We spent two weeks vacation in the adjoining Hotel Sol y mar beach. My girlfriend already has the advanced open water diving license, I got my open water diving license in this diving school and I was absolutely thrilled. I am deliberately writing this review in great detail to help others who are also faced with a choice between the two providers. Basically there is a choice between Scuba World Divers and Cave Divers. The sellers of Scuba World Divers are only allowed to sell on the beach section of Sol y Mar Beach, the sellers of Cave Divers are only allowed to sell at the Caribbean World Resorts. We have thus cheated. At first glance, Scuba World Divers looks more modern from the boats, but we didnt like it personally. At Cave Divers we felt that it was about diving and not about making money. For example, a free trial dive was directly possible, whereas Scuba World Divers wanted to charge money for it. Both providers probably dont take much from each other in terms of quality. It is clear that the sellers talk badly to each other, which is why we were faced with a difficult choice due to the lack of reviews. Do we rely on our gut feeling or do we follow the good (especially available) reviews of Scuba World Divers? What was very important to us, besides the sympathy, was the way to the diving school. The diving school of Cave Divers is directly on the beach at the hotels, the school of Scuba World Divers is a little way away and has to be reached by taxi / bus / boat. One has to be aware of this - also that dives do not start “on the doorstep”. On the boats of Cave Divers we were offered drinks at any time, regardless of whether it was tea, cola, Fanta, etc. All equipment was also carried onto the boats and then unloaded again, washed and dried. The service and the friendliness of the staff was outstanding. My friend told me that she had never had to do so little on submersibles. The quality of the training to become an open water diver was very good. Many Germans actually prefer cave divers, as we found out. On the one hand because we got into conversation with other German guests on the beach, on the other hand because the divers / snorkelers were also often German.I hope that this rating helps others to decide which diving school is the right one, because that was what we lacked at the time - for us it was definitely right to follow our gut feeling.Addendum: The Cave Divers probably have two Google entries, we hadnt seen that, the other Google entry has more reviews.

Location right next to the Caribbean World Soma Bay. Hands off!!! Unprofessional, badly organized. Quality is a matter of luck.
