February 2022: came here (kawthar branch) for good reviews about grilled kebabs. Was not impressed at all with chewy lamb and not so flavorful kofta. Decor is oriental and clean. Staff was nice. They have other home cooking items in the menu, I only tried molokheia (Egyptian green soup ).I would not go back.

I visited family restaurant about 4 times. I found it it be very authentic, well prepared Egyptian food. The only reception was the fattah; it has too much vinegar. The chicken, Tikka, kufta, and even the regular standard Egyptian rice were all prepared very nicely and very tasty. The staff is very friendly and its very reasonably priced. The only reason I didnt give it 5 stars is because they allow smoking inside. If my 4 visits, I had to move tables twice because other patrons were smoking.

Delicious authentic Egyptian food and very generous portions. And at such a reasonable price! Very busy with locals, a hidden gem. Sadly we ran out of time to go again but would highly recommend it. Big variety of dishes (and some adventurous options too). Thank you to the staff if you read this

I really love this place. We usually take food to go. About 20-30 minutes and youre done. The guys cook after receiving the order and the food is always hot.Very inexpensive for the price. And its always delicious.Highly recommend.
