Disappointingly expensive and extravagant, which understandably appeals to a category of clients interested in such extravaganza. Im not one of them, but I guess its still way too expensive to spend a fortune on sweets. The lost star bringing the rating down to four stars is attributed to the exuberant décor and the excessively sugary sweets offered to the extent of being nauseating.Worth a try
An old relic of the past..... Like walking into a time machine.... It was great before but now looks very sorry for itself, the cafe is closed, the place is not that clean and the fridges are organised to try and make it look full. The truth is that this place is on the way down and the owners need to take serious action before losing this once thriving business!
No wonder it is called (Le Carnaval) because it is indeed a carnival of sweets of high standing, but it loses a star in its rating because of the exorbitant prices that are bordering on the ridiculous. Its understandable that quality comes at a price, but theres certainly a limit to how high this can reach.Otherwise, you will enjoy superior quality though not really premium. For comparison, try Syrian sweets at Abul Kheir which are a delicacy and way cheaper.
Overrated and expensive with no reason i don’t recommend it
Sure the products are first class. But that you are not served and that other customers leave the store too because no one is there to serve you is unacceptable
Very disappointing, some dishes was just good but nothing special ... the service was very slow , the waiter get us the order missing one main dish (we were 6 Persons and got 5 main dishes) , spent half an hour to prepare it wrong! and another 15 min. to get it finally the right dish we requested from the very beginning, we ordered soft drinks with the dishes and didnt get it until we ordered it again and have it after finishing our dinner, the dessert was horrible Strawberry Pistachio Cake and very over priced !!!Interior design is good but really needs to be renovated. For me will not go their again ever , or even suggest it to others!
Decoration is really stunning, however food quality is less than normal. Dishes do no match the menu description. My Cordon Bleu was good , mashed potatoes were yummy but rice was plain. Other dishes were not impressing enough. Place is almost empty- actually we were the only table there - and service is extremely sloooooooow.Definitely I wont visit again.
Used to be much better before. The staff are quiet friendly and professional but the quality of the desserts have gone down, and the place looks a bit worn down. Looks like its in need of a good renovation
Very good quality
Despite I can afford like some others, am wondering who’s that idiot that would pay EGP 6500 for a box of “Eid Ka7k”, when she/he could pay half price for a far better quality from L’amandineOr alternatively, buy an air ticket with EGP 6500, fly to Jordan/Lebanon and eat the best regional sweetsThis Le Carnaval management seem to be either a group of amateurs or a bunch of sad jokers!
They don’t answer phone at all, they write on their site that they open at 8 a.m., I went there 9:30 a.m. and they were closed, I asked a nearby building guard hd told they open at 10:00 a.m., I waited till 10:30 a.m. but they didnt open.
Closed before announced working times on web site
Used them for catering. The food tastes okay during the event and went bad straight after. They were 2 hours late to the event and delayed the good service 2 hours.
If I could give it 0 stars, I would. I bought macaroons and they were very inconsistent in size and fluffiness. They were very dry as if they were made from a week before. Not good quality for how pricey they are.
Nice place, but too expensive for the food quality, definitely been to way better places.Recommendation: Better not go.
Its ok.. usually very busy, and its small. Customer service is average. Interior design is a bit uncomfortable, and not well ventilated.
Too bad service easy to destroy the food test, no hospitality at all, the waiters are very rude, sound track is not compatible with the atmosphere
Old, poor collection and lost its old glare!Youre better off at Copper Melt and its 4 mins away
One of the fanciest and most nice places you can go to buy desserts , very expensive but delicious
Horrible place it was way better years ago now its just s***
Lovely place, little high prices compared to its category.
Favorite dessert shop. Expensive but good value for money.

Unfortunately, the level of Le Carnaval is not the same as the first, until two years ago, but it was nice, and there was a Roxy branch manager in it, unfortunately I dont remember his name as a man of great respect and taste. The important thing is that I went today, unfortunately, and bought from him from the gateau department:First, there is no bag, even like the first, in which a box of gateaux should be placed. I mean, you must walk and carry the box and it does not matter that you fall, not a problem, the important thing is that you do not put it in a bagSecond: There is no bill to take, although you have paid the tax, but you dont have a bill in your hand. Well, I photographed my bill.Third, and the most important: It tastes like a very beast, and the taste of the gateau is crunchy.Seriously a bad experience, I dont recommend anyone to buy it again
The owners restaurant is very lacking in taste and literature, and I dont have a customer invoice for the sale and the prices are very exaggerated and from experience and God is great
After a traffic accident occurred while turning at a very slow speed and a speeding car driver entered the reversing lane, which led to me being taken off the road to the sidewalk, the barrier and the traffic policeman’s booth were added in an appropriate manner to prevent the accident from recurring.
Expensive on the vain and excessively large
The place is chic and the shop is very sweet and very well known and in front of it in the corner for the left inside the shop staff Chic and Baitamoa with the utmost respect and taste whether bought or not need Btthm sweet hard and using enormous raw materials but their only problem is that their need hard expensive expensive strong strong frankly They can have 8 or 9 times the cost (for the Eid Kakk talk) but for the rest of the desserts and chocolates, their prices are almost more expensive in chocolate than Bashanel and in the prices Patchi Bs for honesty is an ordinary chocolate you can answer from anywhere because this is the two types that are above the best Types for evil sweets Yeh frankly Mejrebthash. O Lord, I help you with what pleases God
Very refined and excellent taste
It is not sweets. It has super sweets. It is a masterpiece, especially the dining hall with piano tunes
A place to sell eastern and western sweets. But the upper floor is a French restaurant, with an ancient and antique decor and a distinctive old atmosphere.
One of the finest places in Egypt for Western sweets, higher than the east, which loves the eastern Mesh Meshker Ziadh Hayabqi
Excellent service and high experience of chocolates and other distinctive sweets for public and private parties
Its prices are high, or save too much on the product
How a restaurant like this could be so badAnd follow-up to the customer is very bad and the account is very highI never ate 10% of the food for bad tasteI never imagined such badIm talking about the Mall of Egypt branch
The standard of food does not live up to the reputation of the place ... Prices are too high for the quality of food ...
5 * confectioner, chocolate maker and tea room.
Good but very expensive
The food is more than beautiful but the prices are very high
Lovely
It is very nice for family and friends and has many activities
One of the best sweets shops in Egypt.. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . .But the prices happened and there is nothing wrong with it
Workers in the shop do not monitor them, and the shop owner pays taxes and wages
Finite
The quality is poor compared to the prices
Fine place and fine taste
