The food was terrible.overpriced and value for money is terrible.I went there because it had great reviews only to find out it was dreadful.Maybe it was our luck. Because of the pandemic and all.There was only one person there, and he was the waiter/ chef and cleaned our table. He was super friendly to say the least.I think the only good experience was the service.I don’t advise anyone to go there, or not right now.maybe after the pandemic I’ll try it again hopefully I’ll have a better experience.

Soup, see-food salad from chef, shrimps with mushrooms, beef steak, four cups of Turkish tea and Cola cost 40 USD (14% tax included). Fish in the soup and salad was not tasty. Too much sauce and too few shrimps in the main dish. The steak was excellent.The biggest minus - they accept only cash. And they try to apply an unfavorably exchange rate if you pay in USD (15 Egypt pounds per USD instead of 15.7).

The place is quite elegant, noiseless, very friendly staff with a warm smile and wont mind to take photos, the decor is great as Im a fan of the Arabisk decoration and the mood is set by the amazing songs of umm kulthum, food was good. highly recommended.

Great dinner and drinks. What I appreciate the most is that they dont have someone hassling passersby in the street. That was the main reason I chose this restaurant over others on the strip

Best option this year is grilled large shrimps. They are very good wild organic growth, so polite cats will come immediately (only for that dish!) to wait if you share heads of the shrimps with them 😻 other dishes are very solid too, just note that 2020covid inflicts supply chains for everybody, so for imported or from other regions food like lobsters or lamb 2020 is not best year. I recommend to stand for that shrimps and local fish and steaks, also their soups are very good (I tried bisque and fisherman this year, other like gaspazzo and veggy soup I tried before). Suggestion: if you seat inside, ask to turn on backlight in pictures on the walls, that is VERY nice with backlight

I think Im being generous by giving three stars. Sorry I didnt take any photos. Upon arriving my friend ordered a glass of wine and when it arrived it had flies inside of the glass, floating... They are pretty conservative when it comes to portions, however, it is fair with the price. My friend and I shared a paella which had some of the rice uncooked. We also shared the salmon pasta alfredo which didnt have much flavor and the noodles were also cooked inconsistent. Lastly was the steak with shrimp which was surprisingly tasty with the gravy.

The food is good, nothing spectacular. Service charge of 12% and some tax of 14% over the menu prices was sightly misleading. The place is clean and service is good, although my order was taken wrongly.

Delicious Mixed Grills

The place is an old style arabisk 2nd floor house with an ambiance and acoustic songs that makes you feel relax and homy. The food was great and havent eaten much better food than dananeer in sharm el sheikh and they treat every costumer like an honored guests. Five stars for this resto mate. Cheers

Alas, Dananir, beloved for many years, is no longer a cake. The gourmet cuisine of previous years is gone - now it is just a passable place with amazing furniture, and as crazy as it sounds, relatively inexpensive for steaks.
