I was walking around Maadi after purchasing a chocolate shake from Baskin Robbins and while I was about to walk to Metro (Subway) to go home I notice this Book Store....They had all the Dr. Seuss books I was looking for. Nice little store with tons of books in English (MashaAllah)The worker Ahmed was a great help. Definitely well return to purchase more books monthly InshaAllah

Great little bookshop with both new and second hand books. Some amazing finds to be had. There is also a large children and young adults section.

Great book selection but my visa card got skimmed here. Woke up a day after visiting to around $2500 in charges at a duty free in Seoul and had to have my Canadian bank cancel the card. I know it was here because this was the only place I used the card all week and the charges showed up within a few hours.If you are shopping here bring cash.

Pleasant little spot. Staff are mostly helpful. Has a lot of books, and often different prints of the same book. Some books are in mint condition, some are lightly used, and some are very old. Prices vary from 20EGP to 500EGP. You can find some rare books there too, the website is very helpful in knowing whether a book is available and what condition its in. You can ask them to get you a book too, but when I did that and gave them my number they never followed up or called me.

A quaint bookstore tucked away in thriving Maadi neighborhood. Its shelves are filled with new and used books in English and Arabic. The shop is inviting with Quran lightly playing... There are tables and a couple of chairs in which to relax and browse a bit deeper before committing to a purchase. After book shopping, one can take advantage of one of the nearby restaurants, especially if youve traveled a but to get there. Ill be visiting again.

Its this cute little underground space that is a must go for book lovers. You might not find everything you need, but its organized, all the books are visible and they have both used books and new books, making for a perfect combo.
