The Suez Museum is a newly created museum in the Suez Governorate. It is located on the first road of the lesson basin in the area of Port Tawfiq in a quiet and beautiful place. The canal is a water channel with Roman vessels. It has a section about the Suez Canal and some horse-drawn vehicles belonging to the governor and some statues of different antiquity
Nice place with original partsBut why on Friday and Saturday people over 60 and students must pay a full ticket
It is very beautiful and the people in charge of it are very cooperative, respectful and appreciative. A very honorable need. Suez is my country 💞💝❤️👍🌺💐
The Suez National Museum, which opened in 2012, is located on the Gulf of Suez, and includes 2,500 artifacts that tell the story of the city, from prehistoric times to modern times. The museum is uniquely designed; The building consists of two floors separated by an open gallery, in addition to a museum garden in which a model of one of the ships of Queen Hatshepsuts fleet is displayed inside an artificial water basin. The scenario of the museum presentation tells the story of the city of Qalzum and the Nakao Canal, and highlights the rulers whose history has been associated with contributing to the establishment of this channel since the dynastic era, during the Persian occupation, then the Greco-Roman, up to the Arab conquest. The museum also highlights the history of Egypt’s trade relations, mining and shipbuilding, The importance of the city with regard to pilgrimage trips to the Holy Land, and the history of the current Suez Canal, with an entire hall dedicated to the modern history of Suez documenting the heroism of the city’s people during their armed struggle against the British occupation, and during the battle of October 24, 1973Entry price is 10 pounds per personFor students 5 EGPPhotography permit 20 EGP
A place that really befits Suez governorate embodies a wonderful relationship between the past and the present, where the museum was designed with a contemporary character to connect modernity to history ... There is a huge collection of artifacts Pharaonic, Roman, Coptic and also Islamic .. I have been honored with the museum for two consecutive years
The museum tells about the history of the city of Suez .. and its importance from the beginning of the Pharaonic era .. and that it was the main port for the departure of the Egyptian fleet to the country of Punt (the famous trips that Hatshepsut made)And in a section specific to the curtain of the Kaaba..because it was made in Egypt and was going in a huge caravan..also it was an encroachment on Suez..Unfortunately, there is nothing about the modern era and the role of Suez in the October war (I expected it to be an essential part), but the experience is generally nice and simplified with it..Entry: 10 EGP .. I think students will cost lessPhotography permit: 20 pounds
You did not enter, but the base outside has a sweetness
A historical shrine with witness to several eras
An important shrine that holds collectibles from different eras
If the SOUEZ ZEUS is read upside down ... DIAS. AND HERE GREECE FRIEND
Museum includes excerpts throughout history from ancient Egypt to the modern era and clean and arranged by the seniority of history and is characterized by a display of antiquities and lighting within the museum is very good
The museum was built on an area of 6 thousand square meters and added 8 thousand square meters to be a garden for the museum. The hierarchical structure of the museum represents a stylus topped by an open display. And in the museums water dock is a ship of the merchant fleet of the Pharaonic Queen Hatshepsut. The effects of Suez, which were kept in the Egyptian Museum warehouses in Cairo since the 1967 war, were returned to the museum and these monuments remained in boxes safe from the war’s destruction.Other artifacts have been added from other museums and archaeological sites around Suez, such as Oyoun Moussa and Wadi El-Gawasis.In the museum there is the last bearing of the Kaaba cover which was sent from Egypt to Mecca in the name of King Ahmed Fouad II.The museum has halls that tell about ancient navigation throughout the ages, as well as halls for Greek and Islamic antiquities.
I was expecting to see a museum about the construction of the Suez Canal .. I remained on my hunger 😢 .. unpleasant home ..and staff who bothered 🙄 If you visited the Cairo Museum ... Not the worth wasting your time.
