We had such a great time visiting this wonderful resort. The place is beautiful, quiet, and relaxing. I used to come down at the Sharm el-Sheikh Marriott Resort every year since 2016. I did not know if this name change would be in his favor or not. I do not deny that I was afraid to come after the name of the Marriott was changed, but I was surprised that it is still better in many things. One of the important changes is that the quality of food has improved. From the first moment, a warm welcome and all staff are smiling, they all deserve thanks. I want to thank the Reception staff, lifeguards, security, waiters, and chefs. Thanks to Mohamed Abd ElNasser Ahmed, Ahmed Ibrahim, Amr, and Chef Samir Wahba Aly for the most beautiful and delicious croissant I have never tasted in any other hotel.The man who deserves very special thanks and appreciation is Mr. Reda Abd El Wahab. From the first moment, we received a warm welcome, we loved the welcoming gift, and the smile that did not leave him, and the utmost respect and concern for each guest. What is important to him is that the guests are comfortable and happy on their vacation and there is no complaint. Moreover, The people who work under his supervision are in the utmost respect with the guests and take care of their requests. Mr. Reda always asks us if we need something or something that bothers us, he takes care of the guests. This is Mr. Reda, he is always interested in every detail that brings comfort and satisfaction to the guests.

Good hotel and the people are very cute here, animation team are funny, there are a lot of different activities during the day. The food is ordinary.

This is one of my favorite resorts to stay at when I come into town. The staff is very helpful and super nice. The rooms are very clean, they have a lot of accommodations. The breakfast is very good. They are close to the beach, and there are a lot of beautiful views from here. Highly recommended for tourists!

The hotel has a great view and location, it also has variety of services, many shops are open around it and you can talk a lovely bight walk by the beach day or night.

Very friendly staff, they really want to help you and really care about how the guest feels. Mountain view part of the hotel requires a renovation. Beach front rooms were probably renovated several years ago. Also there are much less options for dining in Mountain view comparing to the Beach front, but anyway you wont stay hungry.The location of the resort is excellent, just several minutes walking to the main touristic street in the Naama bay. I definitely recommend the Beach front part of this Marriott, you wont regret!

I would recommend it 100% the only downfall is that there arent no accessibility lifts etc.Everyone have to use the stairs.Besides that. The food was greatStaff were friendly too and room service was greatLocation is good too. Next to the beach.If you have a disabled person with you then dont go here.Gym facilities were excellent too

I stayed at this hotel back in 2018. The whole staying was a nightmare. I do not like to complain while on holiday but this time I had to. Service was not good, food was defintely not from a 5 stars restaurant, the facilities are old, broken and dirty overall. Wouldnt suggest it to anyone.

Good hotel, with excellent service. Sandy beach, almost no stones and coral. Optionally, you can see the adjacent beach. Practicing animators (gymnastics, volleyball, aqua aerobics). The room is clean, clean, pretty good. The only disadvantage is that the hotel is old enough, which is noticeable on furniture and plumbing. Overall, the hotel is good. The service is excellent.

Incredible resort that’s really well managed. I stayed in a suite on the ground floor was was huge and beautifully appointed. The on site restaurants are great - even the buffet restaurant; which sometimes lets places down. Loved the custom made omelettes for breakfast. The Pools are well looked after and don’t get ridiculously busy. It’s close enough to the beach to make that an easy visit - and it’s a great beach; amazing snorkelling. Short taxi ride to the old town and main town, both with plenty to do and see (&eat!)

The great things about this resort are — the friendly and hard working staff, location, food variety, comfortable beds, feather pillows, and beer on the beach.Although it’s a bit dated, the seaside hotel had everything we needed and was very comfortable.Don’t forget to tip the staff.

One is star is more than enough for a place like that. I booked through Nakhal travel agency and I asked for a 5 stars hotel on a beach. They gave me this room and its mountain view and you need to cross a wide street in order to go to the beach. The rooms are very cheap and old. I asked to replace the room they said I cant. I dont blame the employees there. They were nice but they couldnt do anything. Its too bad for a name like Marriott to be like that.

Best location in Naama bay. It directly links the sea to the main street; it is 5 min from Naama main street of pubs, restaurants and shopping center. The hotel rooms are decent and the food is also good. The staff are helpful and nice. We faced a problem in our room, the water in our room was brownish and dirty, the reception moved us to another room but the problem was the same. Overall it is a good hotel.

Marriott Sharm revisited after the last stay I had here 4 years ago. I remember staying here 4 years ago and saying to myself, wow this place is outdated and definitely needs a refurbishment I yet again came after the 4 years and find the resort is still the same, if not worse. I dont understand how this is a Marriott property, it is definitely not in line with what I have come to expect from Marriott.I would say that the worst part of my stay was the food. My family and I opted for the all-inclusive option (at first), breakfast was decent, a good variety of options are available, as well as omelette station, pancake and waffle. The food gets worse, next is lunch, totally terrible, and the dinner! I was in shock of the offerings. I dont understand how this has 5 stars from the ministry of tourism. I would honestly rate it at 2 stars until things shape up.Marriott please address this property and give it a great overhaul to bring it to one of the best resorts in Sharm. I will say that the staff that I had interactions with were all courteous and friendly. I also did inquire about any room upgrades for being a Platinum Elite, and I was given some sort of upgrade, which Im still not sure if it was an upgrade or not, but I was given complimentary breakfast for my family and I for being an elite.

Overall, nice place to stay, but there are two main restrictions that are really annoying. The first is no food allowed from outside places; they even give you a hard time if you leftovers from an outside restaurant. Ive never been to a hotel with such a ridiculous restriction. The other is the pool closes at 6 pm. The beach also closes at 6 pm, but apparently thats a national security thing to protect tourists from attacks? But theres no reason for the pool to also close at 6. And if anything, thats more reason to make sure the pool STAYS OPEN past 6 pm. Also, the food that we ate for breakfast is okay, not bad, but not great.

I had a day use in this hotel guy in recreation was very helpfull at the beach while the one in the bar at beach is working with unpolit way no serving at the beach. The waiter in italian res very polit and he gave us good service but furnture is very old in the res. Plus the pool not clean i can see the dirty in the side of walls while the hotel not very busy.

It is good hotel, but not what I expected from Marriot. Clean and large rooms, but do not provide all what other 5 stars hotels do, like slippers and free water bottles. Good pool an beach. Very good services specially front disk. Break fast good varieties, but I didnt like the Italian restaurant food.

The resort located just in the middle of naema bay, it’s a unique hotel overseeing the Red Sea with a perfect private beach.. the swimming pool and the resort Restaurants delivering the best traveling experience for leisure and business, the staff are friendly and the managers were very professional and hostile.10 to 15 minutes walking it’s also near a huge market full of shops, coffeeshops and restaurants that added up to my pleasure

This hotel was disappointing. For context, ive rated every other hotel weve stayed at in egypt either 4 or 5 stars. This was the only one that I felt wasnt worth the price of admission. Upon arrival, we recieved very little assistance. Nobody helped with our luggage, and we waited a long time to check in (I have marriott gold status, and am used to feeling like our presence is appreciated). My wife felt that the male employees all ignored her, and only welcomed/greeted me. This really upset her, as she felt she definately did not feel welcomed (particularly egregious as this was our honeymoon). For example, we were together, and the staff would only say welcome sir, or enjoy your stay, sir. It is possible that this was a language issue, but more likely that it was a bit sexist. The hotel makes it clear that you are not allowed to bring any outside food or drinks into the room. Meanwhile, they try to sell you everything from water to snacks (the prices are expensive even by US standards). The room was okay, but there were some bugs. The breakfast was free, but not worth the cost of your appetite. Much of the food tasted spoiled or rotten. I can make better falafel with canned ingredients, and Im from New York. We had a good laugh when a nearby Egyptian couple asked the manager to smell his food, insisting that it was gross. I dont understand why in a country where amazing food only costs a couple of US dollars, a 5 star hotel can have such low quality food. Really, it was gross. Im not even picky, I eat street food, and love it. My review is negative only because this hotel claims to be a 5 star hotel, and it is not cheap. I give this hotel 2 stars (instead of 1) because some of the staff members were nice, and the poor quality of the breakfast gave us a good laugh.

The beautiful scenery, the serene environment. The kind people? Place is clean. They have a beach at the second hotel branch.Security is tight you know. Theres a checkin whenever you are entering the place. However I felt they had cameras watching me in the bedroom. It was so unreal but i felt it. We can not forget that they have good AC, the gym and spa are purely complementary and the place is strategically located near namabay and not far from places to visit like Farnar, old market etc.

The location is beautiful, the amenities are spectacular. and for the most part the service is good. Aside from a few dysfunctional or simply incompetent employees. Who leaves the sheets on a chair next to the bed after changing them? Why were the toiletries never replenished? If i could go back and reconsider my choice i would have made my stay at novatel or sharm dream. If you do decide to stay note the employee’s demeanor upon checking in and the difference in attitude as the day you check out approaches. I’m am extremely disappointed in what is supposed to be one of the more popular “5 star” resorts in the area.

Very clean hotel with pools and a private beach. The hotels location is super, about 10min from Sharm el sheikhs airport. The sea is nice and clean, there is a small coral reef right in front of the beach with beautiful coloured fish. The food is good, but be careful to choose the Egyptian dishes, they are better cooked than the international ones. All in all perfect for a beach vacation.

I loved staying at the Marriott (mountain side) it was a friendly and welcoming stay, good service and staff were very polite and was always willing to help me out with issues. The food was presented nicely but of poor quality. It was a relaxing stay and will be coming back to the Marriott in the summer.

Wonderful resort, has multiple restaurants and pools, and the beach area was clean and not too crowded. A close walk to any other shopping or restaurants as well. Friendly staff and very secure property, highly recommended!!

Water is scarce in Sharm El Sheikh, you can buy the drinking water and it is very reasonabl to buy however this resort instead of raising the price when you make a reservation they choose to make you beg for it and they will not offer you a drop of water to drink. They offer you coffee however in order to make coffee you have to buy water first as their water is not drinkable. The resort is dated however not bad except i noticed some of the blankets are stained with lipstick. The staff is semi friendly, the pool is not heated, service is very slow, the buffet is terrible however sort of edible again you have to buy water when you are visiting the buffett as you can eat all the food you want but water they would not give you or offer you a drop of water.When we bought our tickets. Attending their new year party was imposed on us, they said if you staying at their resort you must purchase tickets to attend or don’t bother. My wife and i agreed to do so however the performers were so terrible and if that was not enough their sound system was very statickey it even blew up in smoke at one time, the main singer was so bad that my wife and i decided to leave and celebrate the new year in our room instead of dealing with this terrible ordeal. Many other nicer resorts elsewhere go somewhere else.

Nicely located but this property is not up to par. I would recommend the better-priced Novotel down the road for better service and nicer facilities.We have been disappointed by the food, quality of service and facilities of this Marriott.

Great place with large swimming pool; has a family vibe. Highly recommend for families. Singles looking to have a wild trip would enjoy a better stay at neighbouring hotels with more lenient policies.

Food quality and variety not as expected from Marriott, food standards cant be valued more than 3-4 stars hotels,besides the food were the same every day ,so boring !!! otherwise every thing is very good ,I I have been there from 27-29 Oct-2018 I forgot the room floor is ceramic tiles and no slippers offered which was so silly and inhumane

The front desk is amazing. Everybody is always asking if there is anything they can do to make my stay better. Its a great place to relax or be active. Definitely recommend

It was my first time in Egypt ,November 25th-December 4th, the weather was amazing : +26-28 Celsius, the sea +24 ! The hotel is amazing : the staff is very friendly, everything is clean , food is great ! The beach is awesome , one of the biggest in Naama Bay , has corals and very nice sand entrance so you dont need special rubber shoes. The animators were amazing , always so much fun! Thanks to all of them for such an amazing experience!!!

A lot of things wrong with this hotel. But to begin with, it is not up to Marriott standards! Not even close!Positives - Price is reasonable (£420 for 6nights)- Room cleaners are fantastic andpolite (A very welcome GoodMorning- Security are very welcoming andpolite- Beach staff are great! Everyonethere is very helpful, polite andkind.- Close to Naama bay andsupermarketsNegatives -The booking process is not very clear and can be misleading. The Marriott is based on both sides of the road!!! - One side is beach, one side is mountain.We were not given help to carry our luggage up the two flights of stairs (No elevators)Mini bar was empty - not even complimentary water0 information about the hotel in the room. Ie. Opening/closing times, sites, ativities at hotel, etc. No Do not disturb door sign.Ice gets ordered to your room for free. Amazing!! However, it comes in a plastic bag.Breakfast buffet is terrible. Limited options that never rotate or change.The getting a pool/beach towel process is awful. The system uses towel cards, which is fine. But you cannot return your towel to any of the three towel areas, it has to be the exact same one, which is hugely unnecessary anf inconvenient.The biggest inconvenience. Hotels I have always usually stayed at, if youre not All inclusive you can put drinks, food, whatever onto the room bill, signing a cheque with your room number and signature and pay when you leave. However, the Marriott function by putting credit on your room in order to buy from the bar, restaurant, etc. Again inconvenient and annoying.ATMS in hotel are rubbish for foreign cards. Youll be lucky to get money out of the machines in the hotel .Will not be staying here again. Which is a real shame as some of the staff deserve better as some were great.

An excellent hotel, with excellent attentive staff. Locating is superb on Naama Bay!Food at the buffet restaurant was better than expected.Rooms are spacious and cosy.Beach is directly accessible in a prime spot.10 mins from the airport, 7 mins com the Old Market and 15 mins from the main sea port!Only negative was the pool temperature, way too cold even in the childs 60cm pool.

Overall we had a pleasant stay but our expectations the hotel might have been a bit too high. The hotel might be one of the nicer ones in Sharm, but dont expect a true Marriott quality experience.Prices are a bit steep as well, e.g. 45 EGP for a 1L water bottle from the mini bar, 45 EGP for a 0.5L beer (local) in the pool bar.Staff is friendly and helpful, and all in all we had an enjoyable week here.

We stayed here for 4 days in Marriott mountain.Food is average. Slight modification each day but food is the same.Beware of:-Staff that tell you that you need a special card for getting towels. Theres no such thing as a white card. Theyre trying to get extra money.-Water bottles are served for free only during Lunch and Dinner.-Rooms are Very old. They dont even have LCD screens.-Dishes and Cups are always dirty. ( Found a cup that has lipstick still on it)-There will always someone trying to convince you buying activities from him (This is so frustrating).-Icecream ? There is only strawberry flavor.-Toilet seats leaking water.-The mini fridge is empty and not cold.-Ordering a fruits plate is useless. ( nothing but water melon, peach, bananas and strawberries.I dont recommend this hotel at all.

This resort were and still the best- if you like the ocean view and access to ocean water with less to zero wave, this is the place to go- Also the staff and front desk as well as the restaurant staff are the best, beside the variety of food !!!! Looking forward to go next year !!!!!

Nice place to relax in front of the sea or swimming pool. On Marna Bay and close to the walking area and shopping street. There are some shops where u can get what is needed for your stay breakfast and Dinner variety of food.

Amazing location , hospitality , food , recriation , friendly & very safe amazing area around the hotel in naama bay & all Sharm Elshikh city . Many activities you can do it like Safary , dinner cruise or all day trip in the red see as well as diving & snorkling Sharm El-Shikh is one of the best for diving & snorkling & very good prices , my 10 years old son did the scupa diving & was very amazed & want do it again & again , also he was ridding the Segway X2 & I2 which you can rent them at thier location or order them to your hotel or ride it to your hotel like a taxi . We enjoyed fresh catch of the day sea food ...oh my God as well as grilled food egyptian way & diffrent kind of oriental & meditrinian food .Everywhere we go either in Sharm elsheikh or Cairo egyptian pepole were very friendly , helpfull and welcome us as American , Egyptians have very warm friendly attitude . We would like to do again & we will next year.

Dont come here for your holidays. The hotel should be demolished soon. Its a 25 years old and is a testament to antiquity. The place is in poor condition. This place has no charm and you can see cracks everywhere.Surprisingly the halls and rooms are clean.

The place was very dirty and the quality was very bad !!!! Service was slow and over all quality was disappointing!! I was shocked that the hotel was a marriot ... may be the rating in egypt and Sharm are different !!! Was - 5 stars !!!! Staff here is so friendly and well trained specially with families who has kids , big rooms and comfortable accommodation, easy access to the swimming pool which is great and the beach , but some furniture needs to be changed , and the wifi is free in the lobby and the swimming pool and the beach only not in the rooms, i will return here if i visit sharm again .

The worst hotel in sharm i stayed in i had JBL speaker the security told me its not allowed to enter to the hotel he tried to take it from my hand by force when o told him i am going to talk to reception i cancelled my reservation after 1 night..the restaurant so dirty...breakfast is garbage i headed to grand rotana and spend my vacation there which is wonderful...never never stay in mariott resort

It was pretty gross and outdated. I snagged a suite thinking that it would be at the higher end of their offerings but it was gross. The furniture looks like one might find in hotels from the early 90s when everything had markings from cigarette smoking (which was rampant throughout).

The hotel is very near and convenience to the downtown wheres all restaurants and coffee shop concentrating, friendly staff and helpful, the buffet for breakfast and dinner was a little poor of western food,the only thing not very good is the cleanliness but considering the desert around can be forgiving, I will be back again.

Hotel facilities and location are excellent but their waiters in the restaurant are very insolent and misbehave with turists.I will never stay in this resort again.
