The oldest mosque in the Al-Bayara region 👍Al-Rayy Mosque or Al-Bayara Grand Mosque is one of the oldest mosques in the Al-Bayara area in the Kom Ombo district of Aswan Governorate.The mosque was established in 1936 AD and was inaugurated in 1940 AD and was expanded by self-efforts in 1978 AD with an area of ​​12 meters x 42 meters, then it was renovated and restored in 2002 AD.It is a distinguished mosque and it is one of the university mosques in the region and the most number of worshipers, especially in Friday prayers and Eid prayers, where most of the residents go to it due to the mosques long tradition and people’s association with it since their childhood.The mosque used to feature a large garden attached to it, but due to the increase in the number of worshipers, the mosque was expanded in a part of the garden and was provided with a protective umbrella.
