The first is the general cemetery for the sons of the Greek community who died in the wars, and the second includes a cemetery for senior Greek families, such as the family cemetery of the well-known Greek poet Cavafy.The day of April 29 represents a double memory related to the contemporary Greek-Egyptian poet Constantine Cavafy or Kafafi (April 29, 1863 - April 29, 1933), as this day marks the anniversary of his birth and death as well.
