Priceworthy hotel quite near to airport easy to reach. A bit outdated but much better than other hotels of the same price. Renovation works (no noise) going on during last stay in December 2021.

Amazing memories, stayed here when it used to be called Gabaly Hotel and our friend Hasan at the reception was always giving us the best advice about sightseeing in Cairo.Would love to visit here again someday.

I went to this hotel with my family and it was very bad. The service was bad, rooms very old and there was hair on the bed when we came. Only good thing about it is the location.

What an amazing hotel. Had a very scary experience and the management and staff have been super incredible with their hospitality. The room, service, food, wifi and the list goes on is 10/10. I have been taken care of more than i can imagine and being alone in Egypt waiting to fly home to SA next week this has to be the best hotel i could have wished for. Good value for money if you manage to find a discounted online rate through accomodations sites, but the rate directly at the hotel is too high for the conditions they offer. The hotel is showing its age, but i found my room comfortable, the air con was not too noisy, the mattress was comfortable the sheets crisp, and they gave us a king sized bed when we asked for one. The bathroom was clean although it showed many signs of age. There is noise from the streets but that is Cairo. There is no double glazed windows but you can ask for a room in a higher floor which reduces the noise. We found the staff helpfull although their english capabilities were limited as perhaps they serve mostly the Egyptian market and not the foreign market. When we stayed there the wifi was not working throughout the whole stay which was very inconvenient as we had just arrived from the airport and needed to book a lot of other places and do research for the rest of the trip. I advise buying a sim card when you first arrive in the country and there is a vodacom shop not far from the hotel by Uber Hope this was helpful. Happy travels.

I stayed there in 2014 and 2016 and both stays I had a good experience.Rooms are kind of small but this wasnt a problem to me. Rooms were clean and cozy, bathrooms were good.Breakfast was also fine and I didnt need a wide variety as it was fair to its cost.Overall I was delighted with my stay there.

One of the most dirty hotels i have ever seen.Dirty toilet floor, a lot of hair around on the floor and on the bed.The structure is old and without any mantainance.The lift is stucking while going up and down. Bad smell around.The staff is friendly but i changed the hotel after the first night.Avoid this place.

Nice hotel in good location

In terms of the hotel and its services its amazing, the room is clean and cozy, however had one bad experience when checking earlier than normal check in time, the room that was given to me wasnt the room suited to my prefrence. I did appreciate the fact that they let me check in earlier, just wish i couldve had a more comfortable sleep in the room i wanted

This is the worst hotel I ever stayed at. It was winter time when I stayed at this hotel. The heater doesnt work and hotel staff font really care about fixing it even though we complained for three consecutive days. Shower was broken, they dont change bedding, if you order from kitchen, you get the worst food, and so many other bad things you dont expect to see at a hotel.This is a highly unrecommended hotel.

Very poor hospitality service, Ive booked a room a month ago to early chick in today, I arrived 2 hours before checking in time. Dispite of the room is empty, the front office guy insisted on leaving me at the reception for 2 hours.

Just fine, elevator can use improvements area is great, room we had was too small. Staff is tricky about breakfast and shuttle ride, dont let them book anything for you.

Nice and clean hotel and the service is good, the location is good, although the rooms are a bit tight and you hear sounds and talking people from Neighboring rooms and the views os some rooms are not good. But overall you can stay in the hotel if you are in quick visits to cairo and you need a place to sleep for a night or two.

By far the worst hotel I ever stayed in, I left it after the first night. Couldnt sleep because of the noise of the staff moving stuff after 2am. Air condition isnt central and it wasnt working properly, couldnt change my room for a double bed instead of twin bed even though I originally asked for a double bed. Never ever gonna stay there again!!

Very good compared to the price of the room. Note that there is no shuttle as the reservation site said they shuttle, however this is not a big deal in Egypt finding a taxi. I have concern about the safety of the elevator. Other tyan that the place is not bad, the area is kinda quiet. Out of several hotels i booked in Egypt this is the best i got.

Mixed staff, some are friendly others not so much - All rooms are smoking, I asked for non smoking, but Every single room someone smoked inside, smell is too strong - repetitive breakfast, if you staying more the 2 to 3 days you will get bored of the same food.

Room air conditioning was not placed properly and we was constantly hitting us while sleeping... Two days later we ended moving the beds to avoid the cold air hitting on us but had a really bad bedroom.

I’ve stayed at this hotel many times before. This was by far the worst experience of my life. Since my last visit, the entire front desk staff has changed, and were very rude, mostly the night time “manager”. My Egyptian friends and husband we’re especially disrespected. Lucky for me, one is the son of the minister of tourism, and he found us a better place. I checked out the next day, and don’t plan to be back. I also requested toilet tissue or at least regular tissue, as my room had none, after 24 hours of waiting I bought my own and left. Worst treatment of my life. Still love the security and bell men..

One of the worst hotels to stay inI was planning for a stay of 5 nights and I checked out after the first nightStarting with the receptionist who was so unprofessional and rude with zero experience in dealing respectfully with customers.The room smelled a bit weird and the bathroom was outdated, the duvet cover had a blood stain and cigarette burns and when I asked for a replacement they got me 2 small covers that were overused and worn out, I asked for a better cover they told me these were the last duvet they had, the cushions had a weird smell as well.The elevators were not working most of the time and I had to use the stairs more than once.In the morning I asked for an Iron they told me their Iron is not working and my only option is to wait till 11 am for the laundry shop beside them to open.The breakfast was less than basic, some cheese, eggs and sausage, the orange juice had black pieces floating.However, the location is good near to cairo airport and heliopolis area.

Great hotel! The beds were comfortable, air conditioning was always working (although sometimes the cold air sometimes hit us directly), and the bathrooms were kept clean. We had a bit of an issue where we werent getting cold water, but we called reception and they fixed it immediately. Also, the breakfast is great. Furthermore, the location of the hotel is very close to Cairos airport and it is a short taxi ride away from Roxy (where you can go shopping, go out to eat etc...).Overall, you get good service at this hotel and we enjoyed our stay here.
