Restaurant was empty when we arrived and made us a little nervous, but we had no reason to be! All of the food was excellent and come in large portions. Tomato soup was great, as were the thin, crispy, perfectly breaded schnitzel. Cheesecake was unique but excellent and the crust was one of the best I’ve ever had on a cheesecake. Highly recommend for something different in Hurghada at an affordable price.

The Restaurant location very nice easy to reach, we were planning for nice dinner. My friend and myself order steak, soup & salad. The salad was was very salty, steak was OK. The workers were arguing among themselves with a loud voice, They didnt care about the Egyptian guests.

What a great place to eat at. We are so happy that we went there. First, we did not want to leave the all-inclusive resort, since we had so much food available to us at the hotel restaurants. Also, we were a bit scared to drive into the city of Hurghada, but all our worries were gone after we arrived.The place was very cozy but modern, and the food was terrific. We ordered everything from Pizza to camel steak, and all was very good. The owners speak English and German, so communication is effortless.I highly recommend a visit to the Mainzer in Hurgada.

A great place for food and so cheap, the steak is delicious and the service is quick. Unfortunately we only found this place the night before leaving or would have had all evening meals there. Lovely staff, great service.

The food was okay. The service, however, was simply unprofessional. Side dishes Salad was not shown with the dishes, we ordered extra. Then everyone had 2 salads because there was one as a side dish. Could have been mentioned when ordering. I was also bothered by the unclean toilet, although there were hardly any guests at the time (around 6 p.m., so rather early in the evening).We knew that differently

Food and drinks absolutely recommendable! The prices are incredibly cheap.Who loves cats gets his moneys worth.When we were there the cats were petted and fed by other guests. The result was begging and jumping cats running across tables benches. You had to defend every piece of the delicious steak.

90min waiting time for the main course, and then steak through instead of medium, croquettes still frozen inside, side dish portion (fried potatoes) microscopic, ... 50% of the main courses were good and tasty. That is not enough for a recommendation. Staff very friendly.

We ate there and had a drink. For Egypt it was a very tasty meal for me. I had the grill plate for about 10 euros. This included a salad that was dressed with proper dressing. French fries with mayonnaise and ketchup. A piece of chicken breast, a beef steak and a camel steak with herb butter. It was very tasty and tasty. Especially if you look at the food in Egypt. For me a reason to recommend the restaurant. We did not eat there last time.

We just took a taxi on luck and it was absolutely worth it. The equivalent of € 1.50 for a beer and € 5-6 for the beef steak or the cordon bleu and it tasted absolutely delicious for Egyptian food. Contrary to our previous experience, 1 star is actually way too much today. Very bad service! 1 hour waiting time for the starter ..... The main course prawns really not edible. Totally dry ..... Our complaint was made ridiculous. Very arrogant boss, she got the full price for the inedible food without any kind of compromise. Mainz never again !!!! She also had the nerve to round up the bill independently, or withhold change from friends. Under no circumstances can it be recommended.

Positive:Drinks and the food are delicious (the camel steak could be a bit more tender), definitely a good change from the hotel buffet. The boss greets her guests warmly, so that you immediately feel welcome. The restaurant also convinces with order and cleanliness, which is not necessarily standard in Egypt.Unfortunately there is also something negative:An evening with live music can only be understood by its immediate neighbors, you have to shout at the people on the other side of the table and the staff when ordering (live music shouldnt impress with volume). The bill should be paid with EGP, otherwise the boss obviously calls up fantasy prices (in euros). Which was the case several times during my visit and did not turn out to be inadvertent when asked.

Be fooled by the German name ...Food was just ok for the price. My fries to Cheesburger cold, Chees was not on display, and more than 2/3 was bread. My husbands meat was very important.The German boss was the evening over friendly, the staff had to call (at least for us) basically two times to get an order.At the end was very brazen without a word instead of 22, with 18 converted and thus added his tip and in our friends equal to 10 € so beat up. When it was noticed and addressed, it was only said that the guests had themselves been guilty.

Yesterday evening live karaooke - not even Shazan recognized a title! Loud-bad and not at all comparable to anything that can be fun.Was surely well meant but was completely wrong.The tomato soup looked like a pumpkin soup and tasted like a Maggi cube. The pizza went like that but was really no better than at the AllIn Hotel.The spaghetti tasted great - the Bolognese was lukewarm.The steak was chewy and the fried potatoes were too salty.All in all a not expensive evening BUT for the overall result we could have stayed better in the hotel...... and if you say bad mood anyway you would like the invoice then you dont have to ask 28 times if everything was okay - no it was not okay.Repeat guarantee = 0%

Unfortunately, I can only fully agree with the previous speaker. After an acceptable waiting time (30 minutes) I got my veal schnitzel. Unfortunately this was not seasoned enough. The salad with ready-made dressing was inedible. My son (7 years old) had ordered his favorite meal (spaghetti Bolognese). He is actually very undemanding when it comes to the food. But in this case he stopped eating after a spoon with the comment does not taste good. Then I tried it too. An outrage to serve something like that. Cooked spaghetti without a bite with ready-made sauce from the glass.
