It is an amazing place, not as popular as some other sites, but better preserved and mystical. We will visit again as need at least one whole day, so much to explore

Its an amazing temple, the best one Ive seen in terms of preservation, colors and details. The feminine soul also dominates the temple since its the temple of Hathour, the goddess of beauty and goodness. The first seven days of the life of a baby born also have its own room full of drawing of the mother taking care of the baby. The astronomical demonstration of the stars is also greatly drawn on the ceiling of one of the rooms. Nut the sky goddess is also taking a big part of the drawings specially the ceiling of the main hall.It a real wonder, part of this temple lies in the metropolitan in New York and another part is in Paris. I strongly recommend it for history followers. But try to rent a car from Luxor to take you there better than using the normal transportation paths.

Interior of this small site is dark a little and high, I think it is nicer from the outside; whereas it is full of engravements, from top to bottom, ceiling, everything, it is fascinating. It is nice too walking all around the exterior aisle between the building itself and the colonnade. Unfortunately, none of the pictures shows this temple but I provide some herein.

Very intact temple dedicated to Hathor. Unfortunately, many of the engravings have been defaced over time. Still well worth seeing while at Dendara

Very cool place! Not everything has been restored yet, and that is why it is very interesting! You can see the story as it is…. No worse than the Luxor Temple!

For those who are in the vicinity of Luxor definitely a place to see, I always speak for lovers of Egyptian history. With a small tip to the museum staff you will be able to see something more and I guarantee you that it is worth it.

I hope that my review will be useful to someone. I want to immediately draw additional attention and warn that this is a pagan temple. In this temple, there is still just terrible energy (especially in the catacombs and the room for mummification). If you don’t want problems in life or, at least, a headache after a visit, then I recommend limiting yourself to an inspection from the outside.

An interesting historical monument. Just an incredibly large temple, which is quite well preserved to this day. I will not say that it is worth flying there today, but if you are nearby, come and visit.

A small temple not really exceptional, however, its entrance is grouped with the entrance of another temple which is worth it. The 2 temples being side by side go see it.

One of the best Egyptian temples, which enjoys an excellent state of preservation, is the center of the cult of the goddess Hathor. It must be visited after the restoration and cleaning work that took place on the ceiling of the hall of columns, an incredible thing.

Painting in ancient EgyptDandara Temple is one of the most beautiful and brightest Egyptian temples, which still retains its bright colors as if it was designed yesterday.Always when he mentions painting, you think of Da Vinci and his paintings of Mona Lisa or Michelangelo and the ceiling of the Sistine Chapel or Picasso and his painting of Three Musicians or Van Gogh and his painting The Potato Eaters. As is well known to everyone, the ancient Egyptian writing (hieroglyphics) was a drawing. The ancient Egyptian used drawing on the walls to depict daily life, battles, victories, holidays, etc. The ancient Egyptian drew on the walls of temples, houses, tombs, obelisks, and others. We all know that many tombs and walls retain their color since more than 3000 BCWhere the ancient Egyptians were able to invent a special color for the Egyptians, which is the Egyptian blue color and its chemical name is calcium copper silicate (CaCuSi4O10).The red color is caused by iron oxide.White color resulting from gypsum. The black color produced by charcoal. The green color is caused by copper carbon. The yellow color resulting from the yellow ocher of sandstones, where a bag of yellow color was discovered in the tomb of Tutankhamun in 1922 AD.He also invented a substance to stabilize the color of egg yolk. From here begins the process of drawing on the walls. The stone surface, such as the wall, is prepared to be level using limestone. The entire surface is painted white with the use of the color stabilizer resulting from the egg yolk. The Egyptian creator begins by dividing the wall or the painting into squares according to the drawing. For example, if he draws a person, the number of squares will be 19 squares in length and 6 squares in width, which means that the person has a total of 114 squares, and this is called his scale. If the drawing was an animal the size of a dog for example, its height would be 6 and its length 10 Which means that the dog has a sum of 60 squares, and this is what is called its scale. Each drawing had its own scale. Then the ancient Egyptian artist begins to draw details with high accuracy and draw fine lines. Then the coloring process begins, using water colors and a brush made of fibers to color the drawings.§ All these operations were carried out by groups of Egyptian artists, with high accuracy and professionalism, and this appears so far in tombs, temples, and others.§ One of the most famous drawings on the tombs is the tomb of Queen Nefertari, the wife of King Ramses II. Upon entering it, you feel as if you were in ancient Egyptian times. It is a time machine that took you to ancient Egyptian times, where it retains its untouched strength, which dates back to approximately 1255 BC.Egypt is not the first to start art only, but wrote art in the name of the Egyptians
