This place is awesome for the local authentic Egyptian cuisine. The breakfast sandwiches (whether you eat-in or takeaway) are surprisingly good. Something that I thought was missing from Gouna.Definitely worth trying 👍

Gouna is quiet this time of year, the weather is cool and temperate but deserted like Seville in high summer. Restaurants here can be pricie by But Zomba is a real find. The tables are.clean and the food is cheap by holiday standards and therefore it was full of an eclectic mix of tourists and locals. Expect to pay under 10 euro for two courses and a beer

Weve been here some times, once for breakfast and other times for drinks. Well, shakshuka was ok, then I took a sahleb(local winter hot drink, a kind of milk pudding) which was very nice too. But the last time when we came for the sahleb it was a disaster. After 10 minutes of waiting they brought us just a hot milk (liquid!) which was very far from sahleb. When we asked to change they said that they finished it in the kitchen (actually they finished it even before we made the order). They are very slow and hardly speak English, so I wouldnt come back there.

Very disappointing.. I ordered delivery and asked for 2 whole chickens for 120 LE each, so 240 LE total, and all I got was 2 small portions of chicken, maybe half a chicken total. I will never order from here again. Also, the rice portions are not even enough for one adult.

Great local food for very small prices. Quick service. The juices are bit too sweet. More like a dessert. We will come again for sure!

I ordered a shish taouk, absolutely delicious, probably the best one I have tasted. The chicken and mushroom soup was also very good, and the service is excellent. The place has a good ambience, comfortable and well ventilated.

Value for money. Service was great. People are very polite. Nice Egyptian breakfast. Eggs had little vasterma though n foul (beans) could have been better. Tameya is the best. Fried eggplant was extremely good

Swarama here is really good especially for 30ep, that included pomes already, really great....reading the other comments here lol lesson dont get a full chicken here :) especially for 120?! Lol I get a full fish dinner at places here for TWO for that much :-)

From the first minute I got in, staff are not professional, the guy on the cash smokes cigarettes, the Waiter asked me to move to another table despite there was only me and another small family at the restaurant.I dont think I would go back there again 👎

Horrible taste coupled with high prices and a very strange level of customer service. I literally said the sandwiches were bad and the reply from the waiter was The skillets are good.

The place doesnt seem that it has good food from outside, but they have amazing Kushari and Egyptian food, i only gave 4 starts because we didnt feel that the staff are nice and because i order shawerma and it turned out as Fajitaa very yummy one but it wasnt shawerma!! I still recommend it.

Absolutely ridiculous! Ordered two grilled chickens and what I got is a bird that looks smaller than a dove! And I paid an extra 50 LE for 6 plates of rice, each is the size of two spoons full! The rice was tasty but the chicken had no taste. Wont give it a second try.

Very nice & cosy place, open all day long, serving typical Egyptian dishes. The seats are super comfy and the music is very relaxing. On top they have many books available to read during your meal or while digesting on a perfectly prepared Turkish coffee. For breakfast, try foul with butter, sandwich of falafel with eggplant and Zomba mixed salad. And dont miss the lemon mint drink!

Very good egyptian restaurant .. The main dishes here are OK . But dont order whole chicken cause you will find some bird close to a pegion more than a chicken. Shawarma and fahita are the same here .Local egyptian sandwiches are the main thing here with reasonable prices . Its a little bit salty but delicious.

Very good restaurant and nice menu with good staff

The quality of the mezze and meat was disappointing. We went there twice and always felt sick the next day. If you are looking for authentic mezze and perfect hospitality, try MazaGouna at the Marina. It was our favourite spot in El Gouna.

Grilled chicken was OK, but the Tehina and Thomeya were a joke. A literal joke. Very diluted to the point that when you dip something, it just falls off.
