On May 19, 1875, it was attached to the Ministry of Al-Haqqania and Trade, and on December 10, 1878, it was attached to the Ministry of Finance.The regulation for organizing postal work was issued with the approval of the Ministry of Finance on December 21, 1865, that the transmission of letters and the issuance of postage stamps would be a monopoly of the Egyptian government.In March 1867, a circular was issued to all post offices making “clothing for workers” compulsory, and each employee had two clothes, one for his daily work and the other for official ceremonies and ceremonies, and later modifications were made to it, including the type and model.In 1919, Law No. 7 was issued to establish the Ministry of Communications, which includes railways, telegraphs, telephones, the Postal Authority, and the Ports, Roads and Air Transport Authority.In 1931, a comprehensive law was issued dealing with all postal transportation fees.
