The stay was for me perfect because the first 3 days i lost my card that made me feel so bad because i couldn’t pay for the Hostel (a traveling struggle). Then I got the chance to meet Gabriel & Hanni the hosts of Sea waves Hostel, they were so sweet, they took care of my like brothers who help each other in need. They were so patient during my stay. We could talk for hours about art, food and the sightseeing’s of Egypte. The rooms are clean enough in combination with the price.

If you want breakfast you have to wake them up 👆 we missed breakfast every morning because its not prepared but they made us dinner one evening instead. Lots of food! Really well priced. Quiet location beside the best dive center in hurghada.

My friends and I would have loved to have stayed longer at this guest house! Hany and his staff were incredibly welcoming and helpful the entire time we were there. The staff were happy to make food runs, beer runs, bus ticket runs for us all because they didnt want us to get traveler prices and because they wanted us to make our selves at home and relax on their beautiful roof top patio. They went above and beyond. Although finding this location was a bit of a challenge, it was no doubt worth the search! Thank You!

This is a budget hotel, room are clean bathroom and shower too. Large roof terrace and outside kitchen to meet people Staff and Owner have been nice and helpful. Its more like a bed and breakfast/bacpacker than an hotel.

Thats a very nice, quiet, cozy and friendly place, his owner Mr. Hany is the best, he is always ready to help you in anything you need, he offers you breakfast when you wake up, theres always coffee available for you without any cost, when you are leaving is not complicated with checking out at an specific time, he is flexible and we felt very comfortable and happy while staying at his hostel. The place is very near to the public beach, there are many many supermarkets, restaurants, cafes, anything you need is centric and make sure hell always help you and assist you in anything you need. The best thing we loved about his place was the quietness and you can really feel happy because theres no one bothering you and you can also go to the roof top and spend some time there reading, texting or relaxing.

On an egyptian scale an accepatable Hostel. As everywhere the WiFi is not the best, there is not much space in the dorms for your luggage, bute a basic breakfast is included on a roof terrace and the price is very cheap!

Dont book any dives over this hostel. He will book you a tour with white dolphines bit they accualy dont do diving the go for 10 minutes dive in less then 5 meters deep and you have to share the equipment with 20 other people. The hostel is realy run down but the rouf top is ok. At least you can meet some other people.

For some reason they told me that they dont accept locals in other words Egyptians although i told them its shows otherwise on booking but this is our policy

For the price ok, but for us nothing to stay. A little bit too dilapidated very loud an not very cozy (rooftop). For a short stay and budget people ok.

The staff was friendly and one of the employees was a native German speaker. So much for the positive.Negative was:- at check-in we were told that the room we had booked (2-bed room) in the Sea Waves Hostel was no longer available, even though we had booked it through Booking.com. We then had to move into the direct neighboring hostel Hana Hostel from the same owner, since a suitable room was only available there. My rating is therefore primarily aimed at the Hana Hostel- the internet is completely capricious. In the best case, it is enough for a YouTube video at 144p, but usually the WLAN is mercilessly overloaded and 1Mb takes about 60 seconds to download. And at that time there were only 4 people in the hostel. This also applies to the Sea Waves Hostel itself, where I also tried the WiFi several times. If you urgently need the Internet, you should definitely get a SIM card abroad. Absolutely unreliable WiFi; Checking in for the return flight was only possible after several hours of trying.- the flushing of the toilets broke several times during our week-long stay. Partly this was not repaired for days- the staff has very strange check times. You can often hear the staff walking through the hostel after 10:00 p.m- the mini fridge in the room was broken- the water filter system in the kitchen was broken- the kitchen only had one pot and one pan which was dirty in the kitchen for the entire 7 day stay- defective gas stove- During our stay, food was sometimes stolen from the shared fridge, although at that time nobody but the two of us lived in the hostel...- the room we stayed in looked straight into a backyard full of dog poop. Apparently wild dogs slept right under the window so you could smell them with the window open- the drains of the shower are partially clogged. A five-minute shower is enough to flood the entire main bathroom.- During the entire stay I did not notice a single cleaning of any premises.And so on.Never again. No recommendation.

Customer orientation is an absolute foreign word for the owner. When it comes to employee management, it is not much different. Archangel, at least, made the stay extremely pleasant.

Very close to the sea, very cheap and fresh. Comfortable beds and large rooms. Staff very knowledgeable and willing to give advice and suggestions on what to visit in Hurgada and Egypt. Living in Istanbul, getting to Egypt from Hurgada is the best solution, I will come back here every time

Totally dissapointing awful hotel.No water for 2 days which means cannot wash hands or take a shoeer or go to the bathroom.Also, the staff came inside the room while sleeping without any premession.Check out was worse because the staff with the entrance key was unavailable, so we were trapped inside the hotel and couldnt get out, and we were late for the diving. The facilities are dangerous and my freind cut his leg with the sharpened glass and went to the hospital.The worst hotel.Because there is no water, you cant wash the toilet, you cant wash your hands, and of course you cant get a shower.The staff comes in without permission while sleeping.In the morning, I cant get out of the hotel because I dont have staff, so Im late for diving. The equipment is also dangerous, and my friends cut their legs with glass and went to the hospital.

In general, the building is in a pre-emergency condition. No blanket covers, one towel for two. Circus with water. So lets say, for people who are not demanding the most.
