Beautiful, clean and peaceful Giftun Island, in the Red Sea, near Hurghada, Egypt. Plenty of room to relax, and gorgeous views not to be missed. The colors of the water can not be duplicated with a camera lens. You must come see it in person and experience it for yourself. Very affordable places to stay nearby, and very affordable activities! Everywhere is very safe and peaceful! You can truly relax and enjoy! I will definitely return and recommend it to everyone not to miss it! There is plenty of shade and places to rest and relax. You can purchase a beverage or snack or bring your own, and there IS a restroom on the island. The island is accessible only by boat, which keeps it fairly private. Even though it is a tourist location, it appears they limit the number of tours and excursions throughout the day. I never felt herded or hurried. They seem to have a smooth well rehearsed system to ensure everyone has a wonderful experience. I appreciate everyone who works hard every day to provide such a wonderful, memorable experience. Giftun Island is definitely a must go/see/do/experience destination!

Heaven on earth - when in Hurghada, you can buy a trip by boat offered by many local travel agencies. Immaculetaly clean and transparent water. Perfect snorkeling 😉

A beautiful island with soft white sand and crystal clear beach. Bring your snorkelling gear because you will be able to see the fishes in shallow waters. It’s usually packed with so many tourists with a guide. Bring towels and sun cream, it’s hot and you have no shade and no beds, no toilets but it’s usually a short stay with whoever you come here with.

Very beautiful island with crystal clear water but you have to take into consideration that there are no facilities in this island no umbrellas no bathroom nothing at all just sand and best water you could swim in but it so enough for the giftun island trip which you could reserve with alot of trips agency in sheraton street i my self reserved with an agency called star tours they accurate and honest about what they said describing the trip so i could recommend them

My day trip to Giftun Island with my girlfriend was one of the best days of my life and an incredible experience which I shall never forget and coupled with us staying at the Hilton Long Beach Hotel in Hurghada.

One of the most amazing islands and beaches of the Red Sea with a charming nature, coral reefs and various sea animals I had wonderful diving experiences there

Shuttle service in dugout you land on the beach quite crowded, each finds a corner of white sand to do some photos, to do if we did the rest: sun, no fish because no coral: just for emerald water and it is already not bad

Beautiful paradise uninhabited island in the Red Sea. Anyone who visits Egypt around Hurghada should not miss it because it looks sensational. We were in August, there is real heat, but still pleasant due to the pleasant sea water and the constantly moving air. Tanning is guaranteed. :) There was so much trouble with the cruise there that we were a little on the boat. The staff is as cheerful and friendly as in Egypt in general. On return, they took the baksis, everyone gives or does not give at their discretion. The total trip in 2018 was 20 euros per person, the child discount is usually 50%. It includes snorkeling twice on the coral reefs on the way there, bathing for 1-1.5 hours on the fairytale island, lunch and refreshments on the boat, and a little fishing on the way back. :) We recommend beautiful, worth paying for it. :)

Giftun Island is often called Paradise Island. There are daily trips to the island from Hurghada. We will pay $ 25/30 for a trip that lasts about 6 hours. During the cruise, the ship berths twice at the coral reefs around the island. On board of each ship, or in the port, we can rent appropriate equipment (masks, snorkels or fins) before departure. Expensive, scrappy. They were taken by boat to the island. We stepped out of the boat on a ramp floating on the water, a rather dangerous stunt. On the beach, a guy yelling at us designated the umbrellas for us, after which we could go eat. The beach bar serves EUR 6 per beer.A small portion of the water was fenced off for bathing. The fenced part is nice sand. Nowhere is a blade of grass to reach the parasol for shade.By the time we got to the bath, they were already being diverted back to the boat because the groups were changing frequently

We were in Hurghada on a boat trip via Travco. The guide was rude to us from the start. The island itself was quite beautiful, Mhyamar Trip, but the guide allowed himself one runaway after another. His name was Mohammed also called Momo, it was terrible when he said to a German tourist you are very pale, you have to stay here for 3 months and count calories because she was a bit overweight. We were glad the excursion came to an end and we were back at the hotel

Even in high season, the sea water can be drained and the ship leading there is not cold either. As part of the all-day program, we stopped to admire the corals and the Red Sea water world in two places with the binoculars and sneakers provided. They are all available up and down at all times. After that, we got a hearty lunch on the hair and then docked on Giftun Island, the sand of which is from the shell, hence the wonderful white color. Unfortunately, we only got masfel orat for this fairytale outing. Another negative was that 5-6 other boats docked here with us, so there were a lot of us on the shore, which made the gender worse.

Diving is super! You can see all the beauty of the underwater world and the diversity of marine life. The island itself is an empty and boring piece of sandy land.
