This is my first time ordering from Taboula in Zamalek. I got the food delivered, and they were fast, but the takeout boxes were all leaking and poor quality, and I received store-bought bread, not the usual fluffy Taboula bread (at least they have this in Garden City)! The hummus was good but quite different from the one in GC. Overall disappointing.
The food was mediocre. The service was bad. Extremely overpriced. Wouldnt recommend going there.
Very poor service staff, food is average, atmosphere is poor. Very over rated place ...
Very bad experience, the place was hot till we asked to turn the AC on. The food wasn’t the tasty.
Its quite pricey for the quality. The food was okay, nothing special about it and the service was quite slow. The restaurant in general though had great atmosphere and the decoration was quite tasteful.
Excellent food, atmosphere and service. Thank you for maintaining awesome standards always.
Very disappointed, no hygiene, no maintenance, food quality and taste extremely poor. Not surprised why the place is empty on a Saturday. It’s better to close it than to keep running this branch. My experience is very bad Ants running in my plate and dead flies on the table. The waiter was polite.
Beautiful decoration and environment.. Generous plates...delicious dishes...clean and friendly...theres room for improving on the authentic bread that is thinner than what they offer...prices are very very reasonnable..dont miss the grilled meat
Beautiful decor, good food and many vegetarian options. Additionally, the host was incredibly accommodating even though we came in just 15 minutes before closing. Great experience all around.
Mediocre at best.Taboula has lost its initial charm, quality, service which it opened with in Garden City in the early 2000s.The place has lost its over all charm, the food was nothing better than average and the place felt dirty. We came to taboula for nostalgic memories which we have lived and shared during my teenage years, those memories definitely were not re-lived last night when I visited with my family.Furthermore their POS machine was not working which they should have informed before sitting down not at time of the bill. My wife and I were stumbling to collect money to pay our bill.I think there are many newer better places which serve far superior middle-eastern / Lebanese food in Cairo.Furthermore the service was slow, the TV was insanely loud and the waiters did not even bother wearing their uniforms. They were attentive considering we were the only table
Nice restaurant in Zamalek. No alcohol. Groups like to go there to spend time on appetizers and shisha. The atmosphere is ramadanish so it is very loud. Lebanese food with Egyptian twist. Last time I went it was not a good experience; I went for om Ali dessert. They brought a terrible super sweet heated milk in bowls in which bits of rukak pastry were floating aimlessly. They tried twice and then admitted they were experimenting! The chef was not there they explained 😒 and the sous chef doesnt know how to make om Ali. Cute? We had to pay at the end - we did not eat the soupy porridge. I think this a combination of sloppy decisions. The original branch in Garden City had much better service and quality. Plus: it serves alcohol... A different league.
Restaurant is decent and calm but food isnt very delicious
Very nice as I tried to order take away and they are on time . Food hot and emazing.
Nice Lebanese food..and friendly staff. But the food is not exceptional.
The place is well decorated and fancy. BUT, the food was very bad. Also, the appetizers were not fresh, and the food was not worth the price. Hope they will get better..
Nice place , okay food
Nice place and very tasty food
It’s a really small place. AC wasn’t working well. The food was mediocre.
Very bad unhealthy foodI had stomach ache after eatI will never go there again
The place is nice but thr waiters were extremely rude and not professional
Location can be a challenge ..... Small n cozy ....helpful staff ......ok food
Nice food, nice climate and friendly staff
Service isnt really good and food is ok
Mr. Mohammed made sure our evening was perfect. Service was great and we loved the lebanese food! Well visit again when we come back.
The decorations of the restaurant is old and dirty. The food was acceptable but not good. The waiters have ugly faces.
Love the food there and the decoration makes you feel that you are at the perfect Lebanese place love the Lebanese songs there and enjoy every second I spent at this place I love it and I love everything about it
A cozy restaurant with a Lebanese theme and a relaxing ambiance, the prices are moderate and sometimes they offer pretty good combos/discounts. The food in general is good yet not exceptional, and they are a bit short on service, I kinda feel the decline.
A nice place with good food
Worst food taste and bad service
Fair food, bad service
Delicious food in a simple relaxed setup 👌
Bad place !!!! ..... We came and the place was totally empty. There was literally nobody on the weekend. When we wanted to order our food no one was there. After calling the waiter a guy came down and said in an impolite way that he also had other things to do. Really? We then left immediately without ordering anything.
It took some time to reach there due to access limitations ( there is Church nearby), but I must say - Amazing Lebanese Delicious, a must try!!
Nice. Good & tasty. but expensive
3 starts only for the place, nothing else. Food is not that nice comparing to the over rated prices
The food was amazing. The place was really cozy and comfy. Its in zamalek , one of the prestigious places in Cairo. Really enjoyed it .
Was good experience and well designed place. The background music was good too but the price is quite expensive.
Nice customer service but bad food
Great food! excellent service!
Excellent staff. Beautiful atmosphere.
This has decreased in quality substantially to the degree that last time I went here I really didnt like the food. The potato 7ara was terrible and the chicken liver with pomegranate sauce was just passable. This used to be so much better in the past but now it is far from my first choice for Lebanese food.
Language is an issue for foreigner as the server dint understand English at all.The food is okayish. I have had better Lebanese.
Expensive, small portions, taking too much tike to prepare food. Its far away.from competition with other Lebanese competitors
Great food and atmosphere!
Hummus was great. But the rest of the food was average or below
Nice ambience, good food.
Food was good but the noise... If its not a tv on at full volume its a singer belting it out as if we are at a concert
No hospitality.. escalope was below average, prices are high compared to portions.Dont think i will repeat this visit again.
Ordinary Lebanese food . Nothing special about the place or the service .Overpriced on most starters menu .
Cozy atmosphere, great food, great service, loved the place
Sooo delicious Lebanese food!
Its ok, but not as nice as the one in Garden City.
Best lebanees food
Very tasty food with a good servicing ❤️feel like home
Bad stuff and bad food
I dont recommend itIts nothing compared to the original taboula restaurant at garden city
Unprofessional stuff and bad food :(
The food was delicious but the staff are not the best
Good Lebanese food
Best resturant in cairo
Good Lebanese food
Very warm place with a scene of classic and beautiful music
Terrible Experience...Terrible Service
Little expensive but the taste is good
Nice , clean, Lebanese restaurant in Zamalik , Cairo Egypt
Excellent food
From best places i went to
Good location, good food, cozy place
The food was hit or miss.
Food was ok
The appetizers are a hit and miss. You can go for the fattoush, which is pretty good, but their makanek lack the proper texture; theyre just a bit too mushy.fattah hummus is mediocre if not disappointing. Yogurt lacks flavor and meat shawarma on top is not tender and lacks seasoning. If youre craving Lebanese, there definitely are better restaurants to go to, but if you fancy a cosy and quiet Lebanese place in zamalek, then maybe give taboula a try
Taboula is great prices are quite unreasonable
Nice place
Labenese menu and shisha, but with depressing atmosphere
Nice food but very expensive
Shawerma and fattoush Taboula are excellent.
Excellent service
Food in Taboula in Garden City is much tastier than Taboula in Zamalek, Taboula in Garden City also offers alcohol.
It was very bad experience
With my best friend
Great and calm place
Tasty but over rated
My favourite place in Cairo
Service, shisha and atmosphere
