I rarely write reviews but I simply have to share my experience with EgyptAir for those who are choosing between two options - EgyptAir and other airline. Please choose the other airlines, it surely cant be as bad as Egyptair.Simply stop replying - thats how Egyptairs customer service solve issues and it didnt happen to me once, not twice but three times therefore Im not exaggerating. I wont be naming the individuals as I dont want them to get fired during these difficult times but Egyptair wont be providing a good service until they learn how to value each and every customer. I could be a potentially loyal customer as I have a family in Egypt and I grew sick of stopovers but I will rather stick to Turkish Airlines as it never disappointed me in any way. I fly at least 3 times a year, this means six flights in total every year and lets say Ill be probably flying for the next 20, 30 years as Im young. This is around 41000 euros approximately over the course of 30 years - at least. May not be so much but if every disappointed customer did the same Egyptair would eventually run out of business.Now to the issue which the CS team hasnt resolved in 14 days. I was adding my frequent flyer number into the section but it didnt work so after few attempts I just took a screenshot so I can resolve it with the CS, I had other issues with the information but that was resolved. So I contacted the CS, unfortunately, the first employee did not read the email so I kindly replied that she already received all the info in the previous email, her reaction was simply to stop replying. I decided to contact her again in two days, I got an immediate response from someone else - yet again not resolving my issue and providing me no help whatsoever. As Ive been working in the CS myself I made a few suggestions on how we can deal with the situation but unfortunately, I didnt get any answers. I sent another follow-up email before my flight which hasnt been answered. Im deeply disappointed and I will rather waste a lot of my time on stopovers than flying with Egyptair.
