Worst online shopping experience ever. I made 4 separate orders 3 out of them had problems all relating to the seller. They deal with sellers who scam you. First two orders the items were out of stock from the seller and they found out that days after the expected delivery time. My last and final order of them was an iPhone 6s which I bought with a sellers warranty yet after only one month of use the mobile started having problems like the touch screen would glitch and the phone wont charge properly and when I tried contacting the seller from the information on the warranty paper their numbers were out of order and when I visited their address the doorman of the building told me there was no such company and that many before me came looking for them, AKA they are a scam. It took Souq a month and half to return the item after calling them over 6 times, and to this day I havent been refunded my 9K LE back.Bottom line is dont buy anything from this terrible service if you dont want to get ripped off.
As a seller this is a nightmare, bad interface and items get rejected as prohibited or not allowed in the country while it’s already offered on the site, sometimes the guy from management rejects on his own with no rule to followAnd the landline for help, expect to wait 30 minutes before someone answer you and end up waiting couple of days to resolve your problem and that if they solve it at all , sometimes you have to call 3 times and on each time wait 30 minutes, that if they didn’t hang the system on you.And support by email is none existentI feel no one is spending effort to work in there.Not to mention they review for listings items delaysAnd i will escalate this to international amazon about the way they handle it in egypt.
Worst experience ever! I waited 4 days for the delivery, never got the product in the end. 2 times the delivery guy showed up outside of the scheduled time frame. even after scheduling a very tight slot via phone as a last effort - 9-10am - i get a phone call at 3pm, and someone wants to reschedule, again. the amount of communication needed (for nothing, in the end) exceeds the item by far. what a waste of my life time.
Horrible customer support, I would not recommend them to anyone unless youre sure of the product youre getting.
Customer service are the worst. Nothing but a bunch of slackers who promise you everything and do nothing.And if anyone of the management is caring enough and seeing those reviews, please check pending tickets opened by your CS reps on your CRM system and you’ll know what I’m talking about. Especially your CS reps named Donia, Mark and Soliman.I have been shopping through souq for years now but I’m disappointed that today it had to come to this point.
We have used this service 3 times, each time was worse than before.The first time they got the delivery date wrong, by like 4 days.The second time they were out of stock of most likely of the order, and they found out about that the day it was supposed to be delivered. They called to apologize, and gave me 50LE in credit.The third (and final) time - there was a technical problem, and the order was never processed - HOWEVER, THE MONEY WAS CHARGED FROM THE CREDIT CARD! It’s really quite rediculous. We asked them to return the money and forget about it.. they also had the audacity to ask us to resubmit the order! LolTry to use any other service if you’re not looking for a headache

Theyre awful. Ordered an AC system. Took 2 weeks to get here (after they needed 1 day). Took 60 days for them to get installers down to actually install the thing. Called nearly everyday. Go somewhere else

BIG SCAM EVER!!!! I bought a BRANDED Google Chromecast 2 through Souq, I trusted them as it displays Amazon Company. Once I received the shipment I discovered that its only a Google Chromecast 2 on the poor quality box and what I specifically didnt want a Chinese Junk called WECAST!!!!!!. Plus it cost me as much money as an authentic GCAST 2. Then I email them, and out of a sudden the easy contactable customer service desk becomes dumb and they send me an automated email asking me to spend more money on those rip off by calling their hotline. Automated message ready as Souq might be expecting it. Dont buy through Souq, dont get ripped off!!!!

Good online shop, but they must choose well among sellers because there are sellers who do not have honesty. there are sellers who say their products are new and that have been used before.
