We arrived back from sultan bey today. We would like to thank everyone for a great stay. The gardeners work so hard also keeping the gardens up together. Everyone is so friendly and helpful. We will be back April for another holiday and to catch up with the friends i made at sultan bey. Thankyou to everyone at the hotel. Take care see you in Aril.

Sultan bey Restaurant of the hotel is not at the level that i expected. We stay at the Sheraton and we use the dinner around service.what a bad surprise when we come at the sultan restaurant... Quality of the buffet very poor/ desserts buffet are empty after 30 minutes

The hotel good but It is small, swimming pool is small, food not good.

Half way through our two week stay and we are having a wonderful time! The staff are exceptionally friendly and very efficient. We have an amazing room with a view over the lagoon and pool, very lucky and very thankful. Looking forward to another lovely week here!! I almost forgot the food is fantastic - big credit to the chefs!!

I loved the design and the decor of the hotel, the food was amazing, there were different cuisines everyday and the food was very tasty. It is located almost 3 minutes away from the downtown which is a very nice location. However, the hotel lacked activities and the partying vibe. Its very chill and mellow. A lovely hotel.

Best Hotel Ive been to. Great food, nice people wherever you look. The staff tries to make everything as convenient as it could be but in a very pleasant and personal way.the hotel itself is beautiful. Centrally located in el gouna but still calm and beautiful since it has its own lagoon. The beach is great because there is a small reef where you can snorkel. Its not overcrowded at all. Even during the day the loudest thing you will hear are the waves and the wind. I will definitely come back as soon as possible!!!

Amazing amazing amazing .. first visit to Egypt and we were made to feel very welcome.. the staff are so very friendly and helpful.. food here has plenty of choice everyday and very tasty.. you have to try the lovely little desserts yummy... Joseph at the pool bar is fantastic so funny, and can make any drink you like. Theres loads I can say about sultan bey.. but most of all just visit.

Poor facilities .. non professional and not polite staff

Sultan bey is one of the older hotels in El Gouna so +25y and you can see that in the rooms, reception restaurant etc. But what they manage to do in this hotel is amazing: very good maintenance, everything top clean, floors very clean in-and outside. all walls en framework nicely painted, flowers growing all over the place. The views are stunning from every side of the hotel, being in the middle of these nice lagoons. Boats are passing by all day, this is truly Egyption Venice.Hotel staff is 100% guest service minded. The food is very good, main course is always prepaired in front off your eyes, not the biggest choise ever, but enough variety every day. After 10 days still not been sick, and that is very rare in Egypt!The pool is small, but never crowdy, people go to Zeytouna beach by free shuttle boat, from and run by the hotel, so everything is well spread. Zeytouna beach is now ran by The Three Corners and is great, guest from Sultan Bey can have free lunch and drinks all day long. The toilet building has been renewed, terrace at the restaurant is very cosy now.If one likes beeing lasy at the pool, there is no need to go to Zeytouna. Poolbar service is great at Sultan Bey.No doubt we will be back here.

Probably the nicest people i’ve ever met, the staff was absolutely brilliant. We instantly felt at home here.The food is good and varied. There’s a private beach where you can relax that also has a kite club.Perhaps one downside was the free WiFi, which was enough to send a whatsapp Messages but not much more. If you need internet consider the paid upgrade.All in all i’d return here and would recommend this hotel in El Gouna.

Very friendly place staff were fantastic very polite and helpful the food was excellent hot and plentiful the chefs wood cook different food if you wanted. Location was excellent you where right on the lagoon. Will be going back for a longer stay.

Nice, cozy hotel by the El Gouna lagoon. Nice apartment like rooms. One pool on site, which can get a bit crowded during day time. Hotel sea beach (Zeytouna Beach) accessible by shuttle boat. At Zeytouna Beach you have access to Kitefamily sports center for rentals and lessons as well as a coral reef for snorkeling. Hotel food was ok, but a bit bland and tasteless. 2 blocks walking distance from El Gouna downtown. Overall many pros including the price.

Clean and well kept, nice and friendly staff. Good food in all inclusive, prepared to order. Heated pools (on childrens pool). Bring mosquito repellent.

Location is great . Food is very bad . Very poor . Even the juice is a powder juice . No kattle in the rooms . Even the soap bottle was already used . Very bad

Pros; Clean and practical, very close to down town elgouna, beach access by boat crossing the beautiful lagoon. I particularly like the room view and buffet setup.Cons: no wifi access in rooms, no triple room setup available (they provide a sofa bed), and the pool is a bit small.

We stayed for two weeks the staff were so helpful and nice to me and my wife that we didnt want to leave a magical place and the food was excellent they helped us with all our activities from snorkeling to horse riding at sunset entertainment most nights from bellydances to singer and had a trip to meet the Bedouin people at the Oasis and have a camel ride and watch bellydances and the men that spin skirts we will never forget the time at sultan bey hotel

This is my second visit to Sultan Bey. This is how my day went: wake up. Eat breakfast from the buffet. Go to the beach. Eat lunch. Go the pool. Eat dinner. Sleep. For 4 days. And thats how my ideal vacation should go. Add to all that, the free drinks at the bar by the pool, phenomenal customer service (which makes the deal for me), and exquisite views, and that pretty much paints the picture for you at Sultan Bey. The scenery itself in El Gouna is something else. Sultan Bey offers a boat ride to the beach front, since the one right next to the hotel isnt that large, so you get to see all the nice Villas overlooking the sea.The architecture of the buildings is similar to what you would see in South Egypt; classic and simple, very easy on the eyes. The only issue is the sea itself, its not as nice as the Mediterranean. It has small bits of pebbles when you go in deeper. For me that wasnt a big deal. And admittedly, that responsibilty falls under the city not the hotel. In any case, this is my hotel when (not if) I go back to El Gouna.

Excellent level of service, relaxing atmosphere, and extremely polite team.The only concern was the house keeping, which needs to be enhanced.Ideal for who are looking for sun, beach, relaxation, and sea/desert activities/sports.

The beds were not that clean. Small variety of food. Not enough options for having fun. Poor wifi connection.

Arriving at Sultan Bey is like coming home

The rooms were ok, but left much to be desired. The weather was miserable when we went and our trip got cut short so we really didnt have a chance to enjoy El Gouna.

Just spent 2wks here fabulous friendly staff, very efficient and helpful, very clean typical all inclusive meals but varies often I have food allergies and chefs extremely helpful and enjoyed every meal freshly cooked for me reception staff very accommodating, friendly and helpful nothing any bother will return later and recommend

Very nice hotel, the rooms were very good, and there is a bit of a beach as well, take the shuttle boat to Zeitona beach for a dip in the sea.

Only had a brief walk through. So can not say much about it. The pool area and bar Wright by lagoon looked really nice.

Lovely pool, beach and the added bonus of going to their island on the Red Sea. All the staff were lovely.
