The most important thing about the Nile Sky Suites Hotel is its location and the view from its rooms over the Nile !! At least half of its rooms have a view of the Nile, but it is better to take care of this in advance. And the view from the 17th floor is wonderful !! Considering the fact that 2 floors of the base are not counted, but together take off it turns out to be the 19th floor with a beautiful view of the Nile, the bridge of the Cairo University, the Opera !!The breakfast is purely Arabic. Liked the pancakes with herbs. French fries too.The European breakfast should be mentioned separately. The Nile Sky Suites Hotel features the stylish Hi-Teck style renovation youd expect to find in New York or Holland. Pink ceilings, or rather pink ceiling lighting is great !! The electrics are generally at a very good level. Very comfortable bedside light switches, which frankly and positively surprised.Everything worked fine except the safe. It turned out that in addition to the code, you also need to use the key. It worked great back then with double security. In general, the construction stylist clearly worked on the Nile Sky Suites Hotel. Perhaps he did not complete everything, did not bring everything together, but the positive persistence was noticeable, What is the tile in showers with locomotive motifs in black and white a la the middle or more precisely the first third of the XX century !!After a shower, there was a place to rest not only on the beds, but also on the armchairs. And then it was necessary to do what “Nile Sky Suites Hotel” is needed for - independent walks around Cairo in general and to the Pyramids in particular !!! This is what Nile Sky Suites Hotel is best suited for....We chose “Nile Sky Suites Hotel”, because when leaving the building right next to the Salah El-Din Mosque (مسجد صلاح الدين) on Al Sarayya Street there is a stop for the new yellow M7 buses, which go straight almost to the Great Pyramids of Giza and the Sphinx immediately across the Cairo University Bridge, the Giza metro and bus junction and further along Al Haram Street. And for only 15 ₤ E.It is better to buy water or Fanta before walking right at the exit from the entrance of the house where the Nile Sky Suites Hotel is located, from a seller who sells right on the street near the wall of the house. His drinks are in the fridge, which is right for the heat. A 0.5 liter bottle of water costs 3 ₤ E. A 1-liter bottle of Fanta costs 12 ₤ E, while at the Pyramids it already costs 20 ₤ E.Nearby, they sell shawarma in different types to choose from.If you are afraid to eat local food, the path will be a little more difficult, since we found the nearest KFC and Pizza hut 500 meters away, near the Abbas Bridge on El Rawda Street (٣٧ ، El-Rawda, Al Manyal Al Gharbi, Cairo Governorate) near the Total gas station. But KFC works only from 11.00 to 03.00 at night, that is, it is good after the trips. “Pizza hut” opens at exactly 11.00, but instead of chicken legs when ordering “Trio” there were only chicken, which was not satisfying. Pizza is also not a strong point of Arabic cuisine. On the positive side, the uneaten food was quickly packed into a takeout box. Therefore, our choice is KFC with pleasant and understandable Twisters for 46 ₤ E, with Pepsi-Cola, French fries.Loved the 100 ₤ E Shrimp set with rice and cabbage salad. Both KFC and Pizza hut have air conditioners. From them or to them, to the Pyramids or from the Pyramids, there is the same modern M11 bus, which is also very convenient. You shouldnt be afraid of the Cairo traffic jams. Buses run on a par with minibuses or even faster. They are frankly safer for independent travel. Equipped with air conditioning. And most importantly, which is important for modern travelers, they have USB sockets !! There are not many people, as for locals 15 ₤ E for a city trip is expensive, but its only $ 0.20 !!If you want to get cheaper, there are blue buses, where the trip costs only 5 ₤ E, and the childs ride costs only 1 ₤ E.A soft minibus ride to Pyramids costs 10 ₤ E, but it turns around much earlier than buses. Therefore, our choice for moving around Cairo is new buses and metro!...
