If it was up to me, this hotel barely deserves 1 star rating not a 4 stars hotel.First, we are a group of 4 adults and 1 year old child .. at the check in they told us that there is no availability to take two nearby rooms although there was an available roomWhen we arrived to the room, we found no towels or slippers and we asked the receptionist to send some, she sent us one slipper only and said that there is no more slippers as its out of stock and its Friday so the store is closed, they have done the same when we asked for towels and sent us only one towel .. I have never been to a hotel that sends those items upon requestAbove all, the bed sheets did not smell good at all.. the room service super slowOver all, its not a pleasant experience at all

Place is good, but rooms are not up to the mark and maintenance is that good.I can say its kind of a 2 star hotel but the building and view everything is like a 5star hotel. The architecture of this hotel is very rich, if maintenance is bit improved it will be very nice.

The criteria of the people who reserve and stay in the hotel look very weird. The security are just being annoying for no reason rather than helpful and supportive. I wish they were more friendly as a staff and the reception guy is just giving a straight poker face and talk in a rude way.

This the worst resort to ever be at in the whole world. I have had horrible experience here. My money was stolen by one of the room service staff and they didnt do anything to recover it. I was student travelling to Canada via Cairo, Egypt. Their food was of worst quality. Never ever book this resort. I recommend this to every student travelling to canada. Book some other hotel. If you dont want to lose your money.

Its a very nice and huge hotel but if youre a indian, food is not good, wifi connection is not available in your room. You can only access wifi in the hotel lobby.Pro tip : take a roaming sim card with you.

2 star hotel not 5. Not the cleanest of place and breakfast is awful along the location which is off the freeway. Its far from any local amenities and very noisy in the evenings.

We had a very bad experience there. We booked a triple bedroom and paid for it then when we checked in the hotel provided a double bedroom and said they gonna add another bed but they never did even after calling the reception several times. All staff are very rude including the PR head! Theyre very unprofessional, careless and helpless. The room wasnt clean and there was no hot water in the shower. I dont recommend this hotel at all.

Clean Hotel with great interior spaces and landscape, the pool is specially enjoyable. Food is good and service is average. The rooms are also average in furniture but above average in size.It is very close to the new grand museum of Egypt.

Although wide space and large rooms but many drawbacks. Room items lack toothpaste and toothbrushes, no razors and no shaving cream. Bad lighting facilities. The refrigerator was malfunctioning. Delayed room service response to personal requests, believe or not we waited 3 hours as they provided us with an extra blanket after 4 phone calls, I headed personally to the reception area to ask them with my orders. Two stars only for the space and gardens.

This is not a super fancy hotel but it is great value overall. Its quite clean and has a very nice pool for relaxation. It is also located very close to the pyramids and the new Egyptian museum so youll have good access there.The breakfast is nice traditional Egyptian food but it has limited varieties.

Very nice but they have not enough AC at the hall or the reception , and its 10 minutes from the 3 pyramids but not from the city centre because you are going to take taxi to go to the city centre

Spacious rooms and yummy breakfast but need maintenance

The customer service and hospitality was very good and they tried theyre really hard. The hotel rooms need renovation. Im going to give the food 5/10 because some it was cold and hard ( ie the croissant etc). Would I stay here in this hotel again? Probably not..... Giving 3/5 because the hotel management tried to accommodate us and welcome us.

Dirty. No free beverages in prepaid dinner. We made several requests for an three hours, before we recivied bath towels. However meals are good. We stayed by excursion voucher, maybe with the direct booking the hotel service us higher.

During these troubled times of Covid..we all need to feel safe & we did not. 80% didnt wear face masks, no hand sanitiser stations operational, etc.. There were however lots of posters to state the Covid safety measures. Just a shame that they werent adhered to..From a hotel point of view, its tired & ready for refurbishment in my opinion..

The resort is big with big capacity. My experience with the rooms was not good at all, the water was not clean and there was only one towel for four residents. The pool was very good and big with a part for kids. The staff is friendly. The location is good and you can reach it easily by using uber or a taxi. The prices in comparison to the service and the offered facilities is little bit expensive.But you can have a good experience with those you love with a medium budget.

You will enjoy the modest landscape and pool. Otherwise, everything else is below average. I dont recommend the food here. I dont think I will come back to it again on the near future.

Terrible check in as I was checked in a untidy room and I was promised to get it cleaned up but no action taken from the staff. Bad management during high seasons and weekends.

The staff at the terrace, bar, pool are all amazing but the reception staff are absolute arse. Super unhelpful and full of attitude. Hotel itself also looks nice on outside, lobby and pool areas but rooms are super old and not maintained at all. Towels and bedsheets with old stains. Dont be fooled by the 4 star rating of the hotel and giving 3 stars only because of the amazing outdoors staff.

Amazing resort with a very beautiful and large swimming pool. Well decorated garden and fields. A good number of separated buildings for living place. You will enjoy the swimming pool most for its size and beauty. The resort has a very big area. Recommended for every family. Service and food is also good.

Pretty nice place with a large pool. We didnt like the loud neighbours in the hallways at night, or the complete use of plastic service at the restaurant.

The room was comfortable, but I had a problem here. My family booked 3 rooms, and when we checked in at 3 pm, they said that only 1 room that is ready and the other two still in cleaning process. They assured us that we only had to wait 15 minutes at most and after that someone would come and hand us the keys. We waited for the whole night, and that night all 6 of us slept in one room as there was no confirmation from the hotel staff. We called the receptionist many times, but the answer was always the key will be ready in 1 hour 😂😂

I recognize standards are different in every country. But that doesnt explain rude reception staff, serving drinks in plastic cups at the bar, poor wifi, TVs that dont work and a bad buffet. A tired old hotel in desperate need of an upgrade. And the location is horrible. While close to the pyramids, its right next to the highway, with no where to go for a walk or explore the neighbourhood. And one more time with feeling- really rude reception staff. They dont even pretend to try to be helpful.

Pros:Place is really nice with good swimming pool, buffet, lots of green, childrens play area, nice place to take photos.Cons:Free Wifi only in reception area. That too works very very slow. 4$ for getting wifi in room. Some rooms key wont work properly, doors may not open. Chances of room getting cleaned is 80%, have to request for bath towel. No lift to take your luggage if you are getting room in first floor. Carry it via steps.

U urge you not to stay!My daughter stayed there last summer as part of a camp program for a weekend. However, they were forced to return early as over 22 children got.severly sick, 2 of which were immediately sent to the hospital. Service was terrible and one of the staff member started shouting at my daughter while they were playing a group activity that involved cutting paper, she told him shed clean it up numerous times however he seemed not to listen and started saying this isnt my job you know?! This is disregarding their appalling hygiene, the bed sheets were stained with who knows what substance and smelled as though they had moldy cheese in them and the bathroom walls had mold in them! Which can be very dangerous in terms of young childrens health, the pool also looks as if it hasnt been cleaned in years and they just treated it with more chlorine. There are multiple nicer options in egypt that provide brilliant service and nice views, just not this onePlease do NOT stay

Rooms in general are ok.. But the food is very bad. You can smell old food. we dont have much options for lunch and dinner. the swimming pool is good. Room service is not so good.. Takes too much time to deliver food or correct problems in room.. For instance, I took 3 days for a request to change non-working fridge.. I had to follow up 4 to 5 times...

If you have another alternative dont stay here. Obviously it used to be a great structure but maintenance and cleanliness are very average. Service also below good. Breakfast too basic, variety is kinda there but you would not be excited by how food looks like. Buffet was a mess. Looks like they clean only after the breakfast time is finished. Paper towels and dirty table ware everywhere, tables not ready and they dont care. Customers behaviour is not the best, very noisy unstoppable kids. Place was ok to sleep only, no desire to use the offered facilities.. Early check out... Seeking for another better option.P. S. Hard to get by gps, the u-turn that is on Google maps was removed. Couldnt find decent way to get to the place, drive through terrible place with loads of holes, stones, under weird bridge....

We go to this hotel as we have conferences held in inside every 2-3 months,i cant deny we prefer this one over the others ,yet we reserved certain number of rooms as *minimum* less than 1/4 were ready when we arrived. Imagine doing a group check in from 8 am till 3 pm? I know it wasnt the receptionist problem,but that 1/4 was the number supposed to wait at the end of the day and not the beginningThe hotel receptipn clean, yet needs to be updatedAs for the rooms , we got used to sleep on their mattresses that are on the floor, it is not that bad , but not for a hotel ,it can work for something else more of a camp or something.Maintenance is extremely needed, every time there must be a problem in the roomAs for the landscape, i admire the quantity of the green areas they haveAs for the plenary , they need a full maintenance ,air conditioning system is not working probablyThe small meeting rooms are not clean and their bathrooms are not working with a disgusting smell

The rooms are mid range but the beds are comfortable and the air conditioning works just fine.... The food was great except for some tiny details that you could probably ignore.... Room service and house keeping were a little bit slow yet that staff is great and respectful... A little bit overpriced.

Regrettably, I have provided a two-star rating for the Pyramids Park Resort Hotel. While its likely to have been a vibrant resort at the time of construction some decades ago, the complex has fallen into disrepair with ineffective management.Although the resort is officially rated five stars, a recent stay confirms its closer to three stars. The service was consistently poor with long delays and often no service at all. Other than the buffet food in the main restaurant (and the exceptional service from the buffets service manager and chefs), the food was sub-par. The whole resort smelled of cigarette smoke, despite having smoke-free areas.The location is not ideal as there is no local infrastructure within walking distance such as shops, restaurants, sites etc.The location would be okay if the resort standard was higher.With some care and attention, the Pyramids Park could be great again but fussy travellers may wish to consider other options to avoid disappointment.I also left an item at the resort during one of my stays and was pleased with the honesty of staff when I received the item upon my return.

If you are not very patient, cool and kind to support the hotel to be better, dont go there.I wasted my first night asking the hotel for fixing problems in the rooms and changing from room to the other.Here is my feedback on the rooms I have exchanged.Room 264:- Electricity is not working. Only one lamp is working.  Electric plugs are not working.- Room balcony is full of dust. Seems It has never been cleaned befor.- toilet/WC water is not working.- phone terminal/handset is very old and not working properly.  You can hardly hear the other party. Seems it is made to test how sensitive is your hearing.Room 261:- Electriccity: Lamps are ok but electric plugs in the wall are not working and needed to be changed and still some are not fixed.- Shower water is not working and needs a plumer to replace it.- TV remote control is totally broken.Room ××20 in ground floor:Phone is not working. I didnt continue checking the rest of the room as beds were not matching our reservation.Finally room 707 is a good one. I only had to change one bed to match my reservation.One more stupid service, parking service in the hotel is not free for guests. You have to pay the parking separately.

Its a great place to stay it has an amazing pool and the rooms are very good except for the TV off or switch is still a CRT and the service is also good as well as the food so overall its something that will make you satisfied as long as you dont request too much

Beautiful hotel, however, service is not the greatest. If you are hungry just do the buffet because getting food at pool side.... good luck!! It takes forever for one of the servers to notice you sitting and when they finally notice you.... They still do not come to you!!! When they finally do and ask what would you like you will be asking for a menu!!!! Like hello that is the first thing they should bring to you!! So after waiting so long forsomeone to come over to you, you will also be waiting a long time for the menu. And ha! Lets talk about the food! It takes a good 25 to 35 minutes before it comes to you and it isnt all that.... go explore and find food outside it is so much better and less money!!

Looks great from outside however it is disappointing from inside. The bathroom door was broken tons of dents and scratches everywhere you look. The same goes for breakfast looks promising but low quality specially the coffee and bakery

Terrible hotel, we had to insist on our travel agent to move us to a different hotel. The place is designed to look good in photos but falls apart when you touch anything. Ancient infrastructure and apathetic service. After we raised a fuss about how our holiday was off to a terrible start, the manager arrived and laughed at our situation and implied that it didnt matter what we think because theyre fully booked by package tour companies wherein it doesnt really matter what the individual guests think.Flushes dont work, keys dont work after multiple replacements (they offered us a replacement room, not only did our keys not work, neither did their master key!), obviously kettles and fridges dont work, there are no plug points available, there are exposed wires everywhere, and rooms are not set up according to the way you booked them when you arrive.In short, this place is a terrible holiday at best and a safety accident waiting to happen at worst.

This hotel is strange in nature! Because it seems it is a old resort. The reception, restaurants, pool, lobby and other public ares are very good. But when it comes to room... unbelievable poor condition! They do hardly any maintenance in there rooms.

The dirtiest, lousiest and most unhygienic hotel you can enter. Rooms carpeting moulds, bathroom full of mildew, insects and roaches in the room, lousy food. A truly baaaaad experience and dirty hotel. Left after 2 nights from a supposed 14 day stay to another hotel. DO NOT EVER GO THERE. REALLY BAAAAAAAAAD PLACE

Cant complain too much for the money I paid, it definitely needs an upgrade. Beds too soft, breakfast very basic, staff slow and standards low. Yet, as I said, for the rate I paid it was okay. If you are looking for a quick stop in Cairo for a low budget, then it is suitable. Important note: no safe in the room, so take your valuables with you as people visit your room when you are out, even if housekeeping has been already. We found this out as they left an Arabic written note in the room after housekeeping had been. Weird!

Not deserve even a star. Travelled with a tour group, so no choice of hotel. Changed 5 rooms in total due to1. More than 20 big flies everywhere in the room2. Smell of strong insect spray3. Flies again, everywhere4. Smelled like room uncleaned for 20 yearsand finally had to bear with the room with 10 flies which we handled ourselves.Waited and waited forever and still waiting now for an extra third bed. Called four times. Not even here to set up the bed.Hotel rooms in zone 6 looks like still under construction.Totally ruined our new year trip in Egypt.

I stayed here for a week. The staff was friendly and everything was clean and tidy. The manager was very helpful. The food was of good standard and big variety of food to choose from. Price you pay for what you get is very good. Good value for your money! Sherif was very helpful and always friendly.

A once upon a time beautiful hotel, but seriously need some maintenance and proper staff service.One switch button was broken in my room, 253 and due to that I couldnt switch off the light. After a long flight, I wanted a dark room to sleep but just couldnt.The breakfast buffet was a disaster. The buns and bread was old. Staff was inattentive. Staff was busy helping themselves from buffet. When you ask for coffee, they just point to the counter.

Bad quality food, bad service from reception, bad quality WiFi which was also overcharged and not accessible at all times even when youre paying extra for it 3,5 euro per day and device. If the IT was not there was no way to get any service or help. Old furniture, not very clean, with a lot of mosquitos although it winter. Parking is separately charged and they ask you to pay every day at the exit without speaking English so the delay is huge.

We as a group tour stayed here for 2 days in late December 2018. The hotel is scattered through a large area but it is very poorly managed/maintained.Wi-fi is not available at room; there is no option to buy it as well. Lobby Wi-fi is extremely poor and almost non-existent.Rooms are pretty far from reception but the hotel gave hands to carry the luggage every time. But you need to walk during breakfast, lunch, dinner etc.Check-in time is at 2 PM, but even at 4 PM, you may not expect the room to be ready for you.Now coming to the room standard, it is very bad and needs a lot of improvements. It is smelly, not cleaned, dusts everywhere, lamps wont work. You can hear sound from every corner of the room.They call the room as triple sharing, but actually provided a bunk bed as third bed in a double sharing room.Bathrooms are worst, dirty, having regular water clogging issues.TVs are from 1980s, small 14 inches, TV remotes missing battery, TV didnt work for us even if with battery.Food wise, the cafeteria is ok and have some variety.Overall, I dont have good experience and avoid if possible.

Great service and the staff were lovely. Didnt need to ask for anything which was fantastic. Reception. Staff were so helpful and cheerful which was pleasant.

Pool is beautiful but no one was in it. Big facility, and common areas of hotel very clean. Room itself was very dirty. The floor was sticky and made my socks brown after only being inside for 10 minutes. Really needs a deckbrush and mop. Light switches made me feel i needed to wash my hands every time i turned off the lights. No wifi in rooms, and free wifi in cafe was very slow. Bank and atm in lobby were convenient and bank teller offered smaller change which was helpful. While it is close to pyramids, they are not visible, and there is not much else within walking distance. Food was better than the other egyptian resorts we stayed at, but not as good as most north american resorts. Restaurant staff very friendly, and they even opened breakfast early for our tour group. Cheapest beer was 90 LE when the other 3 hotels we stayed at sold for 55. Next to highway, and can hear horns throughout the night.

The hotel is FINE but I have alot to complain about, old room furniture, TV screens are blurry, pretty old towels, and scratch pool floor.But the overall cleanliness is good, friendly staff.. Although theyre usually late to everything .Good food but limited optionsIt deserves maximum 3 stars

If I could post -1 I would! This hotel is extremely poor. Firstly the bedsheets and pillowcases all had blood spots on them. The room service was so extremely poor, instead of cleaning the rooms and changing the bedsheets they wouldflip over the bedsheets on the other side and act as if they changed it. Not only that but they refused to let us come in with food fromOutside restaurants. But yet other visitors would gladly walk in with their bags of McDonald’s and KFC. And to top it off theyare extremely racist!!! They called us “dirty black people” and the person who said it is still in the hotel which means that there will be no repercussions for the racism that we faced. Can you imagine? We had little kids with us and to put them through such a traumatic experience all because of the colour of their skin is horrible! Especially when this is supposed to be a safe haven for us but yet it put everyone on edge and completely ruined our whole holiday experience. It’s safe to say that we will not be returning to that hotel. However we will be getting the British embassy involved for the racism and discrimination we faced in a place which was meant to be a safe haven for us. Moral of the story guys? Stay away from this hotel it’s not worth the stress.P.S. the sunshine’s were amazing x

Rooms were poorly clean ,the shower curtains were dirty ,the water had a yellowish tone .... no water also, free wifi only on the lobby but very poor signal... a place with lots of potencial however certain things were missing for a great comfortable stay.

Fantastic breakfast is served here and the staff, for the most part, are especially helpful and welcoming.The swimming pool is larger than expected and the location is less than a 15 minute drive from the pyramids/sphinx.However, the rooms were poorly maintained and infested with mosquitos. I realise this is Egypt but my room had more than 15 mosquitos flying about upon entry.The hotel staff were asked 4 times to clean the room but never did. If you appreciate hygiene and clean, pest free rooms, DO NOT stay here.

This is a place where you get mixed feelings.The reception and lobby area is air-conditioned, gleaming and the gentlemen at the front office are impeccably groomed, polite and helpful to a fault. And they, not unexpectedly, also speak very good English.The restaurant has good variety of food, if only the bread variety can be less and the fruits variety more (I encountered only dates and slices of melon, I think). Still, the food is fresh and some pancakes are oven-baked while you wait.The positives end there. At this hotel, the WiFi is essentially non-existent. At the lobby, it is free but it is so painfully slow that it is not worth it. I measured the speed at zero-point-something Mbps. In the rooms, the WiFi is paid for, where the hotel charges per device per day. Absolutely horrendous.A better deal I figured was to buy a local Etisalat sim card at the hotels own bookshop and loaded with 10GB data at less than 300 EGP (about $15). Using a mobile hotspot (not to mention high-speed, and of course, mobile) this was more than enough for my familys 4-day stay. And, with the added advantage of having a local line, we could Uber seamlessly.The atrocity of housekeeping/room service should be reserved for last. It was, for want of a better word, non-existent. You have to beg to get linen and towels changed. On a public forum, I wont narrate the horror stories encountered in this regard.However, my assessment is that the housekeeping department is terribly thinly manned (and therefore overworked), and likely without formal hospitality training. And without good English. And basic communication skills.Apart from the lobby area, the rest of the hotel has definitely seen glory days, and now is in the decline. Do not be fooled by the profile pictures, likely taken eons ago. Pyramids Park can definitely do better.

Staff are friendly.. room decor is a bit old... breakfast is exactly the same everyday...difficult to get an uber to this location due to current roadworks..Resort.is also located in a slightly shady part of town...close to the.pyramids but far from the decent malls, markets and the nile..about 1 hours drive.. Additionally corridors of this hotel is tiled not carpeted..and therefore when anyone checks in at 2am at night you wake up to their suitcases on the tiles..happens everynight to me...so if your a light sleeper i would not recommend it..

An ok resort hotel with pretty poor service. Getting to your hotel rooms is a far walk and when you get there, there are no lifts for you to bring your luggage to the second floor! You have to carry your own luggage up the stairs. Buffet and rooms were pretty good, though.

Its suitable for friends hangout ( day use ) , family for a night or two ..Close to pyramids, sound nd light show at Sphinx , new Egyptian museum .As an old resort , it is starting an upgrade plan .Large spaces, good capacity . friendly staff ( old & young staff) .Moderate budget costs ..

I dont really hate it, its just not clean and thats a nightmare. Couldnt try the food because when I asked the manger to get the cleaning people to clean up the rooms they didnt think there was anything more to do . Horrible smell in the carpet.

When we arrived at the hotel we were told to wait because the room was not yet ready. After a couple of hours, they said there was something wrong with the system.. We waited for our room very patiently even though we were slightly jet lagged. One of the atendees kept avoiding our questions and was very unprofessional, by not mentioning to us what the problem was.The food service is nice compared to other places in Cairo, but do not expect to be served for a while... Food comes late (as usual?) And there seems to be different places for different food, which makes it even more confusing .We asked plenty of times for laundry service and it is unacceptable to keep nagging people.Pest control needs to be better. Ants, flies and other pests are common especially when the cleaners come in (do they just leave the door open for them?)Air conditioning works like reasons and the beds are comfortable.There is a gym and other facilities but there is no air con.Not sure if the swimming pool is chlorinated for health reasons.This location is difficult for taxi services to find for some reason.When we checked out they tried to charge us for coffee we did not drink.

Nice resort with big pool no doubt, but only and big cone is its name, Pyramid park resort has no view of Pyramid from hotel or from any room, but if you are a tourist and looking for hotel or resort online so this name usually create a picture in mind that as it is very near to pyramid it means it should have Pyramid view. You booked the property with that thought in your mind and later you will find there is no view of Pyramid otherwise resort is very nice, room are big enough, restaurants is also big and having choices of different food, overall a nice experience

Nice place to stay your short vacations in cairo...food is alright,staff very kind and clean...the hotel it self can be better, if owners give it some attention specially the grand egyptian museum is just a cross the street.

The keys can open any room. Non arranged reciprocation. Rooms arent clean . And if you want to have a nice vacation dont stay at this dirty hotal.

Find somewhere else. This hotel is definitely not maintained. They only care outdoor area. Such as lobby and their grass. Rooms are dirty, pool tiles broken everywhere, slow and rude staffs. The only pro from this hotel is only location quite close to pyramids.

The first night the room was super dirty and disgusting, the rest of the hotel space is fine , breakfast and dinner good. I had booked one more night after three days and that room was much better and cleaner than the first one

No towels - bad bed

Waited to check in for 1 hr,No working t.v ,No working cold store,No working lights inside the room,I booked a triple room but they give me a douple room,The bath room smell is very bad.At the end i dont recommend this hotel to anyone unless you want waste your money time and mood.

Its good for day use,weekend.Huge swimming pool,near from pyramids.Food is not perfect and staff need to look more presentable.The rooms are good and clean.I think that they had renewed some rooms.
