Limited parking space, very crowded, no proper queue structure, no express checkout despite acting like there is. Service from the management end is defensive so feedback didnt work. I wouldnt write this if it was a bad queue but this is worse. Any line could be a queue to billing. Most people waiting at cash counter are selfish so dont bother being polite or nice, if you do you wont get home before your ice cream melts.

Royal Hypermarket is one among the few supermarkets in Ottappalam.They have enough parking space, one in front of the shop and there is a parking space behind. All the grocery items are in the ground floor and the toys and other stationeries are on the first floor.The advantage we observed here is that, they have a vegetable and fruits counter inside, which is not there in Choice supermarket. They have a points system attached to the bill (but I have not redeemed it yet).Accepts cash, card and upi with 4-5 billing counter.

One stop shop , u get literally everything , play area for kids is good but the balls within it are damaged, so its better to check on it before the child enters ,as it may poke the children feet, I have informed it to the concerned authority,hope they bring some change

Excellent place.Very helpful service personnel right from parking upto management level.Excellant home delivery service following Covid protocols. Merchandise are always fresh and reliable. I have been a customer for over a year now and have never had an issue with old or post expiry merchandise. I have lived all my life in metro cities and was apprehensive about availability of products in Ottapalam. But in Royal I have been able to get stuff that are not easily available in some of the cities I have been.

I had a bitter experience from the management. Bought American sweet corns which was found to be stale. I called them and they said I should bring it which I had already disposed. But I had photographs which I sent them via WhatsApp. They asked me to go there and I was again asked to bring the corn which I already threw. Later, they agreed for a replacement. What happened was they tore the pack which comprises of 2 corn cobs and gave me one. I felt it very cheap.

You can find almost everything you need for household here and customer service is wonderful, The isle feels a bit congested though but that didnt bother much when you consider the pros. Good work guys🙂

What I hate most is the attitude of the staff .... whenever we buy any veggies or fruits they will throw it to the weighing machine intentionally to get a higher reading and this happens everyday....and its high time to give a complaint to the legal and mateorological department about this unethical practices....

Th only Hyper market in ottappalam. Almost all house hold items are available here. They do have wide range of products with ample stock and selection. Situated on Cherplassery road nearly opposite to LSN school. They do have offers on prices at times

Good supermarket in ottapalam. But some items like bulbs are more cheaper in outside shops.vegetables are not that much fresh. Hard to find eastern products. I think they have tie up with poor quality kitchen trususre products.

Had lots of items available and the staffs were helpful in finding certain items. There was a queue in the billing counters especially during peak hours as only 2 functional counters were there when we visited. Could have increased the counters. Have decent parking space infront and behind the building

We have a every bad experience with Royal even we are regular buyers they are cheating by giving wrong product intentionally when parking be careful when you buy and bring home the products. When you complete to them there attitude is bad.

Has lots of parking option, so you might to drive 1 min extra but you can get peaceful parking place on front of the shop or on the road as their wide and not busy was ottapalam main road.Everything is available under one roof and variety and price range is good. Might not have the offers to match the big national hypermarkets but a highly recommendable neighborhood hypermarket for people in around ottapalam.

Best place to get all you need for kitchen and home. Especially packed dairy products, snacks, exotic fruits and condiments.Have not explored the cloths and home appliances section much. However the crockery and kitchen accessories section appeared to be a bit average. Parking is a bit of problem if you are coming from the Cherpulasseri side. Otherwise the parking at Sengupta road can be used.Billing is efficient, friendly and fast. I once had the amount deducted feom my card twice and realized it only after reaching home. They solved it with zero hesitation and no questions. Very impressive.

Fairly well stocked grocery and veg sections. Have not tried the consumer durables on first floor. Must improve frozen foods stocks. Excellent customer service personnel is a plus.

Very good place to shop in ottapalam,Really impressed with their service.. Ordered on whatsapp at 6.30pm.. The items were delivered at home including vegetables by 7.30pm. The staff called, checked on each item vs items available in store, helped to complete the shopping on the phone call, Delivery Staff came home with card swipe machine.. It was a wonderful experience as we had travelled from bangalore and was on quarantine at home.

I had a very disappointing experience of royal hyper market....ordered and paid the bill at around 1530 today and opted for hone delivery .....i was delivered the items at 1815....around 0245hrs after order......this happened after ringing up two times....in addition i dont have much idea about your customer policy.....i had ordered for an additional 250gm ginger foe which i owed to pay on delivery....that too was not delivered........it was our first experience and very very bad experience...may your flourish with such an customer service.....

Disappointing shopping experience. They wont allow you to buy what you are looking for. Instead, they will push you to buy things with higher margin for them. Irritating staff behaviour. Cant complain about the choice, helpers are quite willing to give you a hand and as it is primarily a supermarket where you yourself have to manually pick out grocery its pretty easy and economical without unnecessary interference.

We can find a good collection of groceries, utensils electronics items etc here at a reasonable price. There is an ample parking space too. Especially those who come on the way from Shornur - Palakkad direction are blocked from going to hypermarkets in Ottapalam due to the diversion.They can easily come here and shop with out the hassle of taking a U-turn to Ottapalam town for shopping grocery items.
