at ovios, outside. Excellent olive pesto and friut drinks. Frenchy sandwhich was good. Stayed away from pizza.Back again it was great. Onion soup, club, banana chocolate pancakes

This place is so overrated! Possibly one of the worst pancakes Ive had in my life. Do not be deceived by the presentation. It looks really nice, but the taste, not so much. The salted caramel pancakes tasted nothing of salted caramel. Unfortunately, that was a waste of calories.The only thing the food is good for is Instagram pictures, if youre into that kind of thing.

The food is fantastic and in most cases Id say you get what you pay for. Except the egg with avocado on toast. The Smashed avo was spread so thin all you really tasted was the lime it was seasoned with.Pancakes other foods were great though.

The pancakes is amazingly delicious. I ordered spaghettis, but I want to say “get toast or sandwiches, not any pasta or spaghettis”. The service was really good. I am generally satisfied.

The restaurant is located at a very cosy and nice neighborhood in Maadi. Theyre known by their delicious breakfast menu. Their dishes come in big portions as well. Its usually crowded on Fridays, so you better come early in the day.

Clean, unique, and very very good food. They have smoking and nonsmoking areas with good service. The service is getting better and better. They have some delay in getting the orders but that because of the number of the clients. They have also good breakfast but they finish it at 12:00 pm.

EDIT: Used to love this place, obviously, but for the last three visits or so everything was mediocre at best. All that’s left is the good atmosphere. The food is either bland or too salty to be edible (specifically the mushroom steak, which was also overcooked to mush even after refiring). The chicken with pistachio from the new menu is bland, and obviously microwaved as well. Dessert and coffee are still decent, so stick to those.The careless service didn’t help either. (A waiter gave us the wrong appetizer then took it to the right table after we’d eaten some of it!)*I rarely change reviews, but my last experience was so unpleasant that my previous review is now totally inaccurate.

I love the atmosphere at Ovio, especially in the morning. Yesterday I ordered Classic burger, unfortunately it was served warm not hot however it was delicious.

Really the go-to place for breakfast in Cairo. Recommend starting with a cheese and bread platter and then an omelette or pancakes.

Third time in 6 weeks that I tried to eat there. On a weekday morning at 10:30. 10 minutes after taking our temperature and seating us, we were still sitting at a dirty table without menus or QR code reader. Finally got their attention and, eventually, menus. Made our selections and waited nearly 20 minutes to actually order. There were 4 staff among 12 tables. The woman sitting next to us arrived after us but had been served her coffee 10 before we finally walked out. Used to be one of our favorite spots but the service has gotten so terrible it ruins the experience. Too much competition in the market to put up with this behavior Especially as this has been similar our last two visits before this one.

Amazing breakfast experience at Ovio. Menu has great variety with tasty execution. Loved the eggs Benedict and the eggs & salmon toast. In Ramadan we ordered several dishes from Ovio over fetar. Dishes came hot, right on time and the quality was nothing short of impressive :)

I come here once a week for the pancakes which are spot on! Last time I went with my daughter they set up a complimentary cookie decorating table just for her and she got to frost Christmas cookies. What a lovely experience!

First Time for me in Ovio Maadi. Its the same decor style as all Ovio branches. I ordered egg banddict with hollandaise sauce over smoked salmon. One of the two eggs was over cooked, but its fine. The cookies I got for take away were really delicious and have become my favorite.

Coffee and food were very good.Staff were cheerful and nice to talk to, but the didnt care about hygiene (they wear masks and gloves, not talking about that). when one spilled my coffee, he just used some tissues to clean up the cup.There was a fly were they keep plates before been picked up and they just left it there maybe flying down on some plates.

Nice, cozy and relaxing atmosphere. Service and quality of food are great. I always go for breakfast and order the Ovio breakfast plate and just tried their Marinara pizza for lunch. It tastes delicious. Yet, it needed some more seafood to be tossed in.

We had extremely bad service on our recent visit. We have been to this restaurant many times and really like the food which is why we return but hardly ever get good service, they are very rude and not very efficient.During our recent visit we were seated on an inside table straight away by one of the staff, after taking our order and being seated for 10-15minutes one of the staff came and told us we had move to another table because someone has reserved this table, we were a little annoyed as we had already been seated but moved happily, we then got sat at the table right in the front of entrance not very enjoyable after a few minutes they then asked us to move AGAIN and finally asked us to sit at the bar top for a third time, after being at the restaurant for only 30minutes we had been reseated at 3 different tables, by now we had enough and left before our food came out. The staff need to be more organised and know what is happening in restaurant floor.

Very nice restaurant/cafe. USA/European style with relaxed music and lots of tourists. Food is great, the dark chocolate is also very good. Service good. Cost about 89LE for omelet and pancakes combo. They also have a pretty good avocado toast for under 80LE. Definitely stop by if in the area.

The pancakes are to die for!!! However the funghi pizza I personally didnt enjoy so much. Id recommend sitting outside rather than inside if you can, too. Inside is a bit claustrophobic.

Barely qualified service that doesn’t prioritise the customer, and absolutely subpar food. Reputation pays off, but there’s (ovio)usly some slacking on their part. Although cordial and nice, the service doesn’t follow the adage of “the customer is always right”; I ordered potatoes with chicken, and the potatoes were spoilt (I made two different people taste it), yet the lead waiter had the audacity to say he had tasted it and it was just fine. The rice replacement had little taste to it, and the chicken were seasoned with salt at best. Not a place to enjoy a delicious meal, but maybe just a cup of coffee. Don’t get your hopes up about the food – if you have to go with friends, try your best to stay away in case someone is a picky eater.

Granted its a little difficult to get parking but once you do the all day menu provides a great place for breakfast, lunch and/or brunch. Great service Ovio Maadi team. If youre struggling for parking then the New Cairo branch in CFC provides a great place for all the family 👍

Very good food, the staff is very friendly and speak good English. The menu has several different options of good food and a nice selection of mocktails. Unfortunately the do not serve any alcohol but the quality of location, food and staff makes up for it. Truly recommend this little gem.

Its a very nice place with a nice and usually quite atmosphere on weekdays, but usually a bit busy during the weekend.Ive tried it multiple times, for food, dessert, and coffee and the quality has always been very good.Only downside is that its a bit over-priced, even compared to places with similar quality and atmosphere.

Its a modern hip breakfast place, nice setting but was overly crowded on a Friday morning. I only went once so not sure about mid week. I got banana pancakes which were nice, fluffy and hot but the bananas were weird and probably not fresh at all. Chocolate sauce nice complement but I would have preferred honey or syrup. It is extremely overpriced, given I paid 85 LE for some pancakes which are basically some flour!!! Reached 108 with service and tax...it is one of these places where you pay 30 LE for a couple of sunny side ups...popular but not remarkable in anyway....
