I know Mohamed Mustafa for almost ten years now. He educated me, my daughters and my wife. He is a talented teacher and perfect dive instructor. I am so much looking forward to the next dives with him in October. :)

Modi, one of the two brothers who run the business, and his team were absolutely great. I arranged a very last minute trip to Egypt and Modi was quick to respond to questions and help to organise some of the logistics. During my stay he went out of his way to help and together with his team he made sure I and the other divers had great fun and some brilliant dives. Great SCUBA equipment as well and reasonably priced. They were also professional and made sure that the divers in the group stuck to the limits of their qualification, and whereas for me some of the dives could have been a bit more challenging as my qualifications allow, I appreciate a dive centre who considers the experience / level of the people they take on a dive. A sign of a professional centre! Constructive bit of feedback? On a few days we were in the water behind other dive groups, and personally I like to be first. I would not hesitate to use Modi and his team again!

It was my first time connect with diving and 100% sure not the last one. Monika is fully professional in organizational matters. Additional benefit apart from diving is lot of interesting information about Egypt, culture, people. You will be not able to find in books. Montana is a really good underwater guide. I had the pleasure to meet Muhammad Mustafa on a terrible Liveaboard. We booked him as a guide for our group and he worked absolute tirelessly to improve everything around us in long negotiations with the crew even though nothing was his fault. Hes a super relaxed but responsible guide with an eye for detail and the goal to always improve you as a diver and to make you feel welcome in his group. Thank you for everything! I definitely recommend Deep South Divers, especially if you are starting your diving journey. I was a complete beginner, but because of Montana as a teacher, I loved diving. Everything was perfectly organized.

It was on the first most safe approach we could have. Excellent prepared, equipment always well serviced. I did with Deep South 10 dives and all of them was wonderful. Diving from shores, zodiac, boat. Last five in the cave was magic. Additional on our trip we met delphines which made a day. Strongly recommend.

My first diving experience with this diving center and it felt immediately right. Instructor Muhammad Heikal is a great teacher, he puts emphasis on things that are important for your safety and makes you feel confident about your skills. I did a Padi OWD course and strongly recommend it to anyone who starts ones journey with diving to do it with deepsouth divers. Helpfull staff, good gear with all safety labels. But also great fun!

Even though Mustafa was not responsible for the numerous problems we faced (he was booked as our private dive instructor); he was always doing his best to solve or moderate the situation. Mostafa and his team of divers are very professional. The location of the dive centre is amazing. The equipments are of great quality and you can totally trust diving with them. What I really liked about diving with Deep South is that i felt comfortable, stress free and welcomed. And thats what diving is all about right? Very nice bunch of people to dive with and they give huge importance to safety, quality and make sure that you have an amazing dive experience! I will be doing 6 dives with them, and will for sure dive with them again.

My Friend persuaded me to go with him to Egypt and learn how to dive. Hes experienced diver but I had 0 experience. He convinced me that I should do open water course first... Not intro. Ive had no idea if Ill like diving.He decided for us to go Deep South Divers which wasnt a good idea for me because we had to drive 90min from hotel and 90min back. 3hours was a waste of time for me especially during vacation. Now I know it wasnt a waste of time. He choose this company because he heard it is run by very good and friendly people.My time in Deep South Divers was.... Magical. In my opinion people that have problems with diving, they fear a lot of things deep underwater, have to rely on their own body, mind... But most importantly on the instructors. You have to believe nothing bad will happen. My instructors taught me many things in the classroom and the same day they showed it underwater. These lessons became much more clear when done in real situations. The course showed me the depths of the magic that is diving.Diving is a mythical moment which feels like flying thats why I recommend for You to do open water diving course. The fishes the beauty of the underworld is less important now for me :) I dive for the feeling. To feel respect for water and live with the water like fishes.If You decide to do the course do it with Deep South Divers. People there make You feel safe, they are very friendly and in the end I can call them friends.

My boyfriend did the Open Water course and I spent 5 days fun diving with Deep South Divers. Mohamad, the owner of the diving school is a nice guy and an experienced diver. Due to the fact that this is the only diving school we have been to in Egypt I can only compare it to other diving schools in Mozambique, Philippines, Malaysia, Indonesia and Mexico.Positive points- Mohamad and his friends/co-workers picked us up at the guesthouse and drove us to the dive spots every single day and brought us back home safely and for free.- Free water, tea and coffee during the day- Here you could practise how to set up your diving equipment and how to get every single part seperated again. Its important to know and lots of diving centers do that service for the customers but actually dont do them a favor cause they will never learn how to do it for their own.- You learned a few practical tips and tricks beside the general diving rules, that will help you to make your dive easier and safer.- I got a discount for the dives cause I was diving with them for 5 days straight. (€50 for 2 dives including the equipment, transfer and drinks)- I always wanted to go to Elphinstone Reef and Dolphin house and even though the situation with Covid and the lack of tourists made the organisation hard, Mohamad could arrange both spots for us. Thanks again. We enjoyed it alot.- Mohamad talked to the local owners of the restaurants where we had dinner and after that we paid less than half of the price we usually paid. So he makes good deals for you.- The diving center is very nice, welcoming and situated perfectly at a nice beach.Negative points or rather said things to improve- I was used to get detailed briefings including painted dive spots before every dive in other schools. Here you only get the information about the name of the dive spot and if you might see a dugong or turtels or that you will see a nice coral reef. Also there was no special talk after the dive. I like when the log book is being filled out together with the dive instructor due to the fact that they have the detailed information about the spot and they know better how the marine animals are called correctly.- There was a boat trip organised and cause of the high percentage of polish people on the boat they did most of the briefings, explanations and conversations on the boat only in Polish. I always had to ask for a translation. Please use English, then almost the whole world can understand it and doesnt feel excluded.- The diving center is very nice and perfectly located at a beautiful beach. Nevertheless we never got the chance to relax or spend time there cause it was always a stressful atmosphere between and after the dives and we were brought back to our guesthouse immeditely after our dives. Some breaks and resting time, Volleyball matches or relaxing conversations after a diving day would have been great.- And last but not least Mohamad asked us permanently if we could give him a good review. For us reviews are something that shouldnt primarly be a marketing tool, it should rather inform other people about your true opinion/ experience and on the same hand be a perfect feedback tool for the companies.All in all we enjoyed diving in Egypt and we wish the diving school all the best and lots of customers in the next months and years!

I just did my Open Water Diver with Muhammed Mustafa and his team and had the most amazing week. First three days of intense training, then three more days for practicing and some amazing fun dives - including innumerable turtles, fish in all forms and colors, and ship wrecks. My diving skills went within less than a week from zero to quite okish, allowing me to do a 70-minute dive on my last day. I‘m looking forward to coming back and explore somemore sites in the Red Sea!

Wonderful experience!Mustafa the owner of the dive center is very reliable and he organised everything: he came to our guest house the evening before the first dive to check the equipment with us and then pick us in the guest house and bring us back everyday. Furthermore, he even helps us to find good restaurants to eat and to get local prices.The dive suits were brand new and they had plenty of sizes beginning from xs.We were brought to amazing dive sites including the dolphin house which I highly recommend.Our dive guide Omar was nice, professional and funny. We had amazing times with him!We had five beautiful dive days with deep south and we highly recommend this dive center!

Amazing diving experience thanks to the experienced and highly professional staff who cared about safety first, comfort and ensuring we all had a great experience.Mohamed our instructor took the time to remind us of the equipment check, the signs and key practices from PADI before jumping into the water. He solved any issues underwater very efficiently and made us be one with the water.I felt super safe, confident and well taken care of. All the crew were highly professional. The safety and dive briefings were super detailed.They prepared all the equipment for everyone (we had assigned seating throughout the day making it easy to keep your gear together).They can arrange any of the trips you would want in the Area, Elphinstone, Abu ghosn Wreck and trip to the majestic Wadi Gamal. Just ask youll get.A fantastic experience! Really enjoyed it! Here is my story with the center,,I contacted them and told them I am a beginner and I need a refresher. The dive instructor, also the oner of the center (Mohammed Mustafa), himself dove with me to adjust my bouncy, check my weight and how I kick the fins. Not only that, they even went through the basics with me like how to arrange the weights in the belt, how to deflate the BCD quickly in case of emergency and so on. After that, I was ready to dive. Murshadi Attai was my guide and he is also a dive master. He is well knowledgeable of the area and excellent spotter. In just two dives, I was lucky to encounter two turtles, sea cow and guitar shark. The other day we spotted sting ray and more turtles.People there are friendly 👌🏼 highly recommended.

I spent two mouths in this dive center, I was doing my divemaster, I got more that I was expecting actually, the course and exercices were great, based practicing a lot. The instructor is nice et good teacher, a lot of expériences and patient. I don’t need to comment on the dives spot, obviously the Red Sea is amazing, my favorite spot was elphinstone. The dive center is in a good place, in the middle of the desert in front of the sea. Highly recommended 👌🏼

Truly enjoyed doing my Open Water and Advance Course with Mohammed. I wanted to overcome my fear of deep water. Mohammed made me feel very comfortable and adjusted the session to my pace. It was the third time we had a great time with Deep South Divers. Full professionalism, individual approach to each tourist, be it an amateur or a professional diver. I highly recommend it. A cordial team with whom you will make an exciting first intro, follow the course, and then explore the underwater gardens. During the training, all important information is provided, even first time divers will feel safe. If someone has concerns, the instructor will work through them step by step, you will test possible variants. I am especially fond of divers with Montana, who can impress with their personality. It exudes peace and love for the underwater life. He treats everyone individually and adjusts the intro to the students abilities. Basically, from the very first meeting, you learn skills that will be useful during the course.Monika cares about the integration and well-being of the entire team, she is great at logistics. Before each trip, you receive a package of information: you know where to report, what time, what to take, how to prepare.
