This was the first time to visit this branch of Paul and to be honest I was very disappointed with the food. I went for coffee and croissants and the croissants were not fresh and they were very hard as if they were made the day before. The coffee was luke warm and not worth the price at all. This is very disappointing as I have visited the branch in Point 90 new cairo and the food was good. The service is this branch was appauling, no covers on the table and when you ask the waiters for something and they totally ignore you apart from the manger who at the end was very apologetic. The place itself has a nice outdoor area but I will not go again sadly
One of the best bakeries in Cairo and this specific branch is more than perfect. The atmosphere is awesome and the smoking area is very cool. The staff was very decent and welcoming, the service was good and the food was great. We got croissants and coffees and both were more than perfect. The bathroom is out of the place and you have to get the passcode from the staff to enter it 😅Parking is not the easiest thing to do there
Well, the food is good.. the place is really specious HOWEVER it is so crowded the tables are really close to each other.. no alcohol or sanitizer on the table unless if you asked after their offering to spray your hand 🤚😅..The staff are nice …but there one in particular is a bit rude. NOT so much recommended but I would go there again once in a while.
I adore Paul more than any other restaurant; I adore their flat white coffee, which I prefer to their cappuccino; I adore the majority of their dishes; I adore their location, especially the down town branch; every day I visit Paul, I will share my dish and its ingredients; however, every time I choose flat white coffee, which is the best I visit most of Pau.
Coffee, soups, and desserts are delicious. The best time to go is early morning in my opinion. Their seating area has a lot of beautiful natural light in the morning!
Stylish brand of French cafe/ bistro/ resturant cum bakery, with several branches in Cairo. I was at Shehab Street. Not cheap , but the service is excellent and attentive, but not imposing. Food, beautifully presented and very tasteful. Bread and coffee superb. Good place to impress a first date!Only missed a 5 for me , as the chicken cordon blue main needed more fresh herbs etc for my taste, and no alcohol is served.
This branch has been my family’s fav for a long time. Last time we went was a couple of days ago and the service was not great, waiters took too long to respond to our requests and even ignored some bec of the new menu. Mr Gamal was a lifesaver, he prepped everything and saw our order to perfection. Thank you Mr Gamal.
My go to breakfast spot. One of the best places that offer fresh tasty bakeries and desserts.Under the sun rooftop with amazing coffee. They also have great lunch and dinner menu. However, there is a special vibe in this place in the early morning.I recommend Complete Breakfast from the menu as it offers a variety of food and 2 beverages at a relatively low price and can be shared among 2 people. My personal favourite dessert is the berries tart . Never found any other place that serves fresh berries tart.
This Paul bakery is situated in Heliopolis Cairo. A lovely old grandeur neighbourhood with the most amazing architecture. The paul bakery brings back a lot of that old worldy charm with its beautiful courtyard terrace. The waiters that are well dressed and give excellent service. And ofcourse the food they serve is delicious! From a savoury sandwich, fresh salad onto the mouthwatering desserts. Its all good!
I loved the salmon avocado salad! So fresh and rich!! Best Éclair au chocolat Ive ever had in my life! Service is so good and ambiance overall is cozy.
Today, I went to Paul El-Korba for a quick morning bite and creme coffee, I asked for a latte and cheese croissant as the waiter described it stuffed and topped with emmental cheese, coffee was ok, bakery was cold, I had to return it to be heated .. unfortunately came back as it is, I had to ask for re heating, this time it was ok but when I reached the inner part I discovered theres no cheese stuffed there, I asked the waiter and He confirmed the stuffed cheese is usually a very small piece of cheese, that is hardly noticed but no doubts its there somewhere! To me, this was real disappointment, so the waiter suggested to replace the regular bakery with a special one that is really stuffed with cheese, He offered to either stuff it with cheddar or emmental cheese, I selected chedder .. This time it was fine.I paid EGP 103 for the croissant and creme coffee.Overall:Positives:- The outlet is clean with fresh ambient.- Outlet location is prime.- The waiter Maged added real value to the place. Thank you Maged.Negatives:- Not all staff a equally good, some still need extra training.- The seat was small and not comfortable.- Food quantity compared to prices need to be reconsidered.
Great French bakery! Just close your eyes while eating your viennoiseries and you will feel youre in a French bistro in Paris.
Good coffee and fresh Croissants. Nice and elegant atmosphere. I was surprised that they dont have WiFi though! Would have been a nice place to work from...
Delicious 😋 breakfast with a good variety of Eggs and cheese.Hospitality and service is great and cost is really reasonable considering portions, service and standard of the food seeved.
The food was amazing, but I didnt catch the breakfast as it ends 12 p.m, the drinks were good, the decorations of the place is very good I liked the plants its good to see green. My only concern is the staff werent friendly they were always busy and on a hurry they seem not to care very much, but after all it was a good experience and I will go there again for sure.P.S: the prices are somehow expensive.
Simply perfect in terms of service and quality of products. German style bread on higher quality and taste than you can find in most places in Germany.
The outdoor area is cosy and nice. It may get over crowded during the weekend. The service is really good and the staff are friendly. You dont to do any reservations.
Horrible, doesn’t compare to any Paul that I have ever been to in any other country. Their ingredients are very bad, they even don’t offer the iconic Paul menu, instead they have a customized menu that makes them less than ordinary. Don’t be fooled by Paul name, try local coffeeshops for same and more menu items at better quality and better prices.
Service in this branch is not up to Paul standard actually not to anyone’s standards recently! It used to be one of my favorite spots. The last couple of times for me were just annoying and waste of time. Specially the morning/ noon time. In ordered water 3 times it never came! I revived a dirty plate form the waiter and he said while placing it one the table don’t worry it’s just black pepper and water! With a smile I asked him please change it for me and please bring my water which never arrived! My friend ordered his plate without a certain ingredient in his food but it came normally in it. Finally we asked 3 times for the check which came 10-15 min later with the water in it receipt we simply paid everything and left.
Cozy place, Excellent Atmosphere. Only bathroom need more cleaning attention
Grilled halloumi cheese croissant along with an ice tea to kick-off the day,I tried the Grilled Halloumi Cheese Croissant stuffed with halloumi cheese, tomatoes, black olives, rocca, basil and olive oil at @paularabia for the first time and I didn’t regret it, This was a good option it was light and appropriate to eat at anytime of the day.@food__addiction___
Nice place, good service , little busyMake sure you order something sweet and fresh
Very expensive for no reason. One of the biggest brands which wastes the foreign money of Egypt on useless stuff. Imagine they import plastic forks from France. Super waste of energy and the country resources. And still the coffee tastes bad
I love Paul! Very affordable prices compared to Paul lebanon! You can have an omelette with vegetables and cheese, faugasse, croissant and lots of viennoiseries, and 2 coffees for arou d 10 dollars. And this is a good deal.(compared to paul lebanon, where the same meal would coat you more than 30 dollars... But same food quality)Staff are really friendly, and they do their best to help. Even they offered to throw the coffee if we dont like it.Eclair with Salomon is a must try!
I love the place because of back area, coffee is really good there also they make amazing pasteris
Great staff and food - highly recommend! They really need to divide smokers from nonsmokers. Better yet, take leadership in the food industry and tell smokers to do their business outside the food area.
Very professional and friendly service with a great atmosphere. I ordered Benedict eggs with salmon which was tasty and nice. Both the American coffee and the Turkish coffee tasted great.Though the place was very crowded it was properly managed, and did not feel that there is a long queue of a waiting list.Asking for a washroom was resolved as they have a side toilet with a passcode to enter; yet it was not the best, however, it was an ok option.
The coffee was good, but the Lemonade with mint was too sweet. Their food was okay, but isnt as fresh as its supposed to be.The service was really bad and the server was kinda rude.Ive had better experiences at other Pauls.Wont be visiting again.
Nice & Cozy place having Heliopolis spirit, avoid weekends and Holidays as it will be crowded, prices are a bot high
Great cafe, nice vibes and quite sophisticatedQuite expensive but thats mainly because of their target customers
Paul was and still one of the finest bakeries however it is not as started and I am afraid quality is a bit declining .There are good changes in the menu but hopefully they reconsider the old quality of the bakery .
The quality of food and service have been declined remarkably, Paul is one of my favorites but they should consider better auditing for this branch
This used to be one of the best places to enjoy a coffee in Heliopolis.. It is packed with chairs and tables .. Very loud .. Staff are overloaded
High quality of food.It has a big outdoors area
This place definitely has a unique vibe, its very calming and warm, however service is normal, i tried their mango & passion fruit smoothie but it was basically just mango which was really disappointing, i tried also their lavender latte it was nice, we tried different desserts, they were all good but nothing special my favourite was the honore, i would pnly recommend going for breakfast, anything else is not worth it
The most cozy & elite branch for Paul.Loved the tree in the middle. The air flow is just perfect and u can enjoy the open sky at night. The quality of food & drink is great as usual.
They made a mistake on every order and then when they brought the right order they also charged the order. Honestly wouldnt recommend it or go again.
Restaurant has low number of people serving food and drinks makes the service kinda not great!
An excellent place. We ordered sandwiches & Hot drinks and the quantity and quality were excellent and satisfying.Highly recommended Branch el korba
Tasty food, nice service reasonable price
This is one if the best Paul’s in Cairo great food great service lovely atmosphere !
You cant find a mistake on good quality food and beverage or professional services of trained staff.
It was one of the most wonderful places Ive ever visited before, youll enjoy your French breakfast, and before being served with your meal, theyll serve you with a free baguette next to a small plate of butter, and after eating your French breakfast (try their cheese!) you can enjoy your dessert there too, dont forget to drink tea before leaving! I had two bad experiences there, 1st: the bathroom is too far (outside the Cafe) 2nd: (the waiters are too slow, I had to wait for about 20 minutes to pay.)
Plenty of room to sit but they allow smoking ! The menu is nice & fairly priced.
Really good breakfast, coffee quality could be better
This branch of paul will remain on of the favorites places to stay with good ambiance.Food and drinks are perfect, stuff is friendly also . Only thing is service is slow because of crowd and sanitizers should be kept on tables.
Bakery products was excellent but need to have more varietiesLocation Is AwesomeExpensive
Nice food and nice place but a bit crowded
Very bad service . Not matching the prices. The fresh drinks were bad and coffee was not hot.
A very nice atmosphere and the food is good
Love this place, staff are friendly, indoor seating is great 👍
Very nice location atmosphere and food
Love the place , the atmosphere , the service and the food.
The best place to have a breakfast, lunch and dinner as well ... Has a fabulous menu
Great as always. The food and the ambiance.
It is nice to sit, but you dont get all you ask for except after a very long time after asking many times .. and it is expensive
This beautiful restaurant has left the best impressions! Hospitable hosts, delicious dishes, beautiful presentation, and wonderful dessert. I recommend to everyone! I would like to come back here again and again. This is our First time in (Paul el Korba in cairo the service we received was so amazing and we will definitely be back again. They made us feel welcomed and gave us an amazing experience. It’s a great experience Staff are extremely knowledgeable and make great recommendations specially Mr Gamal(very well trainned) and Mr Walid the managerstaff is really friendly. They know what they’re doing and what they’re talking about, and you can tell making the customers happy is their main priority. The staff truly cares about your experience. Please convey our thanks to Mr Gamal and Mr walid they really deserved to be thanked ...and we will come again because of themsherine Emad. All Covid 19 precautions are done perfectly
Still very good quality food, prices are reasonable compared to other cafes and bistros, but higher quality.
Very elegant place, high prices though, take care, didnt try the food yet, maybe next time.
Good restaurant but so crowdy & noisyno enough seats and not suitable for working or studyingbut so wonderful design and very cooperative staff.although i didnt find a seat i am glad with my experience in paul.
Was a good place, only bothered by smoking peoples around.
Okay coffee, not bad ambience.. Really really loud though, so if youre in it to work or focus; thats not the right place for you. The service was stunningly terrible though, asked for coffee for me and my company, and then they forgot about it and of course were about to double charge me for it.. Later on the same day, met some people and stood up around the table to hang out; they were terribly rude asking us to go there.. Yes, later on the manager apologized and all but still, it really leaves an impression. But yeah overall experience is just okay.
My regards to the amazing chef who made this incredible Eggs Benedict, the eggs were perfectly done, the hollandaise sauce is rich and delicious, absolutely the best Eggs Benedict I ever had in Egypt. Hash browns are crispy and fluffy inside.Make sure to enjoy the complimentary breadbasket with butter.Great atmosphere
I am really happy that this Paul lives up to standards of other Pauls. The manager Ahmed was very honest and helpful, which made me love this place even more.I see a well managed kitchen and staff. I love the French music. This Paul has been here for years but I dont see a decline in the way its run.
Incredible service and staff. Amazing food. Totally would recommend.
Very good service. Its quite busy weekends during breakfast and you might need to wait to be served.Generally bakery, breakfast and desserts are the spot on.
Loved my mushroom soap, hated the service n the waiter was gloomy, oh and my receipt came with a much higher price then i called it bluff, the staff leader brought another receiptGenerally i disliked my experience, but the place is Parisian styled garden, its beautiful.
Food is ok but service are very SLOW.
First of all the guy that seated us had an attitude the minute we walked in. The food took 45 mins to come. The steak we ordered was frozen, shouldve known when the waiter insisting I order it well done, when I asked for medium! The salmon on the other hand was very dry and the sun-dried tomatoes werent even rehydrated. I expected at least fresh food paying 250 pounds per dish from a fancy place like Paul.
Pretty good food. A bit on the expensive side
Good service, above average food
A very friendly staff, a good service , good food , cozy place , a bit overpriced
