Good place to know how handicrafts are made.They do have good stuff for sale as well. Be ready to bargain if you are buying something.

Nice to learn but everything is very overpriced that even if you asked for less than half of the original price they will still sell it. The worst is the way they sell. It is very aggressive.

At the Oraby Alabaster Factory we got a large part of our holiday souvenirs. First of all, it was explained to us in detail how the individual works made of stone or alabaster are processed. Over a glass of tea, we were able to talk to the owner in German on the upper floor, as he had spent a few years of his life here. This enabled us to go into more detail about the various work steps and understand how laborious and strenuous production is. Unfortunately, we couldnt buy everything that we liked, as the 20 kg baggage allowance is also exhausted at some point.
