Service was excellent also the staff the dessert nice but the sandwiches not god at all

Penello is a nice cafe and resturant and one of the few places in maadi where u can enjoy a drink in an outdoor area. I highly recommend this place if ur looking for a drink and nice food, go for it!

It’s chill, the outdoor seating area is lovely and it’s cozy.It might not be the best place to work unless you have your own internet supply.

Very average quality of food but dont take the sausage. Good chill hangout that can serve as a good last resort if you dont have any other place to go

Mr. Philippe (the manager) was not helpful when we had an issue and he was fairly rude. We arrived around 8 with a group of 10 new teachers who just arrived in Cairo. Everyone had received their food and I asked about my food. They said it was coming. When desserts started to arrive I asked again. They finally brought my food at 930. When I asked about the issue he did not give any regret, only said that the kitchen was busy. I want able to eat the food I was made to pay for since it group was leaving. Very poor customer service, never going back and never be recommending.

Pretty diverse. They got beer, football, ceramic painting, indoor and outdoor seating, food.Its definitely a jack of all trades master of none kinda place. Food is there but its very okay, they serve alcohol but nothing really special. Ceramics are pretty pricey considering youll have to wait a week before getting it. (the results are pretty cool nonetheless).Overall a good place for a beer or two, but nothing more than that. They also got indoor smoking which is a plus for some people and a negative for some. 🤷‍♂️

Good food and seating area, the food is always good, staff are very helpful, good music, they display all soccer football games on an indoor and outdoor screen, they serve beer and wine, local and imported, bottles and drafts, they also have a ceramic coloring craft available, pet friendly for outdoor seating, only place where you can bring a dog and have a beer in an outdoor area. bathrooms are clean

I just love this place, Caesar salad is from heaven ♥️ although there was a big party the staff were efficient and controlled the servings of other tables unlike most restaurants.

I love this place, the food is good although a bit expensive the people working there are friendly and are not judgemental the lady who owns the place is so friendly and fun. The place serves beer and wine and sometimes on Thursdays they give u a complimentary drink with your beer. The place is nice and is fun.

I keep going to the place to paint on ceramics, the staff is friendly, the drinks are good. Never tried the food though.
