I was invited there with local friends the food was nice the place is Syrian you can tell from the proformance and food even the gusts you can hardly see an egyptian prices are ok as long as you bring your own Alchol drinks other wise you will be paying over US$ 320 FOR a bottle of scotch

Great food, however they should work on their billing machines. Its almost always not working and they ask that you go look at your final bill on the computer which I think is inappropriate.

Went as its a traditional place to visit for any tourist to Egypt, but personally didnt like the atmosphere nor the loud music. Food was fine.

Blue Nile is an out-of-service ship that is docked on a shore facing the Ritz-Carlton in the River Nile in Cairo, on the island of Zamalek. There are three restaurants in the ship: a Lebanese restaurant, an Egyptian restaurant and a bar at the top, open deck, which they call Moon Deck.A belly dance takes place every morning at 0130 and last for one hour in the Egyptian restaurant. But in order to be there for that you have to order food for EGP500 or more per head. That is very expensive!The menu is very expensive on the whole. Its very congested. If youre sat at a table and someone occupied the table behind you, their chairs will bump into yours and there will be no way for anyone to get out of their chairs unless everyone decides to leave.Since the ship is docked in the Nile, one can see the activity in the river if one is seated next to a window. But the atmosphere inside is bent to keep the outside world out.There was an advertisement outside that showed ten dishes for EGP130. That was a blatant lie. There was no such deal inside. The bill included taxes and service charges and some other fee as well.

The best view you will ever get, food was delicious, chicken liam and garlic and cheese cake were really good, would go there again.

Amazing restaurant , nile view , open area and closed area .Waiters and staff are quick and smile and ask about ur feedback when they served u some thing .Helo you to choose the perfect drink .I advise to have stick tandorrian with mashrom souce with fries .

Plenty of restaurants and coffee shops with a nice view of the Nile River. The downside , it is always crowded especially during weekend and lacks proper hygiene overall.

The food is good in the Egyptian restaurant ( except fro the salad), but expensive! Other than that, it is all bad. The place is very crowded with tables very close to each other and no space to move. Staff always standing next to the tables blocking the view for the singer or the dancer. For a small room like that, they have loud speakers enough for a stadium. The music is loud, the singers r shouting into the mics and the speakers are turned up all the way....very unpleasant !!!

I went to Dar El Kamar restaurant and found the menu is so limited, no defined portion or quantities, no meals with side dishes and very expensive too.Not recommended at all.

Asia Bar cant go wrong with the food, music and crowd. Just expect that the place will only come alive on the weekend after midnight. Sushi is recommended. Prices are also reasonable.

I tried the Egyptian restaurant, Bad customer service... you can hear the staff fighting and raising voices, etc... Food not of the value paid, not of quality.The view of the Nile only forgives the negatives. They can improve, the place has potential.

We came for lunch, food was ok, prices are reasonable but we took time till we served the food and also took time to clean up the table although we were the only one sitting there, because they were arranging the place for dinner time which apparently they have belly dancing night usually

Worst service I’ve ever encountered

Kayan oriental restaurant, is the worst place in El Cairo, the glasses and dishes smells too bad, the bathrooms arent clean and some of the things are out of date, the boss is an arrogant and thinks that is better than you, they cheat us with the check and also they obligated us to pay with cash, you must avoid this restaurant

The minimum charge rate, is way too expensive. Specially, when we have to practically push and shove, (drunk ppl) to use the bathroom... Been there a few times and I feel its simply overpriced n overcrowded

Its okay. Cheap. Only one waiter spoke english but we managed.. we just had a beer, tea and a shisha so i cannot talk about the food.

It was closed tonight for new years eve, the government closed all the cafes and places of celebration to avoid any contamination of Covid-19

The blue Nile ship is a stationary boat. On the river Nile bank. Hosts several restaurants. I was at the oriental restaurant. Lesa Faker. It starts very late. Has a musical program. Songs and belly dancing. The food is average, the portions are small. Very noisy place. The prices are quite expensive. The service is mediocre, and their reception when we first interned was a bit offensive although we had a reservation.

Blue Nile restaurants, there are four restaurants and nightclubs. The location is very nice view. Food is good. nice service. Place is not much clean. Expensive compared to the food quality and services that provided.

Good service, good price and good views. I had many bad experiences about food during my 5 days in Cairo , I can only recommend this one.

I ate at the restaurante upside down, part of the blue nile boat. They didnt serve all the food we ordered, and the only dishes that we could taste were cold. PLEASE DO NOT GO

Down stairs bar is a RIP off. They charge taxes that no one else in egypt charge. Over priced and inconsistent on pricing for tourists and service is terrible. I only gave 1 STAR because I could not give 0 or negative stars. DO NOT GO THERE.
