Beautiful place to enjoy sun, beach, and coral reefs (with thousands of beautiful fish). You can go snorkeling or scuba diving directly from the beach. Also the food is very delicious! The staff is very friendly. Shorty sated, a truly nice place!

Me and my boyfriend spend 5 days at Sham el Naga resort in Nov 2021.The best part about it is the crew that runs this place. They go out of their way to give you a nice experience with the possibilities they have (which unfortunately are not many). They are really friendly and caring. Especially the receptionist Mohammad, who was really nice and put a lot off effort into supporting our wishes. He is a very nice contra example to experiences we made with other agyptians, that try to get their best benefit out of their encounter with you. He even sent a taxi driver to Hurghada to deliver the jacket I forgot in the room.Unfortunately the place is a bit old and run down and it seems like no one invests in this hotel anymore. Still we recommend staying here for 1-2 nights instead of taking a day trip from Hurghada. The food is decent and the beach chairs are nice. But unfortunately that is all their is. The beach Volley Ball field and the Pool are not their anymore and they do not have a nice area to hang around in the evening. Dinner is from 7-9pm and afterwards you can only go to your room or sit at the beach in the dark. For the days we went there we were pretty bored after 5pm when it got dark. If you go I would recommend going for 2 nights only or bring movies to watch. The house reef is very nice, with hundreds of fish.Unfortunately when you swim a bit further out, the water is also full of plastic trash. The resort is not responsible for this trash, I guess, but it would do the place good if they headed out in the morning to collect it.The diving center is very expensive compared to the prices offered in Hurghada. We got offered two introductory dives of 20min for 70€/p.P and instead we took a half-day boat trip then from Hurghada with two introductory dives of 20min and lunch included for 45€/p.P

A small and pleasant golf course, wherr you can go for snorkeling and scuba diving. Kind and pleasant staff. There is a bar and a lunch service available too.

I think Ive never met friendlier staff.. super nice people.. they would go out of their way to make you happy and comfortable.. the location and beach are amazing.. the food is great.. simple and feels like home made food.. the value for money is great.. the rooms could do better with some little maintenance but overall a great experience

Quiet and isolated from everything by a rocky desert with no paved roads. The place itself is simple, pleasant and clean. The staff are beyond amazing, theyre extremely friendly and helpful you cant but love them! They allow dogs on the property and they have a little stretch of beach

I booked my stay last minute after a change of plan in another hotel. I got a call right away from Mr Mina who kindly made sure my request for a single bed is met, and I was given a beautiful sea view room.I spent 6 nights and I will be back again for sure, mainly for diving.The house reef is the best I’ve ever seen in the Red Sea, untouched and full of life - corals and fish! People at the diving center know what they’re doing, and are really nice and humble, you won’t find any snobbish attitude there. They are friendly, welcoming and decent. Also it’s quiet affordable!Rooms are clean, with a private bathroom, balcony and AC. What was missing: a no disturb sign (to use if I don’t want housekeeping), and a kettle (and tea). Saleh from housekeeping was really friendly and helpful.Food was clean and delicious, everyone was super friendly and helpful. I forgot to mention that I don’t eat meat in my reservation but the chef made sure to have something for me in every meal. If you’re vegetarian or vegan I recommend you mention that in your reservation, although you will always find salads and vegetable dish along with carbs. The one thing that was inconvenient for me with food is the meal time: I wake up before 6am and breakfast is served from 8:30am, and I don’t like to eat after 6pm and dinner is served at 7pm, I would have preferred an earlier meal time.My overall experience was positive and I’m happy to recommend this place, especially for divers and snorkelers - you can see eagle rays while snorkeling :)

Its a very good hotel and he have a very good service also he have a very prefrontal staff about the rooms its really have a nice view also the beach very nice and clean and also the water was amazing it was a very good time i spend in this place.

Service in the diving center is very bad, you have to walk with the tanks for a mile and return them back .. unlimited dives but no tanks available so you have to wait for 2 hrs between the dives to get your tank .. no night dives and diving start at 9 to 4 pm so actually you do 2 dives only

If you want to get away from it all, this is the place to go. On the way out it looked like nothing was here. Then you roll up on the resort. Not a resort in the sense of 5 star, people waiting on you hand and foot. The five star that leaves you feeling recharged and better about life. There is a bit of a walk from your room to the beach, but just make sure to have all your things for the day before you set out. There is food and drinks if you get hungry and beer to quench your thirst after a day of snorkeling or diving. For such a small place, there is actually really nice diving. I saw the resident Barracuda along with a family of squid! The diving is cheap and if you are experienced, you can head out on your own without a guide. Breakfast, lunch and dinner were included in my stay, and they had a deal where you get 5 free drinks a day if you book with the resort itself. The food was OK. If youre a picky eater or vegetarian, it might not be food you are looking for. They had the same breakfast, lunch and dinner over and over again. However I thought it was filling and not to bad. Overall this place is definitely worth the money. I will be coming back for a quick getaway in the future.

So nice i was diving there since 1999 and last time was three years ago in fact the place getting improved than last time very clean and organized ,so good beach and snorkeling is lovely over there deep diving is amazing from the lagoon north direction and south as well . I liked it.

Spent few days here, excellent location in middle of nowhere. Reception staff fantastic thanks Mohammed. Room clean had tv, air con, towels, soap, shampoo provided. Beautiful coral reef, fish all in all relaxing time.

Nice and cozy place, its the last shore dive destination in hurgada.Its a good place for family vacation.Rooms with Air condition no T.VThey serve 3 meals but drinks not include.For families with babys they have to have all the babys needs coz no pharmacys or shops near by.

A cozy hotel, clean rooms and a very nice house reef. Diving school was exellent! The staff an management of the hotel was less then average. Waited over three houers until my room was ready. When i asked for late check out however that wasnt possible for whatever reason. Food ist average at best.

Everything was perfect, the hotel staff are extremely nice, the food is excellent and varied. Drinks are chargeable but cheap for a place like this. The dive center is very good and the manager Mohamed is very nice as well as his team. The corals are very very beautiful whether for snorkelling or diving. I will definitely be back.

It is suitable for a camp and away from the crowds. Personally, it is very suitable for me. A suitable price and location for diving with recreation, but the level of service is linked to the work, meaning if the work is not large, the service will not be like that, and vice versa.

Great bay for snorkeling and diving, room clean, staff friendly and delicious food. There was nothing to complain about. There is no paved driveway, so it is best to travel by off-road vehicle. The sewage pump of the neighboring building is very loud, especially at night. Those who are sensitive to noise should not stay overnight.

Quiet, small hotel on the bay. It has a sandy beach. The coral reef starts from the shore, after which the depth deepens to 8 meters and further to 15 meters. Perfect for snorkelling.

A dream place. Simply wonderful for snorkeling and relaxing. Everything is very neat and clean for the simple equipment. The food is excellent. Soft drinks are included with the meal.There are drinks on the beach for a reasonable price. Coffee, latte macchiato, cappuccino, soft drinks every 1 euro. 0.5 liter of beer costs 2.50 euros.Unfortunately, entry is quite expensive. 45 euros per person. But if you book the journey and entry through a local travel agency, you are only 25 - 35 euros per person.Wednesdays are not busy. Everything manageable and not overcrowded. Tuesdays and Thursdays are the main day of visits for the individual travel providers.This place is highly recommended for snorkelers and divers. Also for inexperienced and small children.
