One of the best Italian places Ive been to outside Italy. The people are super friendly. The pizza dough is super delicious and the rest of the pizza as well. The pasta there is awesome. The location is really nice and very cosy but also very lively.

A must go in Gouna! Authentic italian restaurant with a wide variety on their menu. The service was very quick and very attentive. We tried the Bufalina (Buffalo mozzarella pizza) and Diavola (spicy salami pizza) and we savoured every bit. Hands down one of the best pizza places in Egypt. We also tried the penne red sauce which did not meet our expectations, was too bland. Overall, this is a greatly recommended place and we would definitely go back again.

Nice Italian food and hang out, we had the seafood linguini and the scallopinni lemon sauce, 7.5. Great staff and hospitality, clean and neat.

The place is really cool, chic and has awesome vibes. They are understaffed and it took us some time for the waiter to come and get our order. The pizza was heaven! same was the pasta. Bit overpriced but thats everywhere in gouna! It was great that they offered gluten free pasta do!

Very nice restaurant at Down Town El Gouna Hurghada, very nice seating area and very tasty food, i took veal with mushrooms in brown sauce and the side was grilled vegetables and cubes of baked potatoes.It is a bit expensive but it is an elegant restaurant and very tasty food.

I tried Italian food in at least 10 restaurants in Egypt and in Rome Airport. I. Hate. Italian. Food.Until I had a taste of Zia Amelia...The food was the surprise of my year, it turns out: Italian food is super delicious! Only when you find a place than can cook it properly.The owner stops by all tables to make sure that everything is good and no one is dissatisfied, the pizza is out of this world, the Gnocchi is really good. I dont think anything was bad.But the Lasagna was just something else.... It was pure bliss... You HAVE to try it!

I was craving Egyptian food for a while and when Id gotten my fill, decided to give Italian a shot. I got the beef mustard plate. The meat was extremely tender and cooked just right. The sauce was the perfect texture, spices and depicted a great representation of mustard blend.The calzone and pizza dough were made perfectly wood fire toasted.I hadnt genuinely enjoyed Italian like this in quite some time. Definitely recommend and would make a staple!

Loved, loved this place. Very cozy, staff are super friendly and kind. Had more than one instance where the staff were up to the task right away and always made sure we were taken care of. Food didnt take long at all and was hot and delicious.I tried the homemade pasta with pork, mushroom and white sauce.. it was absolutely delicious; so were the complimentary garlic bread. Would definitely recommend and go there again.

I haven’t even gotten my food, and I am rating this restaurant five stars just off their service alone. I walked up after a long day and just wanted something to eat. I was IMMEDIATELY greeted with so much respect and great service. The host helped me to decide what to eat, and I chose to wait inside because of the great energy. I’m not a fan of Gouna, but this restaurant deserves a try if you’re up this way. Great service, and I’m sure they put the same amount of love in their food. I’ll keep you updated. =)

Super disappointed! After reading plenty of positive reviews about the restaurant, we decided to give it a try.At first, the atmosphere and ambience are really nice and relaxing.We ordered the seafood pasta and the beef mushroom. To our surprise, the food was very poor in terms of taste and quality! The beef was rubbery and tasteless! Same for the seafood pasta, it had a really bad after taste. However, we complained to our waiter and he was very understanding, as he removed the items from our bill.We ended up having a tiramisu and an apple tarte instead.Overall, I don’t think I will be visiting the place again.

The seafood pasta was horrible. They are using the worst seafood quality and they cut them in small pieces so you don’t even know what you’re eating🤮the calamar salad had all potatoes, carrots and maybe one piece of calamari that was chewy and not tasty at all. To top it all, it’s very expensive. I don’t recommend it at all!

This is a great Italian place. Wonderful food and REAL pork products; ham, Italian sausage, bacon. We got the calzone, the margarita pizza, the spaghetti alla carbonara and the mixed salad. All were delicious. Before the meal, they bring fresh rolls and bruschetta for the table. Magdy was our server. He was attentive, helpful, and always available to us. It is a favorite place for us in El Gouna.

I was extremely excited to visit your restaurant at first. However, once I laid foot into the place the waiter was very impolite and asking if we had a reservation placed (knowing there were too many empty tables that stayed empty even after we left and I could guarantee that as we sat somewhere very close). I received a very rude attitude that made me so angry I didn’t want to book your place any other day. One terrible way to deal with guests. And even a more provocative reply.

The experience was amazing, from the atmosphere, the excellent service, and of course, the food! We had a delicious marinara pizza with veggies that was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a nice spicy pepper in oil sauce.I just wish I could give it 6* out of 5 ☺️

Was one of the worst experiences Ive had!!!! Food was below par, and the service was all over the place. My friends steak was overcooked then brought with the wrong sauce. I ordered a chicken parmigiana and it was dry tasteless. I wouldnt expect to be served this kind of food in a low end open buffet let alone a nice restaurant. Wouldnt recommend it.

It has always been known that Zia Amelia offers the best italian food in Gouna .. I have been here 3 times and this time was not one of the best times . It has been better . The service was late .. the food was the same quality we are used to .. I hope it returns to its standards the next time I visit

We turned up without a reservation, were found a spot by the Italian owner, outside on the terrace, by the heaters.The food was very good - we opted for pasta and pizza, all fresh and tasty - after complimentary bruscettas, and parmigiana aubergines (delicious!)The waitress was very attentive and very kind, following up on whether our dishes arrived as we finished starters.Not the cheapest but a very good place, which I definitely recommend

It was a great experience, the setting is lovely, I wish I went there without the kids to be able to enjoy the atmosphere more.Im not an expert in Italian cuisine but I can tell that this was a good quality food, we tried a vegetable pizza and a pasta with chicken and mushroom, both were unique and tasty. I highly recommend this restaurant.

I never considered Italian food until one of my friends recommends this amazing restaurant, I tried the Octopus salad and the Languinie Sea food pasta.Amelias owner was so nice and stayed to help us choose from the menu, And the staff is friendly with a wide variety of options.My friends tried from her recommendations:Lasangia, pizza 🍕, and many more plates that I cant recall its names overall I loved the experience and looking forward to try it again.

We werent impressed with this restaurant that came recommend to us, especially for the prices, we expected a higher standard. The pizza wasnt crisp in the middle and the lasagna dinner was burnt all around the edges and extremely dry. Obviously it was pre-made, frozen and re-baked, something you wouldnt expect from an Italian restaurant.Staff was attentive and that is really all that we felt the experience had going for it.

Beautiful resturant and very good food, had the scamorza cheese, which wad rich in taste.The bufalina pizza was amazing, and almost creamy tomato sauce, and a perfect crust. Very good panna cotta as well.Comes at a very acceptable price, considering the quality of the food.Well worth a visit.

I visit this restaurant frequently, the reasons to repeat is the wide range of food and its variety, all products are of very good quality, my favorite is the chicken parmesan. The treatment of the service is very good and friendly. Once a week the place is set with live music, it makes for a very pleasant time

I was told that this place would have the best food i tasted in my life, so i had very high expectations going there. The food was indeed good but not as i expected, pasta was verry well cooked and tasty! What surprised me the most was the scallope, it was not that good, we took the one with Jambon, and it had a very wierd/bad taste!

The food is good, but the service is terrible. A bunch of waiters just idiotically standing around not being able to help the guests, or helping them in the wrong order. Generally rude and unprofessional. Also, if you work in an Italian restaurant you really should know what a bruschetta is and should be able to answer questions about the food intelligently.
