Excellent trip ...Aswan old Cataract is amazing..very prestigious palace..excellent service and excellent food..Staff are very welcoming and friendly especially Mr Ahmed from food and beverage..Mr Osama and Mrs Nada in the reception..I came from Quebec to visit this wonderful small paradise and I will repeat the experience again
Very decentSeveral food places and clean bathrooms
Decent small town airport. ✈️ stop on the Tarmac and transfer to terminal is by bus. 🚌Arrival is quick and short. Bags take a time to arrive.Departures is small. Security upon entry. Then checkin counters. Then final security before boarding area. All gates connected in common area to sit in. Gets a bit crowded if there’s a couple of flights waiting to take off.Decent food and drinks available. Few souvenir shops also present.
Good airport.... at the gates you have a coffee shop, pizzeria, clean toilets and plenty of seats
Nice quiet well arranged airport
Far from city , noticed some students on the way walking long distance and no transportation !!!
DO NOT BRING ANY ADVANCED TECH PRODUCTS LIKE GOPRO OR DRONE!!!! The airport people took away our GoPro for no reason!!!!! I don’t know what they were trying to do to us or why they got so freaked out about GoPro. We flew through Germany and Cairo. Both Germany and Cairo didn’t say anything about GoPro but Aswan airport people got so freaked out about it and confiscated our GoPro! I guess uneducated and barbaric people just really have not seen modern day technology. They were being very rude and made us almost miss our flight. I’d say our entire Egypt trip was very very disappointing. Egyptian people were the most disappointing of all. All the hawks harassing us nonstops + Aswan airport people. Sad to see an old civilization end up like this. I’ll never visit Egypt again and will tell all my friends and family to not to visit Egypt.
Enjoyed every second of my visit to Aswan. Clean and organised airport. Thank you for your hospitality.
Small airport but clean and good. Less options of food.
Very clean and organised small airport

Great facilities and easy to access
Nice and quiet airport
👍
Small airport. Didnt wait long for baggage. Didnt leave from here so no idea what that is like. Recommend to fly if coming from Cairo, its the same cost as the train if not cheaper and it only takes under 2 hours.
Quick and easy, efficient airport
Was fine, real clean.
Flew here from Cairo, the airport is clean and well after. The TSA guards wouldnt allow us to board with a sealed bottle of wine, instead of tossing the bottle out they allowed us to drink it right there. All around cool experience.
Timing is fineCafe is not offering tasty drinks
Five stars
Very nice
I just wanted to thank Ahmed for his attention and care on our visit to Aswan Airport. We visited Aswan in April 2019, as a family of four from England, and were so impressed with the airport, it was clean and well kept and we felt very safe and well looked after. We were very impressed with the cleanliness when we were waiting for our departure flight. We met Mr Ahmed Halwany and he was very polite, professional and attentive. He was very observant dealing with any issues that arose and responded to our queries with the utmost helpfulness, we felt most welcome. He insured that the buses to the aircraft ran smoothly. We are planning a return visit to Aswan and hope to meet Mr Ahmed Halwany again.Sarah Nicholas
Quite and clean
Small airport but got you where you needed to go.
Aswan Internstional Airport is a reasonable airport for a small town. You will pass security three times, even for domestic flights - once in the taxi, once entering the airport, and once entering the departure gates. There is no free (nor paid) WiFi, which is inconvenient.Passengers must take a shuttle bus to the aeroplane on the tarmac.Taxi services organised through the hotel should cost 150-200EGP. Taxis (refer to Careem app) ordered from the street cost 50-100EGP.
Basic airport for those that are flying outta here. I had a early morning flight. There is a toll for those that drive in. My cabbie tried to get me to pay it, but I paid the hotel a fair price already so I rejected him after I got my bags as I had no cash left. No tip either, gezz. Id take the even training next time and fly from Cairo.
We arrived at Aswan airport from Cairo on Jan 2 to take a cruise from Aswan to Luxor. We basically walked from the airplane to the baggage area. Cute little area for the luggage. Very simple and close to the gate. People coming to see you can basically see you while you are collecting your luggage
Worst airport in Egypt
Nothing special
Good airport, everything super efficient.
Amazing
DOMESTIC ARRIVIALClean toilets in baggage collection area. There are no toilets outside so use them before you leave.Baggage comes out quickly as it is a small airport.Taxi from airport to Aswan ferry (near town)should be 100 egp (as advised by our hotel). We couldnt haggle any lower than 120 egp. It is a 25 minute journey.
Very simple and comfortable
Aswan International Airport, also known as Daraw Airport, is an airport located 16 km southwest of Aswan, Egypt. It was built in 1956 and upgraded in 1992 and 1999 by the Egyptian government.
People are so friendly, professional, the place was clean and organized.
Small. Quick. Easy!
Its clean.
A small airport mainly for domestic passengers with few international flights. Well maintained and reasonably clean.
Small Airport, have No lounge and our ticket is in business 🤷♀️Well maintained and reasonably clean
Modest, but clean and tidy and good treatment
Great and friendly staff with professional security
Bad place
Great place service wonderful peopleSure visit it
Cool place
Olwes agree
Only food option is a Sbarro with obscene prices. Bring your own food. The rest was fine for a small airport.
Good place, just need more services and stores
Nice service
No organization in the security control. Both of them with longs queues and flight delays for this.
Nice and modern facilities
It is clean and tidy so quit
Land of gold
Small airport, security would need to be reinforced i think and infrastructures improved
Watch out for the taxi drivers they are huge con artists. They will try to rip you off.
Organized and very big
Good airport, may play important role in improving tourism in Aswan.
Has smoking section near gates automatically 5 star review from me
Not busy
Limited things to do, No lounge, no surrounding shops, one cafeteria with exaggerated prices and a few gift shops
One One of amazing international air ports in Egypt i was fly from it one time. And i fill comfort
