Medan El Saaa is considered that is the oldest square in Tanta city. British Occupation built it since the beginning past century. The main purpose of it still helps citizens -who come from another areas- to know time, because they did not have watches as it is nowadays. It still be as an art work in a middle of city, and be an iconic building which tells the history of Tanta.

The most famous square in Tanta town, very popular as its one of oldest places all over the the city, leads to other famous streets; Elborsa st., Ahmed Maher st., Elmoderia st., Elqantara st., Elqady st. and Tanta Train Station as well.The area around is known for shopping for clothes, books, notebooks and other school tools, watches, clinics, pharmacies, maintenance tools and other tones of stuff.The whole square is crowded most of time but overall, its a good place needs some development.

Many cross roads meet here.. u can go to the railway station, Aziz Fahmy St., Ahmad Maher St., El-Kady St., El-Borsa St., Al-Sayed Al-Badawy Mosque, Al-Gaish St., Al-Galaa St., or the city centre (shopping zone).

In the middle between Moderia st and both of Borsa and Ahmed Maher st,, next to Tanta 1st sections police station and near to Tanta railway station

Mostly crowded especially after the police station put some barriers. And most important, theres nothing special there anyway
