Its was a nice day out. Its all about the weather and company. The highlight of the day was meeting with a baby tiger named Aysa. We didnt expect to see a tiger. You also get to sit on a Camel. Icecream and plenty of fruit smoothies available at a cost.

Very beautiful place with lots of sand arts both historic and modern. My son really enjoyed walking around and he actually wanted to rake pictures which is weird because he doesn’t usually like taking pictures. The place is kept in a pretty good shape and the were working on repairing some of the statues. They have a small bedouin tent were you can drink chai or coffee.

Very nicely crafted replicas of Egyptian pyramids & pharoahs made out of sand. They also have sand sculptures of popular cartoon and movie characters. This a good afternoon trip to get away from the beach and do something different however its a relatively small exhibit.

Nicely made sculptures of ancient places, people and creatures. Also very funny place for children to review cartoon characters and super heroes from the popular hollywood movies.

Absolutely excellent experience! Having lived in Hurghada for a number of years and never visited when my friend came out and suggested we go I reluctantly agreed - I wasnt getting my hopes up!The work that has gone into the art is beyond impressive and you cant help but be amazed by it.What I was really impressed with though was the kids area, there are not that many things to do in Hurghada with children but I cant recommend this highly enough to people with kids!Dont book through a rep at your hotel get an uber and pay on the door! Much cheaper!Adults 200leChildren 5-12 100leUnder 5s free

Not something I would choose to go and see but as it was part of safari package we ended up in there on the way to the camp. Sculptures are impressive and definitely require lots of hard work to be done to such high standard. You want need more than 20 minutes in there. Its still under construction and if you were to travel on your own you would definitely struggle to find it as its only linked to the main road by unpaved one not on maps.

Small place, but worth to go. It wont take more than an hour to stay. It is a bit out of the city, 50 egypt pounds by taxi. There are sand creations about Egypt and famous characters of the history. Price:10 eur. The coffee at the bar is horrible.

A beautiful place for the family and especially the children to take a lot of pictures of the landmarks and celebrities of the world. Many heroes cartoon films for children. You will love very much seeing these sand sculptures. You will return from this place with many photos. Sun umbrellas are available. Where it is an open place. And working times up to 5 pm only. You will remember that visit to sand city for many years.

Review №28

Very overpriced when nothing was on, we went Monday afternoon and payed 10 English pounds entry fee each. This includes nothing, there is a cafe inside that you pay as normal at. Wanted to see historical sculptures only, most were cartoon and Disney characters or non Egypt related things like a hindu elephant. Took us 10 minutes to walk round and our uber really struggled to find us. We struggled using Google maps to get there too and just went based off of memory from seeing the sign. Had to walk a very smelly rocky car road to enter as there was no walk way for pedestrians.

Not much to see. It is £9 each to go in. Annoyed at getting hustled by the camel owner. We paid to get in, and immediately was led off by a man we thought was a guide. Put us on the camel. Rode around for 10 minutes. Then when we got off, he started demanding payment. Ended up giving him £20 but he wanted £200!

I took an Uber there. It was VERY difficult to find as the place is brand new and still under construction. You need to go about 200m down a gravel track to get to the car park. Sand City is on the LEFT hand side of SUN CITY Shopping Mall. If u cant find that, look for the Titanic Hotel, it is 500m to the left when facing the building. I throughly enjoyed it because I love art and this is right up my alley. All the facilities are new. There is a little cafe as well as unbrellas to get around the venue with.
