The worst museum I have ever visited in my life. The only positive was the security guard out front, he was friendly.Dont waste your time or money.
Just a very small in & out tunnel.. not worth the go unless ur one of history fans.. they had couple of maps and some military stuff that belongs to Rommel since his attempt to invade Egypt. The tunnel was his leadership center.. it barely goes over 10 meters.. so dont expect a Woow effect. It has been refurbished recently so it seems good for first comers.
Very nice place, keeps clothing, map and weapon of the desert foam Sir Rome. The ticket price of Egyptians 10 pounds, and Egyptian students are 5 pounds.
Its worst time. Small museum
This museum in Rommel beach , they say that it was a place where Rommel was staying in . But now it is a museum for his cloth and some photos explaining the war machines used at the second world war
Just tunnel in to small room and out with some old guns and clothes thats all , dont expect museum experience.
Great place, needs serious attention !! Glass showcases had humidity and water drops inside!
Not more to see
Really small... Not really worth the visit

Nice place
A mazing place
Good place
The cave itself is not large and strong, its contents are prepared on the fingers, as described in the pictures, in a card before the beaches area (3 EGP per person, 5 EGP for the car), this is not the ticket (20 EGP per adult) for entering the cave itself, except that there is no guide Tourist, it is a shrine without any guidance, admitting that frankly the place is small for a guide, but it must be mentioned
One of the best museum on the Marsa MatrouhI Like this placeVery sweet, cheap, strong to eat, and you will know strange things about World War IIUnfortunately, it is very small, a corridor of about 50 metersOne of the best museum on the Marsa MatrouhI Like this placeVery sweet, cheap, strong to eat, and you will know strange things about World War IIUnfortunately, it is very small, a corridor of about 50 metersOne of the best museum on the Marsa MatrouhI Like this placeVery sweet, cheap, strong to eat, and you will know strange things about World War IIUnfortunately, it is very small, a corridor of about 50 meters
Egypt has many monuments dating back to the Second World War, and Rommels hideout in the Mersa Matruh Governorate is a testament to that era of military history.Rommels Cave is among the natural caves excavated in the mountains interior. It dates back to the Greco-Roman era, and takes the form of an arch with an entrance and exit at one end at the cliff overlooking a beach of the same name. The Rommel Cave Museum, which is unique in Egypt, is located on the Rommel peninsula in Marsa Matruh, where German General Erwin Rommel took it as a headquarters and developed war plans during World War II.In 1977, the idea came to transform the cave into a museum as a tourist and archaeological site.
Do not be there - for fans of the Second World War - a great loss;). There was no service for the cave, because we were too early. The police let us in, saying youll pay for the tickets later. Thanks to this we could enter, touch, see, calmly feel the atmosphere of the Rommel Cave, where the fate of the war in North Africa was inevitable. The ticket, after the arrival of service - it cost about 10 pounds, or about 4.5 zlotys. for two people
The Rommel Museum includes a set of military weapons that were used during the Second World War and a map of the military sites, along with the belongings of the unique German commander Rommel who took the cave as the headquarters. .This Rommel Cave is one of the natural caves in the governorate of Marsa Matruh, engraved in the interior of the mountain and dates back to the Greco-Roman era, and is in the form of an arc with entrance and exit at the terminal at the slope that overlooks the beach. The German general Rommel chose him the cave to be his headquarters during the Second World War, and in 1997, the idea of converting the cave into a museum came as a tourist and archeological site.German general RommelHe is one of the leaders of the Second World War, and he is known as the Desert Fox, and he was seen as one of the most skilled leaders in the Desert War. He was born on November 15, 1891, and committed suicide on October 14, 1944.
I did not have the opportunity to visit it, but when I visited the museum, I knew that it was a cave in which Rommel was hiding in a state of war, so it is better to change the name to a cave or a crypt and not a museum because it is very small
It is a rocky cave located on an island in front of Rommel Beach in the city of Marsa Matrouh. It was the first to be used by Field Marshal Erwin Rommel during the Second World War and he took the headquarters and residence for himself while he was in the city of Marsa Matrouh. The Egyptian government is still preserving it and the existing antiquities in order to attract tourism and tourists to this region, which is rich in memories of the battles of North Africa during World War II.
The first time I visit it is a small but beautiful place and it needs more publicity because people dont know it and everyone comes to Rommel Beach without knowing that there is a cave and a museum for Rommel there
It needs developing and adding new ideas in order to make optimal use of the museum, which is missing a lot
Beautiful, but very short and does not have much exhibits. Those who want to go know that it will be finished in two minutes
Great historical landmark worth visiting
The place is sweet, but the content is poor.
Very simple and very small place but good for history buffs
A tourist landmark that was ruined due to lack of timely maintenance, which resulted in the loss of important possessions under the rubble and the remaining exhibits after the renovation are not worthy of this famous landmark and not worth a visit
It is located on the island of Roe Mill, in front of the eastern port of Marsa Matrouh, about 2.5 km away from itIt is a cave in the belly of the mountain and contains some of the belongings of the German commander Rommel, donated by the son of the German commanderIt reflects the course of the decisive battle of El-Alamein, and thousands of foreign tourists visit the museum annually, and it includes a collection of weapons, tanks and ammunition for the joint forces in World War II, as well as maps on the course of the battles
A very modest place not worth the one paying the entry fee of the whole subject Two pictures of Romille with the remnants of belongings and the science of Nazism and Baltu with a cam and a pale map and a whole corridor on some 100 meters
Rommel MuseumThe Desert Fox, Ervin Rommel, was one of Hitlers most cunning captain, but in the famous Battle of El Alamein, he was defeated by the English commander, Montgomery.A large hall inside the mountain with an entrance on one side and an exit on the other side, with some Rommels belongings such as a Rommel paintball, personal pistol, and some maps.Grocery 6 years, closed for renewal
There are only 3 places for photography and entry at a very low price
Fantastic museum
A very nice
Nice place with Rommels belongings
Very few exhibits would have been better supported by some other holdings or a screen displaying videos of Rommel and the battles
The museum is a simple tunnel, and it was Rommels hideout in the El-Alamein war, and it contains his personal weapons, war maps and his military uniform
Just a 20 meter walkway with a map and 3 vattresses .. no great need means
The Koise Museum and the beach are very suitable for families and children
Beautiful beach
The most important thing about this place is its location and you can take pictures of the amazing sunrise
Not bad
It is enough for us to proudly ... Egypt combines the whole history ...
A very beautiful beach, especially for young children
Not exciting
A wonderful beach, especially for children
The coolest beach in Matruh and the people in it are respected
The place is fine, but the museum is ordinary
The museum is for an important person, but the holdings are few
Sweet
Corridor and room. Does not live up to the word museum. Not worth a visit
It is part of history and needs attention and development for this era of history !!
Inside Matrouh, the beach is excellent for kids
Very fun, Hwa and Mih
Good and need more attention
Pitched no one goes
