Abdul and Hamada are great treating their clients! They charge real Egyptian price, they are also very clean and all their products are on date. They don’t try to sell you anything they treat you as usual.

This Market (corner store if you are from North America) is a great choice for snacks, drinks and some dry grocery items. The owner doesnt try to charge more to tourists than the locals, is very kind and helpful and is never pushy!

Hamada is a nice friendly man , he sells what u need in fair prices ,his shop is available till midnight , as he helped us in whatever we asked him for free , even if we r not buying anything from his shop , with a big heart and a beautiful smile .

Hamada Market was just along from our apartment on the West Bank at Luxor - a little shop but stocked full off all the little in-between meals snacks and drinks, and bathroom essentials ... and the bonus is the friendliest staff, and all without the tourist price tag.

One of the only places in Egypt that actually gave me exact (read: correct) change for my purchases and didn’t “round up” to keep something as tip for themselves. Friendly guys manning the counter and a good source of information about the West Bank without offers of tours, taxis, or feluccas. Honestly a rarity in this country. Go support them!

We were glad to have found Abdullahs market while staying in Luxors West Bank. He offers all key essentials and is reasonably priced. Large bottle of water LE 5 . He usually closes for lunch between 1.30pm to 3pm.

After haggling over practically everything in Luxor, its nice to get a straight and local price even as a foreigner; go here, if not for the things you need like an ice cream or water, then go for the company and to be treated fairly and with respect.
