A nice small little International cuisine Restaurant.Wait time for the food was a bit longer than expected but nothing out of the ordinary.Food was pretty excellent with good portions.Would recommend.

Good food ,quiet during lunch maybe they’ll get busier later in the day. A good place to have a bite to eat specially if you’ve been out in the sun all day. Clean bathrooms and very friendly staff.

I went there with my Spanish friend. The food was delicious and tasty yet not enough portion, the service was very good also.Then, my friend ordered a mojito and she said thats the most disgusting mojito I have ever tasted in my life!I order lemon with mint and it was tasteless, just water with a flavor of lemon!We didnt want to make a problem because we were tired and just wanted to rest for a bit but we decided that we wont tip them.After we paid the bill, the waiter came to me and asked no tip at all? I answered the drinks were very bad so, noHe gave me a dispiced look saying All Egyptians do that! Eat and drink and then complain about something to avoid tipping!At first, me and my friend wanted to give 4 starts to the restaurant but after that waiter, 2 starts is even too much!

Located 1 floor up a short flight of steps, the Sunrise is a very nicely decorated clean restaurant with good food and service. My single caution would be to avoid the steak. Beef is not aged in Egypt and tends to be tougher than what we are accustomed to in the west.

Comfy food and nice staff. We were sataying in a hotel nearby and eat there a couple of times.

VERY cold beers, which made the my old man VERY happy!! He even said Coldest Beer in Egypt!Hot chips and free wifi were also a winner, and the service was great. Will definitely go back tonight for more cold beers.

I visited with a local colleague who suggested the restaurant rather than a more expensive hotel restaurant. Although a little shabby and not particularly well frequented, the menu we chose was cooked to order, fresh and tasty. Apart from that it was extremely good value. We ate the chicken menu which started with a delicious local soup with warm bread, followed by wonderful roast chicken quarters with rice and freshly grilled vegetables and finally warm cake (homemade) with fresh guava. The service was friendly.

Great service and prices!

So I went to this place with friends to eat pizza. After like 40 minutes they served a pizza which was all burnt on bottom side. We asked them to replace it. After another 20-25 minutes they served the same pizza and they had scraped off the bottom. We were too hungry to return so we just ate it. Good thing is they didnt charge us for the food. :)

We wanted to have a quick burger with some fries, they were fine!Partner had the Double Chicken BBQ Burger and I had the Mozzarella Stick Small Chicken Burger. Added some fries, waiter asked if we wanted cheese on top. Tried this; was unfortunately not so tasty, cold and soggy.Very friendly gentleman who helped us and wanted us to come back. To get to the restaurant you have to pass by a couple of shady sellers La choukra; No thanks! And 1 flight of stairs up. Christmas music was on and the decoration was very much from Christian history in Egypt.

Awful, tough meat, bad sauce. Small plates, it looks cheap but in the end its expensive!

The restaurant is tucked away on the first floor, and the color scheme is also different from what Europeans are used to.One has the impression of being in a nightclub from the 80s.Some would call it cheesy.The air conditioning is very pleasant.Definitely a recommendation, I would go there again.

Also landed here on a day trip to Luxor via a tour operator.The external appearance does not suggest anything good, so the more surprised you are then the extremely pleasant ambience inside the restaurant.The food was good and the staff was super friendly and extremely helpful. Very pleasant stay and highly recommended.The best meal break we had on all our trips.Many greetings to my friends, who organized the French fries for my son!

In a booked through the tour operator day trip we landed in the SunRise in Luxor. The first impression from outside was rather daunting. But we were very pleasantly surprised by the ambience, the very nice staff and the lush and good lunch buffet. Here you can also pay in euros.

Quality of food was bad.UpdateI was defeated on an occasion, and unfortunately the 3 items that were downloaded - pasta, bake and bread - were of poor quality and were not served.God willing, the next experience will be better.
