I visited the Lotus House Luxor last October. I was very impressed with the rooms and decor, which was modern and spacious.The balconies were ideal for alfresco eating or just enjoying the magnificent views of the Nile. The view from the roof terrace was even better...perfect for watching the sunset over the Nile. It was easy to reach the East Bank by one of the motorboats (which take about 5 minutes)and explore the areas around Luxor Temple and the Souk.

Lotus House - FantasticAs an Egyptian, I have stayed in many places in Egypt, and I am completely captivated by Lotus House, a quiet area, yet close to everything with a fantastic view of the Nile, both from the balcony and from the roof. There is always activity on the Nile - the best thing was to sit with a cup of tea and enjoy life starting along the Nile.Lotus House, where I lived in a studio, has everything you need for long-term rentals as well as short-term rentals. Beautiful Lotus design.Well thought decor, comfortable beds with duvets and pillows - lots of cups, plates, wine glasses and pots etc.Khaled, Lis, Ezz and Ahmed were wonderful hosts - always ready to help - really good service and respect for the guests private lives.Close to good restaurants 10 mins walk - grocery shopping, could be brought to the door or walk approx. 5 min to a small grocery store. Swimming pool was approx. 10 min. walk.Lotus House has their own taxi service - a new car with nice aircon on a hot April day. It was both easy and cheap to arrange round trips with Lotus house taxi.Yes !! it was a super good experience to stay in Lotus House and will definitely be back on my travels to Luxor.The best greetings for a fantastic stay and hello from HurghadaKhaled

Excellent guest house! We live in the area and stayed at Lotus House for a little over a month before finding a permanent home. The rooms and building are very nice, and the owner and the (house guy? porter?) were friendly and helpful, and most importantly did not hassle us to take their cousins taxis and feluccas and what not (this is annoyingly common in Luxor).The only negative thing I can say is that one of our showers was shoddy (we had two rooms) - but it was not enough to knock a star off. Ive now seen several guesthouses in the west bank and I would recommend Lotus House over any other.

Me and my friend have spent such a wonderfull time there. The house is amazing, it has all that one could ask. The view in front of the Nile was amazing! The owners, Liz and Khaled were the best and so friendly! You feel here as if you were in your own house. I hope to come back soon to Lotus House in Luxor!

The best hotel in the Luxor west Bank the hospitality really is wonderful 😊 I really feel this my home. I really was very happy and happy and happy when I was sitting in the balcony and watching the people from theeast Bank and the Nile in front of m really the best hotel in the Luxor west Bank I invited the people just to visit and Im sure you will not back again to your country wish to all people fantastic day be smile

We had a booking for 3 nights at Lotus House in April 2018. An hour before we were due to check-in the manager left us a message saying they had double booked the apartment. We then spent four hours trying to get in touch with them with no response. Thankfully Airbnb gave us a full refund so we could stay elsewhere (along with compensation) but I would strongly recommend booking elsewhere to avoid the same experience.

E significant discovery was made in Egypts Western Desert at a site called Al-Salam, around 200 miles south from the shores of the Mediterranean.

Beautiful guest house, I stayed for 3 nights here and the room and the hosts are super great. I highly recommend this place.
